My only problem is that the front straps are a bit tight across my foot. I do believe that pregnancy and years of wearing Birkenstock have widened my feet just a bit. It's my hope that the straps will stretch a bit with wear. If they don't, I won't be able to wear them, but if they do I think they'll be my new favorite sandal! I have the black/lupine, with really pretty black/purple straps.

My first Keen shoes won't be my last!
After several friends recommended Keen shoes, I decided to bypass Teva and give these a try. Most comfortable footbed ever! My only complaint about the Catalina is that the straps over the toes cannot be adjusted. My feet are thin, so tighter webbing over the toes would make these a bit less floppy on my foot. But overall, they are just what I was looking for -- great comfort with a bit of flashy style! And water-friendly, too!

Awesome all-around sandal!
I bought these sandals for a 10 day trip to Williamsburg/Washington DC where I knew I would be walking a lot. They did not disappoint! These sandals were extremely comfortable from day 1. I also vowed that I would keep them clean, i.e. no hiking, no camping, etc. which is kind of difficult in Montana. All was going well until I left straight from work for a camping weekend! By the end of the weekend the straps were a dark brown, thanks in part to a little guy in our group who dumped a shovel full of dirt on my foot! Oh well, a little dismayed I figured I would try and wash them first and if they didn't come clean, just buy another pair and try harder. With a little soap and warm water they look just they did straight out of the box and they dried in no time! These have been the best sandals I have ever bought and will probably buy the blue ones!

I bought my first pair of these (yellow) a couple of years ago and loved them I have worn the soles smooth and they fit my wide feet perfectly. I have walked long distances in them with out them hurting my feet. So I bought a pair of purple ones. These were a little different. The straps were a little thinner and I could feel the bumps on the bottom but I have broken them in since and they are fine. I am a huge Keen fan and have too styles to list. For my wide feet Keen are just right.

This sandal is comfortable from the moment you put it on. It is great for walking, beaches, and most activities. I hope Keen will continue to make more of this type of open toe sandals.

Good Country Walker -
After wearing these for a month I have found them to be a bit wide in the toe area, perfect in the heal, great to wash out the dirt and rocks while still on, however not great for rock climbing and not protective enough in the toe area to keep sticks and brush out. I'm still very happy with my purchase. My 88 year old neighbor wants a pair now.

Great casual summer sandal, though not quite as good for hours of walking as the toe-covered Keen sandals. I have gotten a few compliments on these - As always people want to know about the Keens. I really like the "quick-release" strap feature.

Catalinas ROCK!
These are the BEST sandals for daily on-the-go activities. SO COMFORTABLE! I put them on and walked my dogs immediately... no problems. I am on my feet all day with kids and dogs, so I needed something that didn't slip off, but kept my feet cool. I ordered a 1/2 size larger only because I like them loose fitting like my Birkies. BUY THESE SANDALS, your feet will thank you!

Fantastic!
Like all other Keen shoes, these are extremely comfortable. Took no time to break-in - felt perfect right out of the box. I put these on for the first time and went walking for several miles - no blisters! So far I've walked all over town, hiked several miles off-road, worn them in 120 degree temps, and taken them into a river - they still look like new!

Great shoe.
Very comfortable shoe and more attractive than many of this type of sandal. I can wear them all day and my feet feel wonderful. Easy to clean.

Keens Catalina sandal -
This shoe is very comfortable, good arch support. I would have preferred it in a black webbing vs. the bright colors available. Once the velcro straps were in place, I can now just insert my foot in the shoes and take off. I did find the toe pads inside the foot of the right sandal sticky at first but this has since disappeared. I will try the Keen brand again based on this shoe.

Love my Keens!!! This is my 8th pair of Keen shoes. Every pair, sandals or shoes, fits perfectly right out of the box. The footbed is so fabulous that I can wear them all day comfortably. I took them on my recent trip to Disneyworld and I was the only person in our group that didn't have sore feet or legs. These are the best shoes ever created. I look forward to my next pair!

Great pair of sandals -
I wear these sandals walking my dog 3 miles every day and they are the most comfortable sandal I've ever owned giving me the support I need. Keen shoes are great and I would not hesitate to buy multiple pairs...They fit true to size and give me ample support walking. I have an average size 7 foot, not too narrow, not too wide if this helps. Zappos is also great; these shoes were on my doorstep the day after I placed the order.

Great Shoe!
These are the most comfortable sandals. I came home tired and footsore to find the Zappos box, and immediately put them on. I walked around in them all day the next day and got one tiny blister. My foot was already tender though, and I got blisters the first time I wore my Teva’s in the summer too. I felt like they were broken in after walking for 5 minutes.

Really comfy -
Great for walking around. I washed them and came out great. I love the yellow, it goes with every thing. Not as bright as it looks. I bought the red too. Cute but bright. More an orange/red color. Easy to get on and off if you have a really narrow foot could be wide for you.

I bought these for a trip I'm taking to Australia, where I expect to do a lot of walking in some pretty high temps. These are the best looking sport-sandal I could find, and I looked at a bunch of different brands (I have the turquoise color). I am hoping that the other reviews (especially the one about Disney World) are accurate and that these are comfortable for walking, because when I walk around the house with them, the ankle strap sort of rubs my foot on the front. Also, the footbed is not as soft and/or spongy as I thought it would be. It's more like hard plastic. I do love the colors though, and if you want a stylish yet sporty sandal, this is probably your best bet.

5 stars isn't enough for this shoe -
I am a huge Keens fan-I have had back surgery and the quality of my shoes and their cushioning is critical. I put these on today, wore them all day for work, and I felt like I'd been walking barefoot. The insole has an impact absorbing material that is extraordinary. I am often worried about shoes with fixed toe straps, because they're often too narrow, but these are perfect, and the adjustments on the back make it almost impossible for these not to fit right. I figure these to be my all day shoes for my next Disney trip.

Front straps too loose -
This shoe was the right size but the front straps were too loose, and that made the sandal uncomfortable. Otherwise would have been exactly what I needed.

Great shoe!
I have a lot of difficulty finding sandals to walk around in due to foot width and low arches. I've been looking for years for a travel show with grip that could get wet, worn in hot weather, etc. after years of trying on shoes - THIS WAS THE ONE! Great fit, comfortable. I wore band aids the first few days on back of heel since I didn’t have time to wear them at all before I left for vacation. Great grip, able to walk through floods in Asia and city-wear too. So happy I bought these!

Cool and Comfy!
My partner bought a pair of these while in Colorado this summer...and has raved about them ever since. I bought my pair for an upcoming trip to Maui..thinking I would need time to break them in...didn't need to! These have been cool and comfy from the very minute I slipped them on. Fantastic! Used these for fishing on the beach -- almost perfect! My feet stayed cool, the sand washed out, they were comfortable, and the salt water didn't fade the color. I wore them on all day walking tour of an historic fort and my feet felt great. The only downfall I've found so far is when I fish on a beach that has lots of tiny shell pieces in the sand; they seem to get wedged in the crevices of the foot-bed. I have to take some time to dig them out before I wear them again, but it's not too bad.

I've wanted a Teva-like sandal, but somehow they always seemed too narrow, too plain, or had seams or straps that bothered my foot in one place or another. These felt great right out of the box and I wore them all over the Orlando Fla. theme parks in 90+ heat, and never had a problem with them for one second. And they look a little bit feminine too compared to other Tevas or even other Keens.
I thought I'd have a problem with the strap across my right heel because I could "feel" it there, but I never had a problem with it when I was walking, no blisters, nothing.
Dried fast when they got wet on water-rides.

The best summer shoes ever!!!
These are so comfy right out of the box! And sooo beautiful! They are true to size, not like the other Keen I have; I did not have to go half size up. Great shoes.
