Like wearing tennis shoes -
I just ordered a pair of Rockport boots from Zappos but wanted to comment on these shoes…I must say they are the most comfortable shoes I ever had. They do look a like they are made of plastic to the eye and not leather, but for work with casual pants and a polo shirt they are fine. You could wear them with a suit; they just don't look like expensive leather shoes like a Johnson and Murphy. They are very comfortable and I would recommend them.

I love Zappos, it's so easy in every way, I found a size 12 extra wide, something that even Rockport.com did not carry in stock. You guys ROCK! You have a customer for life!

Very good all around dress shoe.
I purchased this shoe because I wanted to feel comfortable in a high quality, well appointed shoe. I think Rockport closely hits the mark with this one. It is a little stiffer than my previous Rockport wingtip, but it also seems more substantial as well. In time it should break in well.

I enjoy these shoes. I'm on line now; because, a can't find the shoes locally. I concur with others who have compared these to wearing sneakers to work. The sole is very flexible, making this magic possible.

Zappos & Rockport - Awesome -
I'm sorry it took until I turned 40 to discover Rockport. Never thought such a soft leather, rubber sole shoe could look dressy enough for a suit. Was I ever wrong! It looks as god as any dress shoe Ive ever owned and paid top dollar for. Thing is, this Rockport dress shoe is also like wearing a sneaker, disguised as a dress shoe! Im hooked and am about to buy seven more pairs of shoes from Zappos, each to replace whatever style shoe I have now, both dress & casual. You must put these Rockports on your feet to believe it!....ZAPPOS continues to be incredible with receiving the shoes in just one business day and always perfect service!

I felt your company did a great job in getting my shoes to me in a timely fashion. The shoes were great. I had no problem with the fit and would re-order from your company again. I have purchased Rockports in the past and have found them long wearing. A good pair of shoes.

Odd sizing!
This shoe is sized quite large, especially for Rockport. I found the toebox to be too low, and returned the shoes. I have a narrow, low-volume foot.
Zappos, on the other hand, is great, what with the no-shipping-cost return policy. With my foot, they are about the only place I can find a decent shoe. Thanks!

The lightest shoe available!
Since I am a bit older it is efficient for me the wear the lightest shoes available. These I have found here in Holland; Rockport shoes and I selected their Dressport types.

I buy nothing but Rockport shoes. They're lightweight, comfortable, and always look good. And they are reasonably priced. This shoe is excellent to wear to work.

Actually, a good fit for narrow feet. However, the 13 was too long, must be a 13.5, at least. I don't know why Rockport can't make a size consistent across all their products. I then ordered the 12 and it fit fine. Weird.
