I was excited that they actually fit my big calves, which I have a hard time finding boots that fit. They are very smooth too touch. However like many other reviewers I couldn't get over the slouch of the boot, it is the only reason I'm sending them back. I say order them and see for yourself, that’s what I’ve done too bad these boots didn’t work out for me. I feel for the money these boots are great.

Slouchy -
I loved these boots... until I put them on. They were very comfortable and very easy to just slip on, which is a rarity in a non-zipped boot in my opinion, but once they were up... they just slouched up around my ankle. Both my husband and I agreed it just made the boot look cheap. If the whole shaft had slouched, it could be pulled off, but not just the ankle. Too bad!

Great value!
I needed some boots for a trip to NY and liked the looks and price of this pair. Unfortunately the regular width was sold out. I gambled and ordered the wide - which was fine once I put in a shoe insert. These boots are best for skinny legs. I would definitely recommend these.

Great Boots -
I love these boots!! I always have trouble with the width of shoes so I bought these in the wide width. They were so comfortable. The only drawback is that they really don’t look good with anything other than pants. They are so soft that they slouch a lot at the ankle which doesn’t look very neat. I wore them with pants that covered the sagging so I was very happy. A great purchase otherwise!!

Great boots for the money.
Although these are not real leather they are attractive and comfortable. For everyday work wear they are affordable enough to replace when they appear worn. I bought another pair for next Fall and Winter just in case they are no longer offered then. The originals are certainly still serviceable and look as good as new, but I wanted a replacement just in case.

These boots are the most comfortable boots and they look absolutely gorgeous. I had a black pair and they looked great and felt wonderful on that I just had to buy a brown pair. You won't be disappointed in these shoes...

Great boots & company!
These boots are awesome! They do slouch a little but I'm glad they fit my BIG calves ;0) I would highly recommend these to anyone. I ordered them at 9 or 10 pm at night and the next day they were there! Zappos Rocks!

Disappointed -
I got my boots today and they are being returned tomorrow. They are cute and I was excited about the fact they actually fit my size 16 calf. However, I wore them around the house and noticed they slouch badly at the ankle which makes them very sloppy looking (which is why I am returning them). I was hoping for a cleaner line. Too bad I really like them. For the short time I wore them I can tell you they are very comfortable and I could see how they could be worn for hours without pain to your feet.

First time customer -
I wasn't aware that the boots didn't have a zipper and was worried about being able to use them. However, I was so pleased with the quality of the boot AND the quality of service, that I'm returning a store bought zippered pair to purchase another pair of these in brown from Zappos. They do scrunch a bit at the base, but in the big picture, it's hardly noticeable and not a big issue.

These boots take a little time to break-in, but this is my second purchase. The first pair lasted about a year (and I wore them on an almost daily basis). It's a little more than I like to spend, but worth it. Great boot, wish they weren't so hard to find. Quick shipping!

These boots are cute and fun, I bought both in brown and red. I have very large calves (a plus sized former cheerleader). They stay up, and accommodate orthotics. Very plain boot for wear with skirts and short gaucho pants. These are a staple of everyone's wardrobe now, so no need to sell too hard, but I like them. Haven’t worn them outside yet, so who knows, after I buy the cute skirt to wear them with I will write again!!!

I needed a shoe that was comfortable for me to walk in the city everyday and these boots are perfect. They fit my calves well too - definitely for skinny legs. Plus with the heel being so sturdy I feel very secure with every step.

This boot fits really well. The narrow width is actually narrow, and the boot shaft is also great for a narrow calf. I agree with some of the other reviews, though, as to the boot shaft. It falls down into the base of the boot and looks a little sloppy. I wore them with tights and a skirt and got lots of compliments, so I'm thinking (or just pretending) it's not as noticeable from the side. I thought about returning them, but decided against it because I love the fit. Zappos' service was excellent, as always.

I have a hard time with boots because my calves are a little larger. The zip boots are always tight, but the wide boots are always loose. These snug up comfortably around the calf. A nice boot.

I was having a hard time finding boots to fit my small calves, ladies if you have smaller than average calves, this is the boot for you! It’s true to size, a great look; in fact I bought them in both colors available.

Once I ordered a half size larger, I loved this boot. I have an E width with a high arch so I'm a tough fit. I'm glad that Zappos was able to fit me in a fashion boot!

I took these boots to a shoemaker and he was able to put leather soles for dancing on them. I think they are wonderful and I am so glad to find narrow boots.

Great looking boot but not my size -
I love the look of this boot; unfortunately, they no longer had narrows in my size. I tried it anyway in medium width but it was too sloppy feeling so I returned it. Zappos was amazing- I placed my order at 11pm and by 9:30am the next day, I had the boots!

 |  | A while back, I saw a feature story about your company on a TV news magazine show. I had never heard of your organization, but the story was awesome! A company of SHOES that people loved to deal with and work for. Very inspiring and very cool. In my fashion and glamour circle (I write, review, and blog about skin care and cosmetics), I began inquiring if anyone had dealt with you in the past. My one associate raved about your products and services and said it was THE only place she could find this one pair of shoes she loved. When I told her about the news show I saw and your "core values" she too was inspired. Fast forward to this weekend, when a sudden online shopping craving overtook me. Bought my monthly fix of lip gloss...check. Took advantage of the latest fall jeans and sweater deals...check. Stocked up on seasonal scents of scrubs and lotions...check. So what was left? Yup. Shoes. Even though I try to run with the times, I'll admit I generally hate shoe shopping. Nothing ever seems to be completely comfortable, the heels all seem too tall (I'm already 5'10"!), and the selections in the stores around me are either too blah or too "You wouldn't catch me dead in them." I have very few shoes in my closet, and almost all are black. But with fall quickly approaching, I needed something new and "in."
After looking at big department store web sites, I decided to take the style I was looking for (the hottest new shoe-boot casuals) and search your web site. I loved being able to sort by color, heel height, style and size. I could compare features and prices with only a couple of clicks. I was able to not just find the exact shoe I was looking for, but was also able to find it in a brand that I had bought in the past (and loved)! Shipping was uber fast, and they arrived today! Although they fit perfect (yeay!) I really wasn't worried if they didn't because your return policy is unsurpassed and not to be stressed by anyone! So, I'll say thank you again for an awesome service, an awesome site, and an awesome shopping experience. My husband, who now realizes the girl who wasn't excited about shopping for shoes before now is (and whose credit card realizes this as well) isn't as happy.
