Pinchy toes -
I just got mine in green. They're a pretty color but a little darker than I expected. Like a hunter green instead of "jungle" (more teal-ish) green. Anyway, they fit fine except they pinch the tops of my big toes. Others say the shoe stretches a lot so I'm hoping that will happen. If not, I'll take them to a cobbler and have them stretched. Mine do NOT feel like they slip off but if they stretch I'll just add heel pads (as I tend to do in all my shoes). It's a very cute, retro, pin-up shaped shoe that's more casual due to the wooden heel. I think they're adorable, I just hope I can get them stretched so I can wear them without discomfort.

Love them!
These shoes are beautiful and very comfortable for the heel height. I wear a size 8 and my foot is pretty wide, when I first bought them they fit perfectly but this shoe definitely stretches a lot! They keep slipping off now! I have to wear shoe inserts with them.

What i like about the Steve Madden Pawla, the style is very unique it feel comfortable and have a sense of being a young teenager.

Love It!!!
Absolutely love this shoe. Can be casual or dressy and it's super comfortable. I need to get it in more colors. I ordered my regular size and had no problems with the fit. Hope this review helps your decision about the shoe.

They stretch too much!
These shoes are beautiful and YES!!! They go great with jeans but I am an 8.5 and wish I would have got an 8... They are very wide now and my feet slip.

Blisters galore -
I purchased this shoe for a reunion. I had to remove my shoes they were so uncomfortable and months later and after several times wearing them, they still pinch my toes and slip off my heel. I always have blisters when I wear these shoes. I have another pair of Steve Madden's that are brown leather and look very similar and I can wear them all day long without a problem. But not these. I have stopped wearing them altogether.

Not nearly comfortable -
I got these shoes because I needed some to go with a dress I was wearing to a reunion. They hurt so much I have blisters every time I wear them. I've worn them several times trying to break them in and they never get more comfortable. They are slippery and pinch my toes.

These shoes look great in jeans! I usually wear an 8 and a half. But after having kids I have been getting 9's. I bought a 9 in this shoe but wish I bought the 8.5. The heels slip off! I am gonna get the recommended anti blister pads in these. However...perfect shoe! Soooo cute!

Hard foot bed -
This shoe is really pretty and flattering. However, the foot bed was too hard for my liking. I unfortunately had to return these.

These are my favorite shoes, by far. I bought them for performances and competitions, and they work perfectly for me. They have an extremely stable heel and don't slip at all on stage, which is the most important thing for me. Also, my feet don't get tired for hours, even when doing lots of standing. The only problem I had was that my heels would slip out of them, so I put in anti-blister pads and they're perfect now! I adore them.

Hot Shoe!
I bought this shoe in the grey suede, such a cool, different color. I originally purchased a 7.5, but needed a 7. I am always in-between sizes. They are super cute, but because there is the peephole, your toes slide forward and it hurts after a while. The shape of the shoe would be perfect to wear all day without the peephole, but that is what makes it cute... Still wear them all day through the pain though.

I just got the shoes today and want to thank Zappos for the professional package and for their immediate shipping.
These shoes are wonderful. I wear an 8 and these fit just right. Of course there is no room to play, but I prefer that on high heels over having your heel slip on every step.
They are super sexy.

These shoes are certainly sexy; I'd love to have several colors. Love the platforms. I'm a true size 6, however, I ordered size 6.5 since 6 was not available. Thank goodness Zappos was out of size 6, the size 6.5 fit to a T. I'd recommend a half size larger.

These shoes are gorgeous! They really make my already teeny legs look like pencils. They will come on handy for any chunky leg that wears them. They are very sexy, and can be worn with anything your mind can think up.

LOVE THESE SHOES!
I bought these in the brown suede for fall and I'm VERY pleased with my purchase! If you're as tired as I am with all the wedges and sky-high platforms and want a really nice pair of heels-- you can't go wrong with the Steve Madden Pawla! The suede is supple and high-quality and the color is a deep, rich brown-- just as pictured.
I was, however, a little surprised at all the issues other people are having with size... My standard size 8M fit perfectly--literally like a glove-- even after hours of wear.

I LOVE these shoes. Not only are they relatively comfortable (toes get squished after a long time of wearing), but they get SO many compliments. I wanted these shoes since the day they came out, and I don't regret getting them for a minute! I've even had guys comment on them, I think that says a lot! Also, they make my feet feel small; I usually wear a size 9-10, but had to get these in an 8 and there’s still a little extra room. But I know people who got them in their usual size and find they fit fine, so make sure you try them on or buy them from somewhere with a good exchange policy.

The shoes look awesome but my wide feet are a little crammed in. Had to get a half-size smaller so my heel wouldn't come up a when I walked. They look great on!

Red Hot Shoes -
These gorgeous shoes were a must have for me. I received my order in only 2 days which was wonderful. Unfortunately the shoes hurt my feet so bad and can only be worn for a few hours. I have to put band aids on the backs of my heels to even walk around my house. This WON'T discourage me from ordering from Zappos again. They are great; I'm just going to be more cautious about my choices.

Sexy Shoe -
I love these shoes. I traveled across the Washington, DC region trying to find them all summer. They were sold out. Sexy and an eye catcher! They do get somewhat uncomfortable after the 5th or so hour but that's the price you pay for fashion. I don't know if I would wear them to work again. Thanks Zappos!

I wore these to my husband’s class reunion. They were fine until I started dancing. I bought 1/2 size up. They seem to run a little small. There is an indent across the toe, band aids may help, the foot bed is great.

Pretty but painful -
These shoes run a half sizes smaller than marked. I have a pair that’s a 9.5 (my true size) and they killed my feet. I really had to pack on the bandages. So the next pair I bought I got a 10 and they seem to feel more comfortable but they still give me blisters. I HAVE to plan out how I’m going to strategically place my band aids for the night before I even put these shoes on. Beauty for pain, it’s a hot shoe, tons of compliments.

I only placed my order yesterday and yet today I get home from work and SURPRISE! My boots are here! Free shipping, fast shipping, giant selection...what else can a customer ask for? Customer service in general is lacking when dealing with other retailers but Zappos rules!
