I didn\'t expect them to be so comfortable - the air sole is fantastic and the whole shoe is awesome soft and well fit. Good stuff.

I got my husband a pair of these to wear for our wedding (on the beach) 2 years ago. They are his favorite. He does not want to wear anything else. This is actually his second pair I'm buying on here. I know these shoes won't be around forever and his first pair will eventually wear out, although they still look great now. He loves them because they are comfortable and as an added bonus, they have a bottle opener on the bottom.

Very nice! I got these for my husband for his birthday, he saw a friend wearing them and wanted them because of the bottle opener on the bottom of the shoes. Now he has a cool party trick, but they are also very nice shoes and very good quality. He reports that they are also very comfortable.

I love these slip flops. I have bad arches so I always wear my orthotics. But these flip-flops have great arch support. I can wear them for hours and hours and walk miles and miles and my feet don't hurt. If you are a half size, I'd round down rather than up. I'm an 11.5 usually and I bought the 11's. They fit great. I had a pair of 12s previously and I could never drive with them because they were just too long. They start out fitting snug but they stretch. I love them. When I wear out this pair I'll be back for another one.

Awesome! Excellent fit, so comfortable, can wear these forever. I thought the bottle opener was cool, then I realized where it has been and don't think I want it opening my bottle of beer, unless I am desperate.

Great flip-flop! As soon as I got them I put them on because I did need to break them in a bit. I have wider feet (EE) so after about a day, the strap stretched out sufficiently for a comfy fit. Extremely comfortable to walk in, and they provide plenty of support. The only thing I am not entirely satisfied with, but isn\'t that big of a deal is the color. The picture on the site is actually darker than what I received, but I still really enjoy them.

Once they were broken in they are wonderful, very comfortable! (This comes from a guy who HATED flip-flops in the past) Gotta love the bottle opener too, it has come in handy quite a few times.

Very comfortable and durable. The one issue I have is my big toe is very large and it hangs over the side a bit, however it doesn't really cause any discomfort.

The Reef Fanning Leather is a comfortable, well constructed sandal. The heel support and arch supports are excellent. The upper leather is soft and more attractive than the Reef Fanning sandal. I wear a size 11 in a sandal and this product is true to both size and width. I definitely would recommend this sandal to anyone looking for a well built, comfortable sandal with excellent heel and arch support. I have ordered many shoes from Zappos and though they are not the cheapest in price they make up for it in great service and fast free shipping both ways.

Living in South Florida, I suppose you could say I am a sandal expert! In the past 5 years, I have owned dozens of different brands. I've had a good chance to break these sandals in and would qualify them as mediocre, at best. The thong between my toes is stitched in such a way that sometimes it is abrasive. The cut of the shoe is a little strange - even though the size seems perfect, the thong is set forward a little too far. This means that sometimes my toes are "hanging ten" over the front edge, while plenty of room remains at the rear part of the shoe. I'm not fond of the rubber insole - leather insoles do a much better job of wicking perspiration. And finally, the little bottle openers (embedded in the sole of each sandal) are often really annoying as they click when they strike a piece of pavement that's not perfectly smooth. That may sound trivial, but believe me - if you wore them while taking a walk on a quiet night, the clicking is a real pain. Besides, who on earth would ever want to drink a bottle that had been opened by the sole of their shoe? Think about all the crud you sometimes walk through...dog poopie, big old loogies, yuck. Not on these lips...

Great shoe...my husband LOVES Reef flips. These were a little snug when he first got them but stretched out and fit to size. How can you have too many pairs of flips with a bottle opener on the bottom??

Reef flip flops are all fantastic. I own many pairs and often give them as gifts. My son and husband like them too! They are very comfortable; your feet don't hurt or get "tired" wearing them. This particular pair has a bottle opener (cute, but will probably never use) so it made for a fun 21st birthday gift. If you are considering buying a pair... don't wait, you'll love them too!

Great sandal!
The Fanning Leather is the most comfortable pair of sandals I own (and I have two other pairs of great Reef sandals). The footbed is so cushiony and has great arch support.

Having plantar fasciitis I was skeptical about any sandals having enough support. I have been pleasantly surprised, and wear these all day without a problem.

Still the best...
I began wearing Fannings about 4 years ago, and I buy a new pair (or 2) every year or so. I bought the white leather versions, and I am very pleased. The look probably won’t be for everyone, they are rather bright before you wear them in, but I love them. Comfort loses 1 star because the toe pillar on the leather version is slightly more rigid than the fabric version, so ever-so-slightly less comfortable.

These are GREAT!
My son wears a size 16 shoe and has very flat feet. I ordered these Reefs and hoped they would work. As soon as he put them on, it was a big sigh of relief. They fit perfect!

Position of the leather toe strap seems to be just a bit off. After wearing them for a while it seems ok, but if anything could be improved that would be it. Overall my husband is happy with this sandal. It has a great sole on it and actually seems to have moderate arch support. Overall construction is very sturdy, which is important especially when you wear a shoe size 17. We were very happy to find this shoe in this size as it is difficult to shop for the very large sizes.

The beer opener has already come in handy. The footbed is very comfortable. The "thong" strap is a little uncomfortable at first, seems to be getting broken in and doesn't irritate my foot as much anymore.

Versatile sandal -
I purchased these sandals for my teenage son in size 16. The bottle opener in the sole was a novelty that quickly diminished. My son indicated the sandal felt a little narrow; however, he has a wide foot. He wears the sandals everywhere. The sandals have held up well so far. Shoe selection in his size is limited. We would recommend these sandals and would purchase again. Dealing with Zappos is always a pleasure.
