I ignored the reviews that mentioned the size difference and just bought my size...should have listened to them. These shoes definitely run a half to a whole size large. I normally wear 9.5 and I fit comfortably into an 8.5 in this shoe. Looks great! Leathery smell is a bit strong.

I'm impressed -
The price is really reasonable. The shoes have the same look and sole of shoes that cost 5-7 times more. I just got these and have worn them 4 times so I can’t comment on durability. They seem well made although I want to see how the zipper, leather and inner sole hold up. Their comfort and heel support is good but nothing steller. Overall, a buy. I'm considering getting another pair.

You can’t get a better deal! Beautiful, comfortable shoe for a surprisingly comfortable price and the design is hard to find even in more expensive brands. I would recommend everyone to buy this shoe and to give u an idea of size its true to size so if u are 10 get size 10 you wont have any problems.

I just bought these shoes (actually got the 17121 model). I ordered a size 12 (because that is my foot measurement), but the 12M shoes I got were more like a 13 or 14! Giorgio Brutini's version of a 12 is huge! I really like the shoe, but really prefer trying it on before I buy it. Thinking of ordering a 10.5 or 11.

Great look, awful fit!
These shoes look killer, feel great and generally should have been fantastic. Unfortunately, while they're a narrow fit and challenging to get on, once I had them zipped up, my foot slid back-and-forth extensively with each step. The combination of long toe box, poor fit at the ankle and raised heel meant my foot was always uncomfortably jammed down into the front of the shoe.

Irish influence -
A friend from Ireland wears these boots and I always thought they were sharp looking. Finally found them on Zappos, good price, next day delivery, and now I look sharper than my Irish friend! Size was perfect and they look great with boot cut pants.

Bought these about 2 months ago, what a deal! Got these in the Brown Brush off goat color, they go well with jeans, slacks of any shade from white, mustard, to any shade of brown you throw at them. They stand out by far. The funny thing is I bought these on a whim because I was looking at the Mark Nason and Donald J Pliner boots when I found this site. Decided to test with a pair of inexpensive starter boots for some jeans. I felt like I stole something when I put them on and walked around in them. Went out to eat, mostly every girl I passed was staring at them, even caught their man looking at what they were looking at, too. Overheard/saw more than a few girls pointing at them and telling their guy to come up to me and ask me where I got them. Nuff said, these "inexpensive" boots are awesome! I put them up next to my handmade French Smalto Charcoal Full Short Hornback Alligator Boots that carry a crazy price tag of over $6,000 with current exchange rates and import taxes and I can proudly say I would wear these Brutinis instead of the Smaltos, depending on the color of my clothing. My friends thought these were just another pair of expensive boots that I found somewhere, they were close. Placed order on a Sunday morning ‘bout 4am and received Monday before noon. I had even messed up on the size and contacted Zappos, they responded within 10 minutes, fixed my screw up and sent them out in a day. Just buy them!

I ordered this pair of shoes because they look good. The reason I kept them is because they are somewhat comfortable. I would have liked them better if the heel was higher. The shoes that I like best have good looks and very good arch support.

Cool shoes for the money -
I've actually gotten a lot of compliments on these shoes. From a distance, they are very cool looking (and also expensive looking). They are very comfortable. However, the leather they made are made of is a little cheap when you get up close, but if you just want some cool looking shoes for a good price, then these are a great buy.

Great boot!
I have an odd size foot, right around 10 and 3/4. The size 10.5 was a little hard to get on, so I went up to a 11. Gets on fine, but a little loose. ANYWAY, for the price, this is a great pair of boots! They look super expensive and stylish as well. Did not notice any odor other than that "new shoe" smell. The customer service was beyond great!

An excellent boot.
I ordered a pair of these in blue, and they are wonderful. The stitching is detailed and high-quality, the leather is supple and color is a nice, subtle blue. They look very sharp, and I've received many compliments on them. My feet do start to hurt a little by the end of the day, but that happens with every pair of boots I own. These are a steal for the price. If you want a great pair of boots that you can dress up or dress down, seriously consider getting these. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite pair of boots.

Very unexpectedly stylish shoes! Bought them for a disco party and will wear them in other venues for sure. Price is right. Only a little difficult to get my feet into, just a bit narrow.

If you love the smell of Gas, these are for you -
Simple put, they stink, really stink. You should not to pay good money for a product that needs to be "aired out" for any amount of time. Stay away from these, pay a little more and purchase Mark Nason.

Really cool dress boots -
I was and am VERY pleased with the shoes I ordered. Not only did they get here in what seems like no more than 2 days from the time I ordered them, they fit PERFECTLY, and looked so cool that I could hardly stand it. I wore them to a party that very night, and the first guy I saw said "I WANT THOSE SHOES". Needless to say, they were a big hit and I love 'em. I also love that, through your web site, I can see exactly what I'm getting because of the ability to blow up the pictures of shoes from every different angle. I'm a very happy customer, and can't wait to order some more shoes.

Zappos: Honest, Friendly and Accommodating -
Zappos rocks! I ordered these boots and, as usual, Zappos used overnight shipping. The Fed-ex pacakge tracker indicated that they had been shipped, but someone apparently walked off with them right off my porch before I got home! Fed-ex didn't do a thing, but Zappos sent me a replacement pair by the next day. I love the boots and they look and feel great, but I was really floored by the outstanding service! No other company is like this. Like I said, Zappos rocks!

Attractive but Uncomfortable -
The shoe is great with jeans but overall the shoe is very uncomfortable to wear for more than a couple of hours. Good for the club but not for a day of shopping.

More Bang 4 Your Buck!
Well, I came across these boots while "window shopping" yesterday. I was first struck by the look and then the price of these boots. The easily look like more expensive boots offered by Marc Nason or someone similar but at a drastically discounted price. I read the reviews about the smell and I have to say that some people are either exaggerating or have VERY sensitive sense of smell. Yes, they do have a scent to them but it was neither overpowering nor long lasting. They smell like new shoes. I had them delivered to work and have been wearing them since opening the box. I didn't even remember the comments about the smell until I came online to write this review. Don't let those comments discourage you. They are great looking and once the leather warms up with your body heat they fit great. I do agree about getting a half size smaller than you usually wear because of the extended toe length but other than that, no complaints. I can't wait to wear them out. Everyone at work complimented me on them (and no, I'm not a big-wig around here so there was no brown nosing involved). I ordered mine in the Brown Brush Off Goat and when they arrived they looked darker than in the pic. I called Zappos and they informed me that they shoot the photos as the items would appear in sunlight so that's why they look so multi-colored in the photo. They are more subdued indoors under fluorescent lighting. I'm happy, you will be too.
