These almost exactly the same as some shoes I bought many years ago in a tiny boutique in Berkeley. They became my favorite shoes, just fancy and stylish enough for work, but still incredibly light and comfortable for my finicky feet. The boutique stopped carrying them and I couldn't replace my favorite shoes. I was heartbroken until I found these almost identical shoes online at Zappos. Thank you Zappos! I love these shoes.

I have three things going on with my 70 year old feet: tarsal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and pronation. These sandals are the most comfortable I have ever worn, they give support in the right places (arch and sides of foot), and have a 2" inch heel which I need in order to counter the effects of p.f. as well as the Achilles tendon that keeps flaring up once in a while. Also, the open toe is just the right size. I was ecstatic when Sue Selleck, the buyer for EuroComfort Shoes in Salt Lake City, found them for me on Zappos. (This store left our area recently.) I can wear them comfortably all day long. I highly recommend the Romika Mokassetta sandals: they not only look and feel good, but also last quite long before wearing out. I feel I'm getting value for my money.

Wow! Really nice and comfortable! I just got these today and am really excited! They feel great on, I love the look and style and they are lightweight. I got the lavender and black as I have a lot of purples in my wardrobe and of course they will go with black and purple! I am going on a cruise to Alaska and will bring these for casual evenings on the ship! This is my first pair of Romika and I am definitely pleased. Thanks Zappos!

These shoes are the most comfortable shoes with a heel that I have ever worn. When I first got them they were a little snug, but very comfortable. My foot tends to be a little wide, but not enough to order wide shoes. I wore them around the house for a couple of days and they stretched enough to make me keep them. I'm so glad I did, because now they fit great. I'm 5'7" and I don't normally wear shoes with more than an inch heel, but had a funeral to go to and needed some shoes. Now I wear these shoes every chance I get. My sister tried them on and she loved them, too! This type of shoe will fit a lot of different foot types because of how it's made. These shoes are definitely worth the money.

I love these shoes. I have been wearing Romikas for several years. I have 2 pairs - 1 in white and the other in grey. They are both still in good condition. So when I saw these in blue, I decided to buy my 3rd. They go well with jeans as well as dressier pants or skirts. They are extremely comfortable. I can wear them all day at work and not have a problem. The top is a bit stretchy so they don't cut in. The arch support is perfect and the sole is cushioned.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: I also recommend Merrell's. They are much more casual and can be worn instead of sneakers when walking long distances.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on. I wear all sorts of comfy shoes - clogs, Birkenstocks, Keens, etc. These take the cake. I wore them for the first time yesterday and every time I walked around I marveled at how great they felt. The footbed of the shoe is made of this velvet material that is luxurious on top of the support and comfort they provide. The shoes lack a teeny bit in style. I’m not crazy about the small elastic area on the side of the shoe though.

I ordered these shoes for their stylish comfort for a trip to France this summer. They are both. These shoes are comfortable the moment you slip your foot into them. I'm going to wear them for some long walks to see if they will hold up as one of my two pairs for travel.

I often wear a wide shoe in US sizes & these are fine for me. I like the way they look with jeans & they are very comfy. No complaints. I like the shoes but I LOVE Zappos great service!!!

Better than slippers -
This is my second pair, and from the minute I slipped them on, I knew I'd wear them every day. I wear them around the house, with black socks on a chilly day and out at night with any jeans or cords. The most versatile shoe in my wardrobe and best value per wear by far.

This is my third pair of Mokassetta shoes. They are usually my vacation walking shoes. They give provide good arch support with good heel height. Highly recommend them.

The most comfortable shoe ever!
I had bought a pair of these shoes from a local shoe store and ended up wearing them nearly every day. I couldn't find them again when they wore out, and was thrilled to find them online.
They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, especially if you have feet on the wide side. They also are very sturdy in that they have no tendency to tip to the side.

I ordered these based on other reviewers' comments and they were right. These are comfortable & stylish and were perfect for a recent European vacation because I could wear them all day for touring/walking, yet they were attractive enough for evenings out. They fit like a glove. I usually wear a size 10 and the size 40 was perfect.

All time great shoe -
This is my 2nd pair of these. I have LOTS of foot problems and stylish comfort is such a luxury for me. I LOVE THESE SHOES! The elastic at the toe is over the top great for me, both for comfort and camouflage. They feel like a pair of slippers that gets lots of compliments for style. And they last a long time. The only reason I need another pair after 4 years is that my deformed toes have stretched the front out.

I bought these shoes and was very excited. I wore them the next day. They were very comfortable. However, after a day of wearing them I had two really large blisters on my feet. I was really sad since I had paid quite a pretty penny for these. I will keep them but I just have to figure out how I'm going to wear them again without getting those blisters.

Middle aged chic French lady shoe -
I first bought a pair of these shoes when they were made by another company. The owner of the shoe store told me "they remind me of the chic French ladies I saw in Europe". I was not middle aged at the time (1994) but I loved the look and they were sooo comfortable. Fast forward 14 years and my old pair is starting to wear out. Why didn't I buy another pair when I had the chance? Imagine my unbounded joy when I found these Romika’s on Zappos. They bought out the other company and continued to produce this long lasting comfortable shoe. Hooray! They are comfortable and now I am middle aged and chic! Alas! I am not French but I look good and my feet feel fabulous.

Most comfort I have ever found.
I bought 2 pair of this style 3 years ago. Still wearing them every day that I commute on the Metro. Comfortable, don't flop on your heels, and just the right heel height. I also have 3 pair of the winter closed toe style. Great shoe at a reasonable price!

Comfortable, Stylish & Sharp Shoe -
I like that I can wear these with career wear or casual, versatile shoe. This shoe is comfortable and actually while my sister was in Florida she needed comfortable shoes, someone recommended this shoe to her and in turn I saw them, she gave them rave reviews which prompted me to search Zappos for this shoe and sis was right, these are comfortable, plus they look great! She also has them in white; I haven't been able to find the white. You won’t be disappointed in purchasing these shoes. I read the comments about being more like a clog, I don't agree... these are far more comfortable then a clog, I like how the material feels around my feet and there's no "breaking in" time with these, however they're not really a sandal, maybe an open back peep toe shoe?! LOL.

A clog, not a sandal -
This is ready-to-wear (meaning no band-aids needed) and allows for walking without pain. But very little of the foot is exposed so I would categorize it as closer to a lightweight clog.

Foot Friendly Shoes -
These shoes were a hit right out of the box. I needed a shoe to take on vacation and these fit the ticket. They are lightweight and very classy looking. The Perfect Shoe -
My first pair of Romika's was this slide that I purchased four years ago. I have worn this shoe to death, so I'm using this pair for gardening and outside work. I just purchased a new pair that hopefully will last just as long. I swear by Romika shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes on the planet

I could sleep in these. I have big problems with hammertoes rubbing against the sides of shoes and these are the most comfortable pair I ever wore. I have been looking for shoes I could walk in all day/wear to work/go casual with and Romkia Mokassetta fits the bill perfectly. I just got them and walked around in them for hours at work - it was like wearing slippers. I did not want to take them off. Not only were they extremely comfortable but managed to make my foot look narrower. And even the resident fashion police at the office gave these a nod of approval, which is pretty rare.

Oh so comfy...
This is THE perfect day to day shoe, including the office. Chic enough to go with a skirt, without killing you feet. I love Romika. These shoes are light, comfortable and attractive all at once! If you normally wear half sizes, order half size smaller.

I love these shoes -
Before I ordered these Romikas from Zappos I tried them on in a department store shoe department and while there, I didn't want to take them off. They felt like a cloud on my feet. I wear size 6 1/2 and have wide feet and so size 37 fit me perfectly. I plan to wear them all summer. They are very light with great arch support and I can hardly feel them on my feet, which is what I look for when I buy shoes.

 |  | I want you to know how pleased I am that my dad received his shoes so quickly! He got them today. I am amazed! He is a patient at the VA hospital in Denver. He is a WWll combat veteran who lost his leg after stepping on a land mine. Recently, he was taken to the VA hospital because no one at his present home could care for him. He was sick, malnourished, and to add insult to injury, could not use his prosthetic leg because it caused a sore on his amputated stump. To shorten a long story, he had no shoes with him with which to begin learning to use his new prosthesis. I ordered them Saturday as soon as I hung up talking with him and he received them today. Now he can begin the long journey to regain his stride and health. He will be returning to the east coast of Virginia to be with family.
