Wow what service!! This is my first time buying on Zappos (and it won't be my last). I ordered the boots Monday morning around 1 am, and Tuesday at lunch time they were at my door ^_^ I am more then ecstatic right now :D
My size was not available in "Goldilocks" so I went for a size 8. I normally wear a 7 1/2 so I thought they might be too big and I would have to send them back, but they fit great. There is even enough room for thick socks if I chose to wear them, and they don't cramp my toes!
The boots are great; they have an antique feel to them. The color is lovely and the little flowers give the boots a girly feel >.< like another reviewer said they look even better in person. :D

very coooooooool boots!
ordered 7:00 at night and received the very next day! the ultimate service is zappos! the boots are right away comfortable and so very cool! I have received many of compliments and I am only wearing them for the first time.

Perfect fit, nice comfort and support. The leather is thinner than any other Dr. Martens that I've had, so they were instantly molded to my feet/ankles. No need to wait for the leather to soften as it’s already soft. My only concern is what to protect them with. The crackle finish seems delicate, but I don't see any mention of that here. So I put waterproof spray on them. They are awesome...funky and feminine! The perfect match. I plan on wearing them on my trip to Ireland!

Dr Martens Goldilocks -
At first I thought this shoe was very uncomfortable, but after a day or two, they seem to break in just fine. The leather is soft and comfortable. For the price, however, I think they could have done a better job with the insole. I took the ones out that came with the boots and bought some heavy duty cushioned insoles. I bought these to wear when riding my scooter and was a bit disappointed that the ankle protection is pretty poor. Yes, they cover your ankles and would provide protection from scrapes, but not much protection from breaks or crushes. I guess you'd need heavy duty work clunkers to get that sort of protection. So it's a great compromise between protection and fashion. They look infinitely better than the Brahma work boots I had been wearing! I wear an 8 1/2 narrow shoe normally and bought the size 8. They fit fine with socks that are not too thick but seemed a bit tight when I put on heavy boot socks. All in all, I'm happy with them.

The boots are awesome! They were here in a day and it was better than shopping at the mall. I use the boots for riding my scooter and I must say they are the most stylish on the road!

Wow!
I had tried original Docs awhile back and had to send them back. I couldn't even wear them for 5 minutes they hurt so bad!
I took the previous advice and got a 7 instead of my usual 7 1/2.
These were wonderful! Much lighter weight and easier to break in. I just wore them around the house for an afternoon and that was it.
I'll probably get another pair but with Zappos, pretty soon I'm going to need to build a separate shoe closet!!

Love my boots, I wear seven and a half and I went down to a seven and they fit perfect. Hope this helps all you half sizes.

I just got these in the mail today, and they are fantastic! I'm a US Women's 10, and they fit true to size. They're extremely cute, comfortable, and practical. I plan on wearing them everywhere! I got "goldilocks", and the shoes look even better in person.

LOVE these boots!
I have been wearing Docs for over twenty years. They are comfortable, durable, and stylish. I am always excited to see new colors and materials applied to the trusty classic 8-eye boot! These pale flower-y boots are fun and pretty! They did feel a half size larger than what I am used to for a UK 6/US 8, but I simply put padded insole in and they fit great with a little added footbed comfort! I would not go down a size for fear of them fitting much too tight. Great selection of Docs, good prices and excellent service...buy with confidence! - THANK YOU Zappos!

I love these! I haven't owned a new pair of Docs in a while, but I really needed these for a specific outfit. I had some problems breaking in an old pair of Doc boots in the 90's, and remember it being so miserable for a few weeks. Being synthetic, I thought these might be really stiff and hard or impossible to break in, but once I got the laces just right, I wore them for 10 hours straight. They're perfect! I continued to wear them for the rest of the weekend, with jeans, skirts... these are my new favorite shoes!!

Red patent leather is wild -
I have several pairs of Doc Martens boots and love the comfy feel and the look of them. When I saw the red patent leather ones I did not hesitate to add them to my collection. They look great with everything; especially denim jeans. I recommend this beautiful boot to anyone who wants to jazz up their boots and loves being a little different.

Absolutely awesome flowered boots -
The leather on my flowered boots is soft ad pliable, it seems to breathe and my feet don’t get overheated in them, I am diabetic so a comfortable shoe is very important to me, and I love these. They are not only acceptable footwear they are soo cute and I am 56 years old. I am soo very glad I purchased them. I love the look!

Beautiful Comfort -
The 1460W is made for me. I have them in triumph, black flowered, white flowered, leopard, brown, red velvet, pewter and now black patent. I have my eye on a couple of spring styles I'm sure I will buy too. What can I say? I'm hooked! I wear jeans mostly and these are the shoe for me. I do prefer them with a gel insole and then wow, we are talking comfort! People always notice my docs and compliment me. Love them, love them, love them!

Floral boots -
Love, love, love them. I'm a residential construction project manager and Dr. Marten's are my choice of footwear for their comfort and thick soles (protects my feet from the occasional nail). As a woman in a predominantly male field, its fun to bring a little femininity into the typical jeans/t shirt uniform. Not only are they comfortable, long wearing, but look awesome. They go from the construction site to out on the town. This is my 15th pair of Dr. Martens, and I still wear my first pair I had purchased 11 years ago.

I love the black patent on this classic. Very funky. I think that this version includes an insole the normal classic pair does not.

Kicking up wildflowers -
Everyone stops and stares at these boots. Lots of positive input from strangers even! The ecru crackle finish and faded flowers are demure and feminine - like dainty ladies boots from another time long ago ... but then they have those famous Doc soles with yellow stitching ... from a not so dainty punk past. Sid would like these on Nancy. I love these boots... but I hate Nancy...

I took a size smaller than normal in this shoe. It gets comments wherever I go (duh) but rave reviews follow this shoe. I was expecting to have to put an arch support in it but so far haven’t had to.

I love my zebra print boots! Plus I get so many compliments when I wear them. Way more comfortable then they look. They are my first pair of Dr. Martens and I’m sold on getting more. Worth every penny.

I am a huge Dc. Marten fan!
These are the ultimate shoes for the Dc. Marten fan. I have about 5 pairs, and none of them compare to these. I can't count all of the compliments I got in the first week. They are comfortable and really gorgeous. I think this is a really good price for these Docs, especially for this style. They felt true to size and are easy to get on/off.
