Funky Perfection -
I love these clogs! I have worn Dansko clogs for over 10 years. I was getting bored with the PROFESSIONAL style. I also own and covet the MARGRETE style. I found these to be the perfect combination of those two styles. PERFECTION!

More Colors Please!
I have been wearing Dansko clogs for years...I have many pairs. The Madrigal is so cute and airy without sox. They held up well during a long day in NYC. I try other "ortho" shoes, but I always end up coming back to my Dansko’s. They have superior support. I have one request... PLEASE make the Madrigal in more fun & sporty colors like the Professional. I would love a red pair!

I love Dansko clogs and where them often. These are just like the clog but I feel a little dressier in them for my teaching job. They are comfortable for all day, though I have not tested them on a long city walk. Love the green suede, very stylish looking. I have put them away for spring/summer but I can't wait to wear them again in the fall.

Comfortable AND cute, but...!
I love Dansko and have 2 other prs of the professional clogs that I wear ALL the time. I wanted to try something from Dansko that was a little different and think the madrigal is really cute. I have had these shoes for about 6 months or so and have worn them to work many times. They are very cute and comfortable. I am not on my feet all day normally. For standing or walking at a normal pace these are fine, but just a warning... At a recent trade show, I was walking fast and fell! Something about the way the strap at the ankle binds your foot inside the shoe makes it impossible to really bend your feet or extend them as you would in a run or even fast walk. Luckily the strap didn't break, but my ankle was twisted and after that I couldn't wear them for the rest of the trade show. I still love them, but I wouldn't try walking fast in them again.

A Dansko Convert -
I am a physical therapist and I'm on my feet all day. I really wanted to get a pair of Danskos because a lot of my co-workers swear by them, but I couldn't wear them the slip on stapled clogs because my heel is too narrow and slipped out too much and I couldn't wear the Myla either because it rubbed too much in my forefoot. I found that the Madrigal solved that problem by keeping my heel in with the strap (and no rubbing in the forefoot!) It took about 2 weeks for me to break them in and it hurt while that was happening but I hung in there and I'm glad because they are now my favorite shoe! I get compliments on them nearly every time I wear them. The next shoe I plan to buy is the Dansko Lotus.

Comfy As Expected..
I get tired of the usual Dansko look, though, since I work in the restaurant industry, my co-workers swear by them. I wanted all the benefits too--all day shock support, roomy molded fit, good arch support (so many shoe brands forget arches) and with a little less "cloddy" look.
This Mary Jane style does it. The brown suede is beautiful. It has all the great Dansko support features and with a lighter "less leather" looks and feels. The strap is adjustable so any stretching is easily remedied. They clean up nicely with a suede brush and support my larger body through walking, going up and down stairs and shopping after work with absolutely no shock to my lower back.
If you're in the market for a clog, or a slightly meatier shoe that doesn't weigh you down and gives you on-feet support 8 plus hours in a day--Dansko is definitely the way to go. They boast many styles now that veer from the usual clog look. The Madrigal is a look I like and performs true to representation.

So comfortable!
I have had lots of Dansko shoes because of the great support they give, especially if you are on your feet all day. These were a little stiff the first two days I wore them but now they are perfect.

Gorgeous Danskos -
Danskos are about the only shoe that I can wear and feel comfortable in all day. I bought these to wear with skirts and dresses. I have a high instep, and the strap is on the last hole, but they still fit comfortably. Your heel should go up and down in the heel, and this is still comfortable with the strap. The heel does not rub or cause blisters like other shoes I've tried, including some Danskos.

This is my 2nd Pair!
I had purchased a pair of this exact shoe in a different color about 4 months earlier. It is the perfect shoe for work (very stylish) yet comfortable and durable enough for me to walk the mile to and from where I park the car. Never a day when I was not totally comfortable in this shoe for many hours. It has a wide toe box which I really appreciate, and feels a bit like a clog.
I wish they made the shoe in many more colors!

Great on looks but not so much on comfort -
These shoes look great but were a little disappointing in terms of comfort. They're more stylish than an ordinary clog, with toe stitching that really sets them apart. However, I was expecting these clogs to be like a pair of Dansko sandals I own-- a good-looking walking shoe to be worn all day when traveling. Instead, they are more of a wear-around-town kind of shoe. Great for going to a mall but not for tight connections in airports. The strap is much thinner than on my Dansko sandal and doesn't keep the shoe firmly on my foot, esp. since the heel moves around a lot in these clogs. Furthermore, my foot felt tired and achy after all day in these shoes.

I love this shoe! After seeing someone wearing it I looked it up. I had never had a pair of Danskos and did go to a local store to try on a few styles so that I could measure my size. Still, there is always a risk as I understand from Dansko devotes that every pair is individual! I got it right on the first try and Zappos had the shoe to me the next day by noon! The sizing and appearance of the shoe are exactly as I expected. The shoe is very comfortable and works well for both casual and dressier wear. Except for deep snow, it's also a good winter shoe -- Dansko soles really do well in snow and ice!
As always Zappos service was superb!

Dankso Madrigal -
I wear a 7.5 in most casual shoes and I wear a 38 in most Danskos. These fit like the other pair I own, which is also in the stapled clog collection. The ankle strap is cute, but does take a second longer to put on, but I don't have to unbuckle it to do so. Like another reviewer, I have my doubts that the ankle strap will last as long as the rest of the shoe does, but I'll just have to wait and see. They are a little clunky, like a clog, but if you've worn Danskos before then you know what I mean. Cute and comfy!

Dansko Shoes run really small.
It is pretty, just like people said, but you need to order two sizes up, not just one.

Dansko’s are SO comfortable!
This shoe is comfortable, gives good support, and is also very attractive. I have the black ones, and I wear them so much, I got the green ones too. Good support for tired feet. Even good for "problem" feet.

Another rockin pair of Dansko’s -
I am on my feet all day on concrete. I am also running through the kitchen (I have a truck stop...), or on a really bad day cleaning up a diesel spill. Dansko's fit my day. They are truly skid proof, and give me the support I need to be running all day long.

Very comfortable!
These shoes are great. I have foot pain and arthritis in my large toes. The hard soles protect the joints. They are very comfortable overall. They look really cute, too.

Comfortable from day 1 -
I love Danskos and have the Mary Janes. The biggest difference between the Mary Janes and these is the location of the strap. This strap is a little bit higher up and it takes a second longer to get them on because of it. I can still slide them on and off without un-doing the buckle. Love the style and comfortable from day 1 as always!

Another Great Dansko!
Dansko has a tendency to feel a little hard on the bottom for my personal liking, but great support for a flatter foot. Medium arch support. Very cute style. Gives a clog some feminine flair.

Love these!!
These are my first Danskos and are more comfortable than I thought they might be. I think you may have to really like mules and clogs to really like the way these feel.

Cute Clogs!
I like the look of these Danskos. They are cute shoes and the strap across the top of my foot works better for me than original clogs, which have a tendency to be clunky and awkward.
I will say that compared to other Danskos (such as Magrete, my favorite) I couldn't walk a long time in them. For work, running errands, etc they are fine; but I wouldn't wear them if I planned to walk around town all day.

Comfort of a clog with a Mary Jane look -
This is the perfect shoe for me, I wear them all day without socks, and they look good (many compliments) and they are flexible yet supportive. Because they are cut lower over the instep, they are great for people with high insteps. I bought both the green and black.

I bought two pairs, one black, one green/brown. They look great with business casual outfits, either pants or skirt bottoms. They're very comfortable too. My feet feel great wearing them, even after a long day.

Broken strap -
I loved these shoes, they were super comfortable the very first time I wore them... but the strap broke after I'd worn them fewer than 10 times. Zappos took them back though! I can't say enough about Zappos' fantastic customer service.
