White crew socks -
About as cool to wear as a good mostly cotton crew sock, but softer. Way, way, way better than all the cottonless wicking socks such as the Feetures brand socks, that wick the moisture into your shoe and create a wet stinky mess.

Nice warm sport sock -
Thick, warm and cushy, yet fits nice and tight across the arch. Won't slide down into your boot. Lowered the stars for look, as it's not a dress sock, it looks more like a sport sock.

A high quality sock -
A little tighter fit than I would have expected, but they are comfortable to wear. They look like no other sock, so it’s nice to be able to match the pairs easily. I have dozens of black socks, because unless I'm wearing shorts, it’s all I wear. This is a great office working sock.

Socks with arch support!
These are my favorite socks. They have extra support across the arches of the foot and to not rub at all over the toe area. Love them! Love Zappos too - I ordered online on a Monday late morning and the boxes arrived the very next day in the afternoon - free of shipping charges!

Good mild weather sock for moutain bike riding and walking.
I use these socks with light trail shoes (Garmont, Nagevi XCR) for both walking (1hour) and mountain bike(2.5hours) riding each day. The socks feel really comfortable. They don't get too hot even when it is pretty warm outside and I am walking or riding hard. These walking socks are a thinner than the light hiking socks by Dahlgren (medium weight.) They have some cushion too. They are excellent socks for just walking around too; but they keep your feet pretty dry too when active.

Walking or Sitting Socks -
I've been a Dahlgren sock fan for years, and regret that it is often hard to find their models that are suitable for office wear [versus trail hikes in the Adirondacks]. These fit snuggly, don't bunch up, and are comfortable in my relatively cold office.

These are great socks, my husband is a fireman and hikes in our mountains, these socks are thick, comfortable and protective for active lifestyles.

Yummy socks -- warm and toasty!
I ordered these socks in black and in white. They are so cozy on those cold days, especially when I'm out walking my dogs. The good thing about wool is that your feet can breathe, so there is no odor. One word of caution - you must wash these with care, in cold water. This is no big deal for my dark socks, since I wash dark clothes in cold water anyway, but for the whites it's not so easy. Oh well, it's a small price to pay for what you get.
