I Like These Shoes!
I bought the Sperry Bluefish 3-Eye shoes because I wanted shoes with non-slip soles. These shoes do not slip around; they are comfortable and well constructed. I like the Cord Ties better than Raw Hide Ties. When they wear out, I'll buy another pair.

Review of Billfish 3-eye -
This shoe is comfortable right out of the box with almost no "break-in" required. If you like the look and feel of boat shoes, you will like this shoe. Service from Zappos was impeccable as usual. I would not hesitate to buy this shoe if you like its look.

Billfish 3-eye, best shoe I own!
This is probably my 5th or 6th pair of this shoe over the last 10 years. I happen to be recovering from an ankle fusion and am still wearing a thin nylon brace. I can walk better in this shoe than any Nike-type shoe and they fit perfectly. Zappos is also a new standard of excellence in a mediocre world!

Sperry Billfish Review -
These are comfortable shoes but my last pair, after about 3 years of light use, blew out through the sides under the heal of both shoes. Essentially, the "sidewalls" cracked and the interior material came out. I wanted to get them resoled but Sperry does not do this. I liked the shoe.

This is the second pair I have purchased, the first pair being a different color. Wanted a spare pair to have on the boat. The standard by which all others are judged. I considered other brands at a substantially higher price, but kept coming back to the Sperry Billfish.

I have had my Sperry Top-Siders Billfish about a year now and man they are great. Just take your kids to Disneyland for two days and ware these babies and my feet felt great, also felt great while I was walking in them. The more you wash them the better they look. This should be noted I have narrow to medium instep.

I wish they would use the size system 10 1/2 D.
Last time I bought 10 1/2 W. They were to short. So this time I bought 11 W. the length is okay, but the overall fit seems to be a little loose.

Great shoe. This is my second pair. Wore the first pair out. We have a 30' boat, and this is a life saver in wet conditions. Super comfortable with the famous Sperry sole that grips in all conditions.

Best boat shoe I ever owned -
Boat shoes are a very personal thing for me. Of course, they have to have the sole which will grip a slippery deck. But they also have to give you support when you need it, and the ability to easily get them on and off. And they need to hold up to salt water, rain, mud, sun and a host of other insults. They have to be comfortable with socks and without. And, they have to look good.
The Billfish comes through on all of these criteria. They are extremely comfortable, look great, and offer incomparable resilience to the elements. They are comfortable without socks and in hot weather. And they stay laced, without those leather laces coming undone, as is the case with so many other shoes.
I'm sold on these. They're pricey, but well worth it.

Classic look - very soft -
This shoe has a very comfortable foodbed and is easy to break in. comfortable without socks. Leather looks broken in right away.

I am writing this for my mother and father. My mother was looking for shoes for my dad, which had a good sole, looked good, and were very Very comfortable. My mother actually bought a pair of Sperry shoes for dad at a good store, but they needed the shoe to fit in a wide. We spent a lot of time going to shops in the mall and finally decided to order Sperry shoes from the internet. We received the shoes in a short time and they fit and looked great. When dad actually wears shoes on all occasions we know that they are good.

I was an extremely loyal Sperry Topsider customer with several pairs .... a pair that I purchased in July 0f 2004 had a problem with the sole and heel delaminating... I sent the shoes back at my expense to Sperry as instructed by the 1-800 customer service representative to be either fixed or replaced as at the time of my call they were not a year old. Sperry tried to glue the sole and heel back together and then sent them back to me. The box was sent to them in early July and it arrived yesterday August 23, 2005 and as soon as I put the right shoe on it immediately delaminated again.

Beyond Great Customer Service -
The Zappos customer service crew give fantastic service and then went way beyond expectations. I recently ordered a pair of shoes for my boyfriend for his birthday and I could not decide between two sizes. Ultimately, I ordered the wrong size and had to return the shoes for exchange. Zappos not only had shipped the first pair for free, they shipped the replacement pair for free and sent a free return UPS label to return the incorrect shoes. This has got to be some of the very best customer service that I have received, anywhere. Thanks!! I will be a repeat customer and I will advertise verbally for you and your company!

The fit was great and comfortable. One shoe did have a long scratch across the top. This will happen, but it was a a surprise to see it. We needed the shoes and could not return them.

When I called the Zappos customer service line, I was immediately issued the new pair, which arrived AGAIN within two days! That was before I had the chance to even get the first pair in the return post. That's the best customer service I've ever had. Thank you Zappos. You have made a permanent customer out of me!
