This shoe is very comfortable and lightweight. Very slippery on wet surfaces. I love them and worth the money. Ready to buy second pair. I wear for everyday use.

Not for running - Bought these shoes just to dink around in. Made the mistake to go for a run in them. They are definitely made to wear as errand shoes or hang out in. They serve their purpose, and I like the orange and gray. I would recommend if you do not plan on physical activity off the grass.

Very comfortable, very light. This was the first pair of shoes where I paid attention to weight when I was ordering it. The laces aren't straight so they tend to grip better and stay tied longer. The left shoe feels like there's extra rubber on the arch so if you are really paying attention and gently rest your foot on the floor, you can feel a little lump. That being said, you can't notice it any other time. Most likely just a defect, but no major problem at all.

No comparison to the Brooks (old style)
I bought these boots to replace my old Ugg Brooks boots that are finally wearing out after nearly constant wear over the past 4 winters. These boots are nothing like the Brooks that they replaced! The sheepskin on the shaft is very thin and feels flimsy. The foot is not lined in sheepskin at all - the only sheepskin in the foot part is the removable insoles. Nothing on the toes, sides/tops of the feet, just plain leather. They also pinched my feet, even though I ordered the same size (8) as my old boots. So I'd say they run small. They just don't feel like quality and definitely are not warm enough for a Massachusetts winter.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Ugg Ultra maybe? Hope they bring back the Brooks!

I am a shoe weenie: nothing seems to work well. Except this unassuming low-rider from New Balance. Ahh. Finally a sneaker I can wear without any fatigue. And a super great added bonus: unlike every sneaker I've ever owned, this one will not get stinky. I now own two pairs.

...I grinned broadly when I slipped my feet into these!!
I bought these very light shoes specifically for a hill climb (run up, ride chairlift down), thinking, who needs cushioning for what I'm going to do: power-walking uphill for a half hour. They are a little like canvas bags with a sole on the bottom. Yet, they have an amazing amount of cushioning for being so low to the ground. In fact, my feet felt great during the half mile or so I ran on pavement/sidewalk warming up for the hill climb. Skipping the lift and running back down the mountain, post-race, the shoes felt as good as anything I've ever worn weighing twice as much.
They're the nearest thing to being barefoot that I know of. I hope they never stop making this one or something similar.

I run all trails and typically train barefoot, but I ran a marathon on an unfamiliar course this weekend and wanted the protection of a tough sole in case of sharp rocks and such. I ran 26.2 very rugged miles (including a beach, sharp, muddy inclines and some technical roots/rocks) on these, right out of the box, and they worked amazingly well. Despite training shoeless, the weight of the 790 is almost imperceptible. They also dry out very quickly, so if you happen to get them wet, they're usually dry within the next mile – weather permitting. All around, a very excellent, minimal trail shoe.

Fabulous shoes - I bought a pair of these in April and just love them. Comfortable, durable, good looking, and amazingly light weight. My wife always shops Zappos and raves about them, so I thought I'd plan ahead and buy a new pair of the 790s through Zappos.

Totally pleased -
These are the best shoe purchase I've made in quite a few years. Love the style, very comfortable but low profile, extremely lightweight (exactly 1/2 the weight of my Adidas running shoes), breathable, and so far very durable. Considering buying another pair for when these die, in case the style discontinues!

Ordered these because I wanted lightweight, comfortable shoes for general use and light athletic activity. Very happy with them. They did seem to run about a half size small, as other reviewers had mentioned, so I ordered up a half size.
I am very happy with the weight and comfort. My only cautions for others thinking of buying the shoes are that they are not terribly rugged. I imagine the sole will wear down fairly quickly. And, the arch support is a little less than I would like, but not bad by any means.
Overall, a great shoe.

Fell Apart -
It wasn't long until the rubber on the bottom of this shoe started coming apart from the rest of the shoe. Low quality for the price, the rest of the shoe was comfortable and fit well.

Looks, style, and comfort are exactly what I expected. I walk on a cement floor for about ten hours a day. I also run. These shoes are perfect for both!! I've noticed that some people on this site recommend going a full size larger...I think a half size would be plenty.

Terrible -
I am not happy with these shoes at all. The rubber is peeling off the sides and I will have to glue it or something because it's flapping and I have worn these maybe 10 times. I hope there's something you can do a bout this. I will send pictures if I need to.

This is a good-looking, lightweight shoe. The weight may be a bonus for some, but for me it does not supply the support needed for 12 hour shifts. Also, it runs about a half-size too small.

These shoes are great. Very lightweight, feels like you are running with socks on, but just enough cushion to keep the knees from jarring too much. A few reviewers said they felt small rocks through the bottom of the shoes, I really don’t think so, unless you have VERY sensitive feet. The cushion is adequate. Also, these shoes definitely feel a half size smaller. All other shoes I wear 11.5 and these are definitely 12.

Light and comfortable off-road. My trail has some areas of asphalt/concrete. On these areas, the shoe is a little hard on the feet. Overall a good shoe for running.

Great shoes -
These shoes are awesome - lightweight, comfortable, supportive, good-looking. These are great running shoes, especially being featherweight, but they're all-purpose. I've used them for running, walking, racquetball, biking, and they're always comfortable. I also never thought it was possible for athletic shoes to be “stylish”, but these are. Low-profile enough to wear with jeans and look great, so you can wear them as casual shoes, too. Good if you have to be on your feet all day or walk a lot. I highly recommend. Get a half-size up though.
