Great look; fits small!
I usually get a size 11, sometimes a 10.5, but these I had to go down to 10 before they fit right. Even then, I think there's a big difference between 10 and 10.5, but not too bad. I hope they wear in eventually; I think they should at least wear in better than Chuck Taylors though. Overall I'm happy with them and especially happy Zappos does free exchanges/returns with super fast shipping. It makes not getting the right size not such a downer!

First of all this shoe is awesome, I’m glad I decided to go with the velcro because it's exactly what I was hoping for. I usually wear about an eleven in men's shoes but heard that they ran larger, so I ordered a 10.5. The shoe was quite large for me so I sent it back for a 10 and was much happier with it (and VERY pleased with Zappos customer service). The only two complaints I have are that A: the shoes don't dry very quickly after they have gotten wet and B: there is virtually no ankle support (although you can pretty much see that in the pictures). But outside of like working out or distance running, I’d recommend them for any other kind of use.

Super cute, but pretty uncomfortable -
These shoes are great since it is incredibly difficult to find shoes that are both vegan and with style.
Alas, they are very good looking, but I have had them for a year + and am still working on breaking them in. It took a while before I could wear them regularly.

Looks can be deceiving -
I ordered these a bit back and was a lil disappointed by what I got. They look great, but there weren't visible pin-stripes as were on the picture. Also, there are these circle designs on the outside. Makes me think I got a different design, but nope these are the ones I ordered. Also, while they look great, the heel has a sharp point that grinds into my foot. It’s only a flesh wound, but it broke skin even with socks on.

Very Cool Shoes!
My son loves these shoes - he has narrow feet and these are a great fit as well as looking very cool!

Wow, theses are comfy, nice shoes. Feel like Chucks in the protection. Loved the style; very cool shoes, a little big, not the exact size.

Cute as hell but...
I bought these shoes and LOVE the way they look but I do have to admit, they show wear really quick, starting to separate from the sole and whatnot.

Good shoes!
I was a little worried about these shoes, not about the style or comfort but more about the overall lasting wear and tear. So far these shoes have been excellent comfort wise. I read a review or two before purchasing, they read that they wear easy and become worn out a little too quickly in other words are made with real weak quality. Keeping in mind the difference in quality due to products used to make the shoe I have been surprised at the high level of comfort and real overall wear of the shoe, I’ve had no problems and I wouldn't be surprised if they lasted for quite a while, I would purchase another pair.

My son has the brown plaid pair and LOVES these shoes! He has gotten many compliments on them from friends and classmates. I do want to note that the sole is not heavily padded. I would compare the padding to a Converse "Chuck Taylor" shoe.

Cool looking shoes that don’t last very long -
So I have only had the Macbeths 2 weeks. I really like how these shoes feel and look, but they are already having wear and tear. One of my soles has started to separate where it was glued to the canvas and the black plastic covering the hole the velcro pulls through has already chipped.
Overall I am really happy with how they look and fit, but I probably won’t buy them again. BUMMER!
