True to size...if they were men's shoes -
Love Zappos! The boots however are definitely not made true to size. I wear a 9 to 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. I ordered this particular boot in both sizes to see which one fit best. However, the sizing is not true. They both fit at least one and a half sizes too big. Also, the left leg was smaller in circumference than the right. Since I'm right-handed, my dominant right leg should be slightly thicker than the left. So it doesn't make sense for the fit to be off, unless the boots were poorly made. Since the sizing was WAY off and the leg circumference did not match, I am disappointed to say that poorly made is probably the case. They look so hot too! Talk about a bummer...the search continues.

Although this boot clearly has a block heel in the photo, I wasn't prepared for how casual it was when I received it. The leather was average to poor quality, and the heel is extremely high. Overall, the boot isn't very flattering. If you want a dressy, refined, lace-up leather boot, this isn't it.

Very nice appearance of boot with slender leg and beautiful leather. Good arch support and average comfort level for a boot

 |  | Dear Zappos! What can I say?! I'm so pleased. You've gained a new customer! Two weeks ago, we visited a store, ordered these shoes for my son because they were out of stock in the store. After 5 days, I followed up with their customer service and was told it would be another week until shipment. Then another week went by, I called customer service again and was told then that they cancelled my order due to no stock. So frustrated, I searched online for these shoes; your website came up. I was reluctant, but ordered anyway. I placed my order on Thursday 8/28/08 6p.m-ish and these shoes were on my doorstep on Friday 8/29/08 5p.m. Talk about awesome service! My son was so tickled. He really wanted these shoes and was disappointed with the other store. The shoes are exactly as promised, fit nice, and pleasing to my son! You have made us both VERY pleased & very impressed with your online service. No hassle, no delay, and the express shipping was a surprise as well. THANK YOU!
