Cute in a sex-kitten way, but...
... I found them completely uncomfortable. The leather is really stiff, the platform is unstable (it's not flat - it's concave!) and they run about a quarter size small... which is annoying, because no matter which size you get, it'll need pads or grips or stretching. And don't get me started on how squished my poor pinky toe got...
That said, the balance of the shoe from front to back is very good, and the heel lines up well with the heel of your foot so you can walk properly. The slope from the heel to the ball of your foot is in proportion. Would probably work best for those with slightly narrow feet.

Cute and Painful at the same time!
I bought these shoes at a great price in bronze. I love the way they make your feet look smaller than they really are. I received compliments all night. Unfortunately, they do not stay on your feet. The back slips off as you take steps....Ouch! By the end of the night I had toe cramps from trying to keep these shoes on. Would love to wear a second time, but not even inserts help these shoes stay put.

Fantastic!
Loads of compliments but I had to buy them a half size up to get them to fit right. I have them in pewter and black suede and they're beautiful! Didn't have the heel problem that some seem to have had but did think they're a little narrow up front. They were good to stand in for a few hours, but then started hurting, but that's expected in most heels. Definitely get a pair - they're great!

I have the black ones and they are fantastic. They hurt a little, but overall for the height they're not that bad. I have padded inserts that I use which help the problem of them popping off at the heel. Order your size or a size smaller. They go with everything.

I ordered these shoes a half size smaller based on the reviews. They fit perfectly and are comfortable considering the height of the heel. I think they look fabulous and my friends liked them too.

Great Look, Rough Fit -
I purchased this shoe in Pewter. The color is fantastic and look of the shoe is unique. Unfortunately, this shoe runs very large and sides are low. Not much for comfort, but look is great. Recommend purchasing 1/2 a size smaller.

I am quite disappointed with this shoe. It is narrow in the front and your heel slips out of the back. I read that from others but had hoped it wouldn't happen. They look great but they really need to correct the fit of these shoes. The height is great...but nothing works to keep the heel in. Small steps when wearing them; these are not for those of us who are always in a hurry. Heel inserts don't work.

These shoes are adorable - the absolute perfect round toe. I got them in my normal size in black leather but then exchanged them for a half size smaller in black suede. Like the suede much better, but even now the heel slips off on my smaller foot.
The platform and heel are perfect but definitely are meant for cuteness not for extended standing.

Striking in Suede, Winter Pumps -
I love these shoes--much, much prettier on, own them in both dark grey suede and black suede. Strikingly beautiful. They can be very comfortable for their height (which I love), but I did buy them 1/2 size larger than I usually wear, (a good idea with a closed pump if you are on your feet for hours).

Sexy, but strange fit -
This shoe looks great enough to be mistaken as a Prada every time I wear the pair into nice stores. It is very comfortable, considering the heel height. I purchased a 7 1/2 size in 2005, which is the size I usually buy for dress shoes. The toes are perfect, but the heel is so loose that I have to take tiny steps to look semi-chic. (Heel inserts don't even fill the gap.) I've just ordered a size 7 and hope that it will fit better in the heel.

Gorgeous shoes -
These shoes are beautiful and sexy. They make my feet look smaller (and I already have small feet). They work with jeans and that little black dress. The only problem I had was that even though they have narrow heels, they still wanted to slip off when I walked. I have extremely narrow heels, so that could be the problem. I put some heel pads in them, and that did the trick.

Yikes, could barely get my toes in!
I am so bummed that this shoe just didn't fit my foot, since this is the exact style I have been looking for. The leather was super smooth, as was the sole, so you may want to stick one of those Foot Petal adhesive things on the bottom for traction if you decide to go with this style. I could barely squeeze my toes into it, I think it runs rather narrow, or maybe my foot is too wide for Guess shoes? (This was the first pair I ever tried.) I tried an 8.5 since some said it runs big, but also tried the 9 (my usual size) and the 9 was just too tight all around, but I think if I tried a 9.5 my heel would be slipping out when I walked. They looked amazing on, but I just couldn't bear the pain for longer than 2 minutes. So I guess my search for a stylish non-cork-bottomed platform continues...

Very pretty, and comfortable, but no heel support, unless you get a half size smaller, but then if you have a medium or wide foot the toes have less space. But the arch support is great, and the heel is very comfortable. Overall, try it, if does not work, you can always send it back. :)

I got these on a GREAT sale and they are SOOO comfy and cute while still giving me the height I desire. They do tend to slip off the back of my feet as they run a little large but I still LOVE them!! You have GOT to get a pair!!

This is probably the sexiest pair of shoes I own, I get tons of compliments every time I wear them. I wouldn't necessarily say they are "comfortable" because, let's face it, what pair of 4 inch heels are comfortable, but they're not bad. I can wear them for a full 9 hr day at work with no problem. My only gripe about the shoe is that it runs a little big. I have inserts AND cotton stuffed in the front to make them fit. Maybe try a half size smaller then you usually wear. Either way, Zappos has an excellent return policy so you really can't go wrong! Love, love, love these shoes!!

This shoe looks great. My only problem was that the shoe length was a little too long so sometimes during the day as I was walking, the shoe would fling off. I had to concentrate on keeping them on my feet. Otherwise, I wore them all day the first day that I had them and comfort was great.

Beautiful shoe but not most comfortable -
I adore the look of this shoe and find that for its dramatic height (4" heel and platform), it is relatively easy to manage (anyone who recently read Cathy Horyn's article in the NY Times about the new platform trend and the impossibility of walking in most of these shoes can understand the joy of finding a platform that is walk-able). The height and the arch are definitely walk-able. However, there are some criticisms. First, the bottoms of the shoes are very slippery so invest in a non-stick pad to keep control of your steps. Also, I find that the length runs a bit large, so I had to buy foot petals to put inside the sole to push my foot towards the back. Despite the foot petal and the decent padding that comes in the shoe already, my feet still ache in them. I think the problem is that although the toe is rounded, it is still narrow and starts to suffocate one's toes after several hours of sitting or walking a few blocks. Overall, this is the type of shoe you can't really travel far in without discomfort, so bring a pair of flats to walk in and change into the Julia shoe once you reach your destination. They look great and receive tons of compliments, but your toes may pay the price with discomfort.

These shoes are funky and also beautiful they did feel a little small but nothing the shoe maker can't fix. I think they just take some time getting used to you have to break them in. But they are gorgeous. Originally I wanted black but they were out of stock so I ended up with the nut color and I am glad that I chose them. It's summer time and I already have so many black shoes.

Old Mother Hubbard had no idea!!!
As a mom, it’s really nice to feel sexy once in a while! Now I can actually match my 14 year old son's height without tip toeing. My husband has fallen in love again with my ankles, and my daughter wants to borrow MY shoes. Look out PTA here I come!

Gorgeous -wonderful shoes -
I have them in nut, I adore them. They are the only close-toed and close-heeled shoes I have and thank god for the platform that should be on every adorable pump...yet isn't. Man do these ever fall off though... like every step is a battle to keep the shoe on. It's not that they're too big, they just have very little holding on to your foot. Nonetheless... beautiful. But if you're unsure and keeping your shoes on at all times is a factor to you... you might be better off with a different style. But of course, w/ Zappos great shipping policy, it really couldn't be a better way to try at least...
