We love these New Balance shoes. My son is 20mths old and has really wide feet. It's hard for me to find affordable shoes that come in extra extra wide. They look just like daddy's New Balance shoes!

Okay -
My baby has wide, chubby feet. We have chosen New Balance before and like them. This style seems to be a little stiffer. The tongue is super stiff and has actually rubbed a sore on my son's ankle.

Hard to find size... found -
My 14 month old son wears a 6 XW and I could not find a name brand tennis shoe anywhere that would fit except here. He has not worn them yet because they are for Easter, but when he tried them on the fit was excellent and he did not want to take them off. The workmanship is what I expect from New Balance. The velcro closure also gives you a little room to work with if their feet get fatter or if they wear thicker socks. I had to return the first pair because I ordered the wrong size, but I had the correct size back the next day. I use Zappos.com quite often for hard to find items especially.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Any shoe carried by the company is a good buy.

This shoe didn't fit my son. I ordered an 8XW but the shoe runs small. I gave it to a friend for her son and bought a pair of Stride Rite 8XW shoes that fit fine.

Big feet -
My toddler has very wide feet. I have not been able to find shoes wide enough, and I finally did! Seems Stride Rite and New Balance are the only brands that carry shoes wide enough for him. These sneakers were $25 LESS than any other shoe I had found.

These are great shoes because they are available in wide width. My son can put these shoes on all by himself because of the wide width. These are the perfect shoes for a busy 2 1/2 year old.

Perfect shoe for my little chunky man!
My son is 12 months and has huge feet at 7 1/2 2W! I thought it would be next to impossible in finding him a good walking shoe, but this is it! Great look (just like Daddy's shoes) and they fit perfectly. Very comfy and holding up great as he crawls.

Shoe straps don't seem to be long enough. It doesn't seem like the shoe fits well over the top of the foot. My son was not comfortable in them right away, but seems to be doing better with them now.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I have had a lot of success with Stride Rite shoes due to the wide widths.

The other sneakers we tried on my grandson had a stiff and heavy sole. These are more flexible for little feet just learning to walk!

I bought these New Balance tennis shoes for my 16 month old Grandson - his foot is very wide - so we have a hard time finding him shoes. We were very satisfied with the over product.

Great shoes and great service -
The shoes from New Balance were great. My son has very wide feet and it is hard to find shoes that are extra wide and look smart. These fitted perfectly and he just runs all day without complaining that they are "tight" And of course with 3 kids under 4 I love Zappos and the convenience of shopping online when everyone is asleep. If I make a mistake because of growing feet, Zappos return policy is fabulous!

Great Show, Wish I had gotten the Extra Wide -
A really great shoe, good support and very durable. However, while it is a little wider than a regular shoe, I wish I had gotten my son the extra wide because the velcro straps only go half way in order to accommodate his foot (which is not that wide).

Handsome little sneaker -
This is the 3rd pair of New Balance Sneakers purchased for my son. He's 2.5 years old but he's big at 38.5 inches and 38 pounds. He wears the XW sneaker and he has NO arch. It fit beautifully in every size purchased. One note; it's probably better to go up one whole size as opposed to 1/2 sizes.

Cute little shoes for big little feet -
A very nice, sturdy sneaker that comes in a hard-to find double-wide size. The hook-and-loop closure makes for easy on and off, much better than a shoe with laces for those "wide" little feet and seems comfortable.

I got these shoes for my one-year old who has very wide feet. They fit well, are easy to put on, and are incredibly cute. Plus, the stable base has really helped my son in his efforts to walk.

I bought these for my almost 17 month old, who has very chubby feet, and always have a problem keeping shoes on, he loves these, he runs to go get them to have me put them on, very roomy for wide feet, and they stay on, I ordered his a size 7 toddler, he is only a 6 1/2 now, but they stay on.

I purchased these shoes for my grandson...twice. They are comfortable for him and tough enough to hold up to his constant activity. I love that they come in extra wide width for his fat feet. Great shoes for any child.

Toddler New Balance Review -
The shoes were of high quality and the fit was great. I needed a wide shoe and this EE width met my needs perfectly. The color contrast of white/navy was attractive. It is always a battle trying to get my two year old nephew to wear a new pair of shoes but that wasn't the case with these. We put them on and he didn't want to take them off!

Great Shoe!! Our little one is very picky on what shoe goes on his feet. The New Balance line with great comfort he will wear all day without any complaints. One nice thing about this line is the choice of widths offered. This shoe is built very rugged and they outlast well after the child has grown out of them!! Love the New Balance line!! Zappos...
