Son is Very Happy -
My son had one request for a birthday present. Circa sneakers. You could only purchase them online because local stores didn't carry the brand. Was very reluctant to buy shows online, if they didn't fit? How do the sizes run? After asking a few questions with someone at Zappos during an online chat, I went ahead and placed an order. They were waiting for us the next day. I was very happy to see they fit exactly the way they said they would. Excellent service.

My son loves them.
My 10 year son has been shopping for his shoes online for a year now. He gets the shoes he wants the next day. He is thrilled. This shoe was just as he expected.

These shoes are good for any skater kid. I landed my first kickflip down a 3 step with these. Might not hold up well but still great.

1\2 sizes -
Shoes should come in 1\2 sizes. My son wears a 12 and I wanted a 12 1\2, but I ended up getting a 13, so they are a little big. But they will do and last him for awhile.

These shoes hold up well and are a good price. The material doesn't scuff up or rub off easily like on a lot of other shoes. My son is always happy with Circas.

Looks better than it feels -
We gave our 9 yr old son these shoes for his birthday--he has been wanting them for a long time. He really likes them but the strap that goes across the top has rubbed his skin raw at the top of his foot. He likes to wear short socks and can't with these shoes.

These shoes are best for beginners- I got them when I had been skating for about four months. They seemed great (I was skating "Heeley" before that) until I started trying my friend’s shoes, which were noticeably better, I started skating circa allies and I’m much happier with those. If you get these, don’t get the black/white/cracked.

Looked good. Shoe strings are way too long, had to cut them off! Hard for my 4 year old to get on by himself for some reason. He seems to like them though!

These shoes are good shoes. They are hard to get on because of the strap though. These shoes are good for kids who are just beginning skateboarding; they definitely are not good for pro's.

Love the Skate shoes!
This is a great shoe for the aspiring skater in your life. My son just loves this shoe(second pair!) It is wide and easy to put on and off. Durable and sturdy. My son has orthotics for foot correction and these work wonderful together!

My son got the black w/ white shoes. He absolutely loves them and they seem to wipe clean easily and are a good tough pair of skate shoes.

Maybe not so great for the young ones.
My older son had these so of course his younger brother who adores him wanted them too. Unfortunately I don't believe that they are a great choice for smaller kids because they are quite heavy and bulky for a smaller foot. The laces were way too long and we tried lacing all types of ways so we ended up shortening them ...and we used only one color. I can't even imagine using the two colors as is shown and how he wanted. The tongue is quite bulky as I expected since that is the way these are made but once again for a small foot it may not be the best choice. The most frustrating thing that I found about these is that the velcro strap on the top is too long, it seems as though it is the same length as the one on my older sons shoes except his is a size 15 so it is perfect for his sneaker. All in all my son likes them well enough and he is just happy they are like his brothers. I'll just deal with the rest. I would not buy these again for him.

These were for my 13yr old. He loves them. They fit nice and look nice with his outfits. Very nice shoe/sneaker for the price.

When I called the Zappos customer service line, I was immediately issued the new pair, which arrived AGAIN within two days! That was before I had the chance to even get the first pair in the return post. That's the best customer service I've ever had. Thank you Zappos. You have made a permanent customer out of me!
