Worth the workout to get them on -
After 10 minutes of pulling & stretching, I got the boots on. I ordered my true size and could barely get my heel in... But after my foot was in place, these boots felt a little roomy inside... They look great, though. Order your real size, wear thin nylon socks underneath then you can pull them on.

Better looking than fitting -
It is nearly a full effort workout to get these boots on...they look great but once on are too big in the foot area, but you need the larger size to get your foot in! The leather seems like it would scratch very easily. For the money, get boots that fit!!!

These boots are so cute! I ordered my size and they were definitely hard to get on like the other reviewers said, but once I did get them on they fit perfectly. Perfect for winter in the city!

80s Hip With Classic Twist -
I think I got that other reviewer's pair of 8.5 and they fit like a glove. I'd been eyeing these since I first saw them in early September and thought I'd take a 9, and was able to try them on near where I live in Brooklyn. When the 9s were too big, I used it as an excuse not to buy them-- it was still really warm out and it was hard to justify the purchase. By the time I went back, about a month later (they'd been haunting me), they boutique that carried them had sold out of size 8.5 and 9, so I tried on an 8, which were too small -- then I knew I'd need 8.5 and luckily, Zappos had them in. I love these because they've got that trendy 80s vibe, but also very low key and classic. The flatness of them makes them profoundly comfortable. Very cute with tights and a skirt, or with jeans tucked in. If I were younger, I'd rock them with a little 60s style mini romper shift.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Uggs or Aquatalia for when the weather worsens-- these are really best for fall.

I love these boots but I ordered a half size up (8.5) bc that was what the other reviewers said to do and they are a half size too big and my size sold right away (8) so I am sad!

Definitely order at least a half size bigger!
These are awesome, I am soo in love with the beautiful suede, perfect height and circumference. These are definitely worth every penny. BUT, they are so tight in the ankle that even my very narrow heel couldn't fit through. Another customer review said the same thing - order up to get your foot inside, so I ordered a half size bigger but still couldn't get my foot in there! Thanks to the great Zappos team I got the next size up (a full size bigger than normal) the next day and now I am very happy, I can get my foot inside, and even though there is some room, they still feel great.

Order half size bigger.
There are no zippers on the side, so you might want to get half size bigger, otherwise you won't be able to get your feet into them. But other than that, these boots are lovely. You can wear them with jeans, hot pants, long/mini skirts, tunic or knit dress to create an effortless chic look. Very Kate Moss.
