Sole split -
The sole just split after wearing the boots for 2 weeks!! Perhaps I shouldn't have worn them in the snow...????

Aislinn Boot -
This boot is great looking in the picture and the foot and heel look great in person, but this is definitely a slouch boot, it comes with the whole shaft scrunched down and tied so the boot is in a short boot sized box. That wouldn't be too bad but the color of the leather is strange, it has a grey tinge to it that I'm not sure I like it. I already sent the dark brown back because the grey was streaked and looked defective and I had to order the brown twice because of size. I usually wear a 9 1/ 2 to a 10 so usually I can get away with size 40. Not with this boot it was too tight width-wise. If you have a narrow foot I'd say go ahead and order the lower size. I have a calf measurement of 14 1/2 and these boots pulled up were very tight, I was nervous about the zipper, but if you're going to wear them pushed down they would be fine for fuller calves. I'm still not sure I want to keep this boot, mainly because I don't think the upper part of the boot looks like it's worth the money i paid for them. I have to say this is a hard decision because there is something about this boot that draws you to it.

This boot could have been a keeper if the toe box were wider
not for us C and D width girls, but very stylin.

 | | I just wanted to take the time to tell you that this was the best online retail experience I've ever had! From start to finish, the process was extremely well thought out. The ordering process was as easy as actually being in a brick and mortar store, payment was a breeze, and shipping was unheard of! I ordered two pairs of Globe "The Don" shoes on Tues night around 7pm. The next day I got an email saying my shipping was being upgraded at no charge cuz I'm "super rad" and then on Thurs afternoon, they were on my doorstep! I will tell everyone that asks, and even some who dont, where I got them and how great my experience was. Thanks again, Jeremy C. | | ~ Jeremy C., September 06 2008
