Excellent jazz shoe but not for tap - I thought this was a tap shoe, but due to the suede sole, you cannot add taps. The wide width is true. I ended up using these for my daughter's dress shoes. She says they are very comfortable.

Happy Feet!
My granddaughter is using this shoe for ballroom dancing class. Although it may not be a ballroom shoe, it is working great for her because of the smooth cloth bottoms. This shoe has a good heal height; not flat, but not too high. I think it runs a little big in the size. My granddaughter wears anywhere from a girl’s 131/2 to a 2. I bought her the size 1 and it is a little big, but a 131/2 would have been too small.

These shoes are great for my four year old. She loves them. The bottom of the shoe was very slippery on tile at first, but other than that they fit well, they look great, and she feels very grown up wearing them!!!
