Great Boot!!
I love this boot! Today is the first cold day we've had so I wore them for the first time. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and they kept my feet warm. I was looking for a weatherproof boot to take with me on a two week trip in which we will encounter cold and quite possibly rain. And we'll be walking quite a bit. I am certain that this will fit the bill. It is very true to size. I am a size 11. Definitely worth every penny.

Love this waterproof boot!
I was looking for a stylish waterproof boot for my daughter who will be going to college in Northern California. Not easy to find in Southern California where it never rains! I ordered these boots, Zappos upgraded my shipping, and they arrived the next day! My daughter loves the way they look and fit and I feel good knowing that she'll have dry feet at college. This is my second pair of Ara boots. The first was a different style. Both are as wonderful and comfortable as you'd expect. Great, attractive boot that is completely maintenance free.

Love it!
This boot doesn't really need yet another fantastic review, but since I rely so heavily on customer reviews when deciding what to order, I feel obligated. It's comfortable, beautiful and waterproof. The first time I wore it, I wore it all day and that included walking about a mile around town. Extremely comfortable. And the bonus for me (size 10.5) is that it fits absolutely perfectly.

Exceeded my expectations...
Ordered with the expectation of returning as I had just ordered and received another pair that I loved (ara Portofino). Loved too much to return, so now I have 2 ara boots. Love that they are waterproof and that the sole has a tread as I am in sales and walking in all kinds of weather and on all kinds of surfaces. The heel is a tad higher than expected, but is still comfortable.

Great boot -
This boot is comfortable, and I don't usually wear any kind of heel. The toe box is great, very comfortable for those of us with a second toe longer than the big toe. The fabric is flexible without bulging, so it accommodates the width of my foot nicely *and* I can flex my ankle any which way without being restricted. The fabric is easy to brush dirt off of, so it retains its nice black matte finish regardless of the weather. I started wearing these boots right away, as soon as I got them, I have been more satisfied than with most of the shoes I've gotten in my lifetime.

The perfect boot!
Bought this boot for a trip to London. It was the only shoe I needed to wear! Warm, very comfortable walking shoe... then it doubled as a dressy-enough night shoe with a pair of black pants for dinner. Perfect!

ara's Paris short boot -
The boot has a terrific feel and fit. The boot itself is light weight, comfortable and flexible. I would highly recommend this all weather boot. It look so good on, no one would suspect this is a sturdy warm winter boot.

Great Rain Boot -
I have owned these for two years and they are still completely waterproof and look perfect. I highly recommend these for rainy weather because they have great traction, are completely waterproof, breath well, and dry quickly when you go inside. I have worn these all day going outside and inside throughout the day, and never feel like I need to change out of bad weather boots and into shoes. The heel is very stable, yet high enough to look good under pants and jeans. They look very tailored and don't really appear to be rain boots. The Gore-Tex outer fabric on these boots doesn't show wear at all (unlike other brands I have owned that wore out faster). I added a gel insole, and it much improved the comfort level for all day wear. I highly recommend these for rain and sleet (they are not warm enough for snow and winter). Zappos is the best for service, selection, and easy website!

Overall great weatherproof boot -
I found that this boot was more comfortable than I thought it would be! I have a hard time finding a boot that doesn't pitch my foot in a way that throws too much weight on my toes! I wore it recently in New York City during rainy, icy, sometimes snowy conditions. Given the amount of walking I did, I was amazed at how comfortable it was and that it kept my feet dry and warm!

Not waterproof for long -
These boots were great for about a month. But after wearing them a few times in the rain, they were no longer waterproof. They are not bad looking, but you can definitely find more stylish non-waterproof shoes.

A STYLISH BOOT THAT FEELS LIKE A SLIPPER!
I have never purchased Ara before, and I am so happy I gave them a try! Wow...I purchased the Paris in Brown, and just ordered another pair in brown in case the first pair wear out as I wear them EVERY DAY!!! They are so stylish, comfy, waterproof, just every single thing you would want in a shoe/boot! You will not regret it...I turned another friend on to these as well, and she is IN LOVE with them.

Love these boots!
I have these in black and in brown and they are fabulous! The Gore-Tex keeps my feet dry and warm during the winter and cool in the spring. They are perfect to wear with jeans or even with slacks for work. My only complaint is in one shoe on the inside the stitching has unraveled a little. Not enough to make the shoe unwearable, but it happened fairly soon after getting them.

Boots for Acqualta -
Bought these boots because of the Gore-Tex, kept them because of the fit. Wanting to keep my dream-come-true Christmas in Venice from becoming a nightmare, I bought these boots. From the minute I put them on; I knew they were "keepers." They fit like a comfortable glove, keep my feet happy for hours of walking, and are on their way to glorious Italy. Ara Paris boots are worth every penny!
I bought these in black during a rainy stay in Washington DC. I liked them so much; I just ordered another pair in brown. They are comfortable, stylish and totally waterproof. What's not to love?

Love these boots!
So far these have been my favorite Zappos purchase. I wanted some boots for winter that looked good but were practical. These are the MOST comfortable boots I have ever had and they look great too. I can wear them dressy or with jeans and they fit like a glove, a comfortable one! I can walk all day in them. And, they are waterproof!
