The Palila boot is pretty close to ideal for me. I\'m 5\'2 and wear a 7.5. I purchased this in 7.5W because it looked a little narrow in the pictures and this fit perfectly. The shaft ends about 2 inches above my knees and looks fantastic! I did not find these hard to walk in at all and I usually prefer running around barefoot or in flats.

Gave Me Lo-o-o-o-ong Feet!
Too bad, so sad--for the price, comfort, over the knee height, strong yet great looking fabric, comfortable yet sexy heel height, and versatile style that works well with day or night attire, I would have happily taken these to my Shoe Guru to have the shafts taken in to fit my skinny legs. Unfortunately, they made my feet look so long that I felt like putting on a rubber nose and a red wig and running off to join the circus. Luckily, I remembered that Zappos wouldn't take my return if I wore them off of the carpet, so I took them off and continued my search at Zappos.com for the perfect brown boot. Sigh, but thank goodness our wonderful friends at Zappos have such an incredible return and exchange policy.

All the reviews made it sound great, but these didn't work for me. The color was off-black and they fell just above my knee. Unfortunately, they're going back.

Best price for great boots -
These boots look better than ones I have seen for hundreds more. The over-the-knee look is hot. I wasn't expecting comfort because I have a pair of very uncomfortable RSVP heels, but these feel great. Also, the fabric they are made of looks like it is good for all types of weather. My only criticism is it looks like the sole at the tip of toe might come undone after a little more wear.

I did not like this shoe.
These are not very cute! I am 5'10 and 126 lbs and they were so big on my calf and leg!! They were very loose fitting, not tight like another buyer said, maybe she has big calves. If you have skinny legs and are tall, I don’t think you will like these!!

These boots are great. Can't be worn for too long but I bought these in a medium and my size is actually wide because I know that I might never find boots of this length in my actual size. Overall I could wear them only until lunch, but they felt ok, and everyone commented on how great they looked on me.

So, So Sexy!
These boots will make you feel super sexy even on a bad day. The heel is perfect - not too high yet not low either. They are very easy to walk in - rain or shine. The fabric is one of the most cooperative types I have ever experienced. You can get them wet and never see the tell-tale signs. What I like most is that it has a unique way of conforming exactly to the shape of your leg. I am very slim and the boot hugs my little legs, showing every curve. You can get lots of use out of them because they look good with both skirts and pants. This is a must have for the modern "Fashionista."

Now that I have both colors, in my size 9W, (had to send 8.5 W back) secure in my possession I will say..."Simply Fantastic Boot!"...if you have thick calves these will automatically give the illusion of a slimmer silhouette...very day sexy...grab em turn some heads...you'll be all the rage!

An alright Thigh High -
Ordered this boot because face it; everyone should have a thigh high boot in her possession. This one was a good one for the price, but not as sexy as others may rave. It's not a bad boot, but not a great boot. It's office sexy, not bedroom, girl’s night out sexy. For me because I have small calves, it fit ok, nothing to write home about but I don't have buyers remorse. The material is weather friendly, salt, snow, rain, etc. so why not, eh?

It breaks my heart to return these, but they only come up to the crease of my knee. I am only 5'4", so you would think they would be "over-the-knee" boots like they look in the picture. I admit they were exceedingly comfortable and true to size, but I think the shaft needs to be taller.

Awesome thigh high -
These boots are HOT! I am 5'10" and they come about 2" over my knee- which is a rarity for me. I am also a size 12 and they feel super comfortable. I can walk all day in these boots without hurting. The material is perfect for rainy weather as well. I am constantly getting compliments. Dress them up with a skirt that comes to the knee or if you are going to a club- a mini is in order!

Absolutely thrilled -
Terrific comfort--even better than I'd hoped. I could easily wear these all day. They feel SO good! As I'd hoped, they look just great under jeans or with a cute skirt. My one and only ever-so-slight dislike is that they slouch just a teeny bit, which I wish they didn't. It's just the nature of the material though. Great, sexy boots.

Sexy...even on Wide Feet -
Very sexy boots at great price!! My feet are very wide but they fit for the most part. If you have very wide feet these will fit. Heel is narrow so I only wear these indoors when I won't be on my toes too much.

Looks Good - Might Do Better -
I love how this boot looks, but it's a little short on me. It hits AT the knee on top of my kneecap, not over the knee at the thigh. It makes it long enough for what I wanted, but not long enough to be truly comfortable. The material isn't really stretch, though it has a little give. It's 85% of what it should and wants to be. Close enough.

A great looking boot, not at all uncomfortable and makes the legs look fantastic. Will have to treat for rain resistance. Friend with 13" calves and friend with 15" calves both got into them and they went right back to shape for me (get out of my shoes!), snug on my 13.5's. You can strut your stuff in comfort when the temp drops, or when your honey shows up. They aren't uber sexy, just subtle and ready to go anywhere. Just use heel pads and orthotic soles if you plan to wear them all day and night. And do your Pilates!

Wow...
I've spent a lot on shoes over the years. Last year I bought a pair of stretch knee high Manolo Blahnik boot for $1250 and these boots are more comfortable, higher on the leg (which I like) and look just as good. I love these boots!

I just received my boots and they are awesome. I have extremely large calves and these boots fit great. They are very comfortable also and great for long legs.

I was thrilled when this boot arrived but unfortunately the shaft is too narrow if you have muscular calves like me. I'm struggling to find a nice winter boot again this year! :(

Great knee boot!
I've been like Goldilocks this fall looking for a pair of knee high boots that were "just right," and these are it! I had my heart set on leather boots and I thought the fabric would look cheap but instead it looks really sexy. These boots have the nice tight fit over my calves that I wasn't getting with the leather boots I tried. These boots are definitely smart enough for day and sexy enough for night!

These are great looking and really comfortable boots. I am a shoe freak! I am also pregnant at the moment and unfortunately in addition to my belly growing, so are my calves. As a result, none of my boots zip up. I ordered these because I figured they would stretch, a lot! I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, especially for the price.

Awesome Boots!
I LOVE these boots!!! As always, the Zappos service was awesome and I received them a few days after I placed my order. They are better looking than I thought they would be and very comfortable. They are a little higher than knee length but I was very happy to find that they fit perfectly - - which is usually a problem because I have thick legs. I ordered a size larger than what I normally wear and have plenty of room. Great Buy!
