Shoe Size: Felt a full size smaller than marked

Nice (but not comfy) dressy boy's shoe -
I ordered these shoes for my 10-year old son who normally wears a size 4 1/2 to 5. He couldn't even get his feet in the size 5 with these shoes. We went 2 whole sizes up (I always buy dressy shoes a bit larger then his current size) and they fit fine, but they are very hard and rigid and not at all comfortable. He can tolerate them for dressy occasions and church but they are not very comfortable for longer wear. They do look good though.

 |  | We were having problems finding shoes for my son recently for a new job he was starting. When I placed the order, I forgot to choose express shipping and so I called to add that to my order. The person I spoke with was so great, she upgraded the shipping at no cost and said if these didn't work to call back and they'd get another pair to us before the deadline. Fortunately, the shoes fit perfectly and he looked great for his new job. I have experienced this great service before and will continue to order from your company.
