Perfect boot for skinny ankles, wide feet -
After trying on 20+ pairs of boots, I finally found the perfect combination of modern style and comfort. I have narrow heels, skinny ankles but wide feet & bunions and usually can't wear more than 2" heels. Most boots I tried on bagged around the ankles, but these stay up and fit snugly around ankles & calves. I normally wear between 6.5 & 7, and the 6.5 fit perfectly; snug but not tight, so I expect the leather will stretch enough to accommodate my feet as needed. The brown is a rich dark chocolate, with no reddish undertones. In fact it almost looks black, which is great, because you can wear it with grey; brown & black equally well; very versatile! With its sleek modern styling and no embellishments, it can go dressy yet be casual enough for jeans, even tucked in. I'm sold on Sudini!

My calves measure 13", the circumference of this boot is supposed to be 14" but I could not zip it up. Otherwise it's a beautiful boot.

Comfortable, great for wide feet -
I have wide feet and my husband mistakenly bought me the regular size (non-wide). I was going to exchange for a wide width but I read a review noting that the wide width has a wide calf diameter - which I do not. I've kept the boots and they are really very comfortable - I wear them for 12-14 hours per day, walking around all day, and they are not too tight! The calf fits perfectly for me too - actually more loosely than my nine west boots. If you have wide feet and a wide calf, I'd go with the wide width.

Comfortable yet sexy boot!
Leather is very supple and flexible. I got this in wide width and the width is perfect! My feet didn't hurt at all, and I wore them to walk all around Boston, even on brick and cobblestone they were great. With a good shoe shine, they will repel light rain. The shaft is a bit snug - I think I have average width calves and they were a perfect fit. I like boots that fit pretty snug since I don't tuck in my pants. Thus, the width was wider but not the shaft. I think there is separate wide-shaft boot. The instep (ankle area) was a little too roomy so I added a Dr. Scholl's 3/4 length arch support insole and it was perfect. My feet are only wide in the toe area, but not really anywhere else, so it's tough to find shoes that fit well. But these did the trick!

Beautiful, comfortable. The top of the boot is curved, giving a stylish sexy look. If you're short like me, though, beware of the tall shaft. It rubbed my knee, so regretfully I had to return them. I have tried on many Sudini boots, and they are generally comfortable with good arch support. They are well made, nice leather, great styling.

Great boots!
I originally bought these to wear with skirts to work, and I am very happy with them. Then I recently spent the weekend in New York City - walking A LOT, on and off the subway - and these boots were just what I needed for that, too! They look great and are very comfortable. Also, the sole is not slippery on the ice. I measured around my calf and the length from ankle to knee before ordering and the measurements matched the description.

Very comfortable, even though I have wide feet and high insteps, and the boots were available only in medium, not wide, in my size. Roomy toe box. Best-looking boots I could find on Zappos in this style. Just dressy enough for almost any occasion without being over the top for everyday wear. I expected the top of the calves to be tighter, since mine measure 14-1/2 and these are specified at 14, but they are still just a bit loose when worn without pants. Over jeans they're tight and perfect. Thanks, Sudini, for making a nice boot in large sizes!

Great looking classic boot -
I love the look of this boot. They were rather expensive but I desperately needed to replace my old boots. They are comfortable but not for spending all day on my feet. The heels slip a bit and they could use more cushioning in the ball of the foot. The toe box is quite comfortable. I wear a wide width but you wouldn't know it since they have a great point to the toe.

Fabulous boots!
For me, these boots are just about perfect... love the look, the fit... and they're comfortable even after a long day. I got them in black and was so happy with them that I was thinking about getting the brown, too. But several reviews mentioned that the brown was so dark it looked black, so I decided to look for something different. I have another pair of Sudini boots from several years ago, and they are extremely comfortable also.

Nice looking but not comfortable -
This boot is really nice leather and looks great in the box, unfortunately the fit is very tight and the elastic slits on the sides are rough and tear your tight or hosiery. This may be just one pair and the others may be great.

These boots are a little too matronly for me. Not as comfortable as others have reported. Still looking for the elusive STYLE & COMFORT.

Not as good as my last pair of Sudinis!
I've owned a pair of Sudinis for 4 years and finally wore them out! I LOVED my old pair. These just didn't live up to my old pair; the leather wasn't as high quality as I expected for a high priced boot, the sole and footbed weren't nearly as comfortable & the fit wasn't nearly as good as my last pair. Very sad. Calves were a fairly good fit, but I felt like it gathered too much at the ankle. Final note: they used to be made in Italy. Now they're made in China! That might account for the quality difference. Plus the toe was a little pointy for me; I felt like a leprechaun!

Sleek, Classic Boot -
The leather seems to be of very good quality. The brown color is dark enough that I wear it with both brown and black outfits. I don't usually wear heels this high, but I can walk well in it (though not for long distances).

I wore these today for the first time, and was amazed that my feet didn't hurt. I have a wide foot and hammer toes, and my podiatrist would just KILL me if he saw me in these boots! I never wear heels over 2'', and nor pointy toes, but these felt fine. My husband, who never notices my shoes, told me I had to keep them, even if I could only wear them out to dinner!

Beautiful, gorgeous, sleek boot! Not too pointy-toed, but not cowboy-boot toe either...Goes with ANYTHING. Caution - personally I did not find walking distances in the boot very comfortable, but they did get more comfortable after the first wear, thank goodness.

Finally a boot I can wear with skirts -
I have these boots in the brown, 11.5M. I'm an EU 43 with duck-shaped feet (narrow heels & wide at the toes). These fit me perfectly in the foot and the heel is well balanced and easy to walk in. In the 11.5 the calf is a little under 17" tall from the arch and 15.5" around at the widest part. Most boots (Clarks, Borns, Anne Klein, La Canadienne etc) are far too wide on my legs. These are a bit wide but are much narrower than average and are stiff enough to stay up nicely so I finally have a pair of boots I can wear with skirts (yay!). The leather is better than most in this price range and of a very fine grain making them quite dressy. I will wear them with wool and finer wale corduroy skirts, mostly to work. The brown is a cooler milk-chocolate color that goes particularly well with grays and burgundys, not so much with russets and golds.
I definitely recommend these if you're looking for a reasonably priced, well made, dressy boot that you can wear all day long. I will likely purchase Sudini's in black this winter too.
Finally, props to Sudini for making an 11.5. I usually have to buy shoes that are a half size too big or too small but these are perfect!

Great Boot!
I tried several less expensive styles but this one turned out to be the most comfortable and best looking. It is a very dark shade of brown leather - very "rich" looking. It fits my calf perfectly. I did spend a few days wearing them around the house with thick socks just so the first time I wore them out wouldn't feel like the first time!

Good Basic boot -
I am looking for a size 8.5 boot with excellent arch support so I can go all day. These didn't quite satisfy that on first trial. The boot came right under the knee and made my legs look long on my 5'5" frame. The leather appearance is not too shiny and is somewhat soft, though not as rich in color as I want for a high priced boot. Good wiggle room in the toe box. No bagging at the ankle. My 16" calves were too fat for them, even with the gore stretch. I misread the shaft for the circumference measurement-duh. Back they go. Will keep trying, love Zappos.

Great fitting boot -
These fit perfectly out of the box- the heel feels much lower than it is- very easy to walk in. Very comfortable fit and excellent quality leather. The chocolate is so dark it looks almost black- otherwise, I would have kept these for sure.

I have never worn a more comfortable dress boot. I usually am in my dress clothes for long hours and these boots made it so much more comfortable.

Great boot but not as narrow as expected -
This is a beautiful boot, much more comfortable than I expected. I ordered a narrow but still needed to use an insert because the fit was a bit sloppy.
