Stylish Boot -
I love this boot. Very stylish and comfortable too. They did not have the size 10 which I is what I would normally order but I decided to try the 9 1/2 since I can usually get away with a half size smaller in a boot. The boots are very comfortable - I just won't be able to wear a thick sock. However, they are extremely stylish and make my size 10s look almost dainty. They are pricey, but La Canadienne makes quality shoes and I just couldn't pass up the sale price.

Stealthy!
These shoes are as comfortable as slippers, and yet are storm proof and solidly constructed. How does La Canadienne do it? I've tested these in the Pacific Norwest wet and snow and they passed with flying colors. A big thumbs up to Zappos as well for their continued great service!

Snap these up!
I dithered for months over these - loved the look, really can't afford the price. After slogging home from work one too many times in my so-called rain boots, I broke down and ordered them. It was that or cheap, heavy, rubber clunkers. I so wish I'd gotten these sooner! They are incredibly comfortable, and absolutely beautiful. My normal size would be good with hose, I'm keeping the half size up so I can wear socks as I'm sure they'll stretch out a bit. I normally wear a shoe for a couple weeks before I review it, but these are going fast - buy them now!

The best!!!
Being a size 11, it is hard for me to find comfortable shoes & boots of all kinds. These live up to every expectation one can have for a pair of boots: Looks, comfort, well-made and sized perfectly. I walk around the city in these for miles without any discomfort. I recommend these boots and this brand to everyone!!

Comfortable and stylish -
A great combination of comfort and style -- just enough heel to look elegant, yet low enough to make walking and standing comfortable. The charcoal color is a sophisticated alternative to black.
In terms of fit, I have a slightly wide foot with a high instep. With thin socks, this shoe fit perfectly out of the box. I expect a bit of stretch in the future will allow me to wear thicker socks.

Love them!
Really, about as perfect as a boot can be. I think La Canadienne has spoiled me for other boot brands, which is unfortunate, as they are also the most expensive shoe I've ever purchased. They are comfy, the heel height is perfect, they're beautiful, and they are indeed waterproof--I've already taken them through puddles. I've also gotten numerous compliments on them. I'm usually a 7 or 7.5 and I was glad I got the 7.5. Thanks, Zappos!

Stylish ankle boot -
At last a boot that's truly designed around the shape of a foot and yet stylish and comfortable - hard to find that combination. I take a size 11 and need good toe room - this boot gives me that and yet doesn't make me look like Big Foot :~)

Gorgeous boot that's super-comfortable.
These ran true to size for me (7.5 B) and fit perfectly with regular non-athletic/bulky socks. I think I could almost wear these to run in they're that comfortable. The chocolate suede is a lovely shade and these are extremely well made. These are worth every cent I paid for them.

No regrets -
I've never spent this much on a shoe, but I have no regrets. They have absolutely everything--style, comfort, the quality is phenomenal--warmth and waterproof, too. I live in NYC, and the first time I wore them I walked 4 miles, absolutely nothing but comfort and compliments the entire time!

Cute "little" boot -
I usually don't like spending past the $150 mark when purchasing shoes. This rule flew out the window since I've discovered Zappos. I would not hold onto these unless I loved them, and love them I do. I wear an 11, and when I wear these, my feet look smaller. Also, the green is fun and unusual; the shape of the boot is old-fashioned and cool. They are very warm, so I'll want to wait for the cooler temps to hit before I wear these for an extended period of time.
Thank you again Zappos!

Excellent winter boot -
This is a comfortable, warm, and nice looking boot. I have worn them all winter! They are warm, so for a person who lives in a slightly warmer locale, they might be limited to only the colder days.

Great Boot!
I was looking for an every day boot for winter that could replace yucky annoying ugly winter boots and these are the perfect solution. Very warm and comfortable. They go with about everything...I have walked all day in them and have been very comfortable. Love LOVE this shoe!

This is an excellent boot. It is very comfortable and looks great. The low heel makes it wearable, yet remains feminine. I recommend ordering a half size larger than you normally wear unless you have a narrow foot.

I purchased these boots because of look, and then read the reviews. I love them. They fir great and are warm with a little heavier sock. The size is true and very stylish with boot leg pants.

Talar -
Very good looking, very comfy. I found that it ran a half size smaller. I'm 10.5 and I ordered an 11.

Greatest boots on earth -
These are the most beautiful little boots I have ever worn... and I have worn a few. They are super stylish and sexy; with a stealthy comfort/weatherproofing aspect for the modern woman. The tobacco color is very hip & looks great with black. The toes are rounded -- not pointy, not square. These shoes are LIGHT and so well-balanced they make me feel light on my feet. That's one of my favorite things about them -- winter boots are usually heavy. The Italian design is evident in their perfect fit, close but not snug or tight. I wore them on a 19-degree day and was perfectly comfy, though they are not *quite* as warm through the toes as my other La Canadienne boots, which are leather with a thick rubber sole. I did buy 1/2 size larger than my usual size (7 instead of 6 1/2), & these fit like a dream. If you intend to wear them with thicker socks or insoles, consider getting 1 1/2 size larger than youre usual. Despite the price I love them so much I am considering buying a second pair in black and throwing out all my other shoes...

Very cute and comfortable -
This is a very nice boot, true to size. Great heel height for those that can't do higher than 2 inches (which is me). Have not tested the waterproof yet, but I am confident they will be fine given the brand. Another plus is they make your foot look small. I wear a 9.5 and my feet look like an 8 in these.

Handsome and comfortable -
This is an excellent boot that is actually shaped like my foot. I've worn it for a couple of weeks and had no sliding, blisters, or any discomfort at all. The ankle is snug enough to hold the foot securely and the style is simple and versatile. The heel is well placed and not too high, and the suede IS really waterproof.
I was concerned that the fleece lining would be too warm for my California climate, but it's quite comfortable.

Another Winner from La Canadienne -
I really love these boots. Very comfortable and great looking. I bought the olive suede, and the color is beautiful. This is my 3rd pair of La Canadienne boots and I have never been disappointed. I also love that they are waterproof and have nonslip soles. They do run small, however, so I would advise ordering a half size larger than you normally wear. Thank goodness La Canadienne makes their shoes/boots in a 10.5, which is rare.

Best All Around -
Worth the price. Comfort is number one -- love the roomy toe box. Stylish but not too dressy for leggings. I really didn't want suede but loved the olive color (so hard to find) and was a little concerned about the fleece lining being too warm for San Francisco, but so far this is the best all around boot I have ever worn. If I had to choose one pair of footwear for travel in winter it would be these.

Easy to wear and beautiful...
I get so many compliments on these boots! First of all, they are gorgeous--La Canadienne uses wonderful material and they are put together well. Plus they're incredibly comfortable--the heel is only 1.5 inches and the sole is rubber, with traction, so they are comfortable for a full day of wear. I am a 9 and ordered a 9.5 because they were out of my size, and it fits beautifully.

Great versatile stylish boot. I wear these boots with jeans and trousers. The low heel is feminine and just as comfortable as my Dansko clogs but look so much better. This is my second pair of boots from La Canadienne and I want more. They make winters in Maine less harsh. Three cheers for size 10 1/2", I hope other manufacturers take notice.

 | | This is a personal note of thanks for your fast, efficient, service with an order I placed on 9/1 for my granddaughter's birthday on 9/2. I never expected her to receive it until some time this upcoming week and they called to say it was there on 9/2. All too often in this day and age, praise isn't given where it should be. Thank you so much for your fine service. Zappos has served me well more than once this year. Look forward to doing future business with you. Have a nice day.
