Great Shoe, Great Service -
I have tried several different pairs of boots and shoes, but the Cliff Walker fits my needs to a T. I am a pretty big guy and have wide, flat feet, arthritis in both knees and I am a warehouse manager. So after a long day of my feet pounding the concrete, it was a complete joy to find a boot that will take that kind of abuse and still give me comfort all day long! They have great comfort straight from the box, no break in time. It is also the only 6" non steel toe boot that I have found in my size 10-1/2,5E! Well enough about the boot, the Customer Service from the Zappos Support Team is Excellent and the fact that they have free shipping both ways, in this economy, is more than enough reason for me to shop with them! Thanks Zappos! I'll Be Back!

These are very comfortable, lightweight and sturdy for hiking or walking on a glacier, which was what I did with them. They keep your feet warm and dry in colder weather, yet were comfortable when worn in the heat of the Outer Banks.

These shoes are good to buy but were just, size wise, too big, so I had to return the first ones I bought and buy smaller ones. Even the one size reduction is still big but you can get away with it. Great comfort and support!

This boot is basically a flat board inside on the bottom. It's true that there is good room inside the toe box, soft leather, etc. Another thing is that the sole is really quite hard with very little shock absorbing ability. I immediately decided to return them. For those not that athletic in their movements, who simply need a good wide platform, and arch support is not an big issue, as in using your own orthotics, it is fine. And not bad looking, soft comfortable leather. It is longer than marked.

A good buy! They were comfortable, although a little stiff, right out of the box. They offer good support, and are solid without being too heavy. I'd buy them again.

So, this is the first time I've ever heard of 3EEE width shoes, and I liked the look of the Propet Cliff Walker for an everyday work/walking shoe. I am a "sneaker burster" -- my feet expand out when I walk, even with an orthotic, and tear sneakers to pieces, even with all leather uppers. These are actually a tad loose and long, but I think I can live with that. The only thing to keep in mind is that these shoes will get hot inside during the hot summer days if you will be wearing them every day.

I am extremely impressed with the Zappos family, great customer support and I ordered these great fitting boots around 8-8:30pm 9 Jul 08 and was shocked when I received them the next day around 9:00 am. This is one site that you can feel very comfortable about ordering and not being worried about trouble contacting or getting them to resolve your problems. GO Zappos! Zappos does it again! I have never been disappointed with any shoes I've bought from Zappos; these Cliff Walkers are the best.
I'm diabetic and a very large guy also; these fit great and give your feet plenty of support as well as look good and are waterproof.

Great value, probably the best shoe at the price point -
The shoe fits and I've certainly paid more for less comfortable shoes. But ... the shoe is bare bones and the foot bed seems nearly flat. I have wide feet and most shoes (even if labeled EE or EEEE) hurt with normal wear. These don't. I can wear these all day w/o discomfort. OTOH I wouldn't go hiking in these.

Oversized loose in sole -
I liked the style and construction. However, the fit was a full size larger as was the width. My biggest issue is the insole which keeps slipping out of place causing enough discomfort that I have to repeatedly take them off to readjust.
My first and last pair of Propét. I much prefer the Dunham line.

Good price, good boot.
I needed a work boot for my security job which entails a fair amount of walking. The boot was comfortable right out of the box; it looks nice with black slacks or jeans. It doesn't have all day comfort an insert would probably do the trick. I would buy this boot again although not for work.

Fits 1/2 larger than size, I usually wear 11 but 10.5 worked great. I walk a lot all day on concrete and have had no problems. Laces are very long I had to get shorter ones. Other than that seems like a great shoe!

Thanks for making a great "Boot/Walking shoe."
I have a torn ligament in my right ankle. Because of this condition, I could not walk in grass. “Why not get it fixed?” I am 70 years old; I have had approximately sixteen knee operations, four ankle operations, and was born with a birth defect called spondylolisthesis. Due to the spondylolisthesis, I was taking three-hundred mgs of morphine daily to stay out of a wheel-chair. There is no end limit of morphine that can be taken per day, so as my body grew accustomed to the quantity, it had to be increased monthly. After three overdoses and my wife and children not knowing if I would survive another week of living on life support, they put a morphine pump in my body with tubes running up and down my spine. Worked out great. I am down to 2 mg of morphine a day. All my problems solved except one. I still can’t walk in the darn yard. I tried everything from one-thousand dollar boots to sixty-nine dollar boots. Your product answered my problem. Do you know how few manufacturers stock a size 10 EEE ankle high boot? You are the only people I found that does. I can now walk across my yard. No fear. It is great; I love my walking problem being solved. God bless your product. Man, I kissed a lot of frogs before I found your boot. It really works. Thanks!

Replacing Rockport hiking boots after 300 miles on Appalachian Trail over two summers, 70 miles of Benton McKay trail, 80 miles of Suwannee River trail. I normally wear a 4E, but ordered these in 3E as the reviews said they run larger than marked. I have been doing some local hiking to break them in. It doesn't look like they will need much breaking in and are quite comfortable, even with a problem bunion on my right foot. I wear them with a pair of polyliner socks and heavy "Smart Wool" hiking socks. I will be wearing them on a 200 mi Appalachian Trail hike this summer. Looks like I made a good choice. Workin' in the Woods -
Very comfortable, roomy boot right out of the box. Great for my very wide and high instep foot! No break-in required. I'm a forester and am using these boots for work in the field in all weather conditions. So far have held up well to snow & wet conditions. Very comfortable for hours of walking in woods and over other somewhat rough terrain.
Found it a bit difficult to lace up with laces in retaining loop on the tongue. Took them out and that works better for me.
Decent looking and good value for waterproof leather work boots. Definitely would buy Propet boots again if these hold up.

My guy looks hot in these -
Not only does he look hot, he says he loves the way that they fit. He also likes the fact that they are waterproof. I wasn't sure because I have never bought this brand but my husband wears a size 15 and has limited choices, but I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. Glad I did.

Great fit!
Rarely do shoes I buy fit well. I'm usually removing the insert to get additional room so that I can wear them at all. These Propét boots fit perfectly! Only problem was that only black was in stock when I ordered and I might have preferred one of the other colors.
