Allrounder says it all!
I was looking for a sandal that would allow me to go from running daily errands right into square dancing the night away in comfort, and this shoe fits the bill to a "T" for me. Those square dancing shoes and even other sandals leave my feet and legs aching at the end of the evening, and my running shoes are just too clunky (albeit very comfortable) to dance in.
Other shoes recommended by reviewer: Most Mephisto shoes and a lot of Clarks shoes work for me; and, of course, New Balance for running.

Mephisto’s saved my poor tired feet -
Thank god for Zappos and their wonderful service. I have been having foot problems most of my life, and found Zappos website. By reading the remarks of other readers, I was able to find a wonderful pair of shoes that are comfortable. They are Mephisto’s Allrounders, and I love them! Thank you Zappos for your wonderful service.

I am moderately happy with this shoe. I was surprised at how many reviewers said it had excellent arch support, since to my mind it has very little. Other reviewers complained about the footbed material, which tends to make the feet perspire. I didn't think this would apply to me, because my feet tend to be cold and dry, but when I actually tried the shoe, I had to agree with them. On the plus side, the shoe is sturdy and the straps are comfortable and adjustable, and the nonslip sole is very practical. As far as looks go, I find the shoe to be not as clunky as most sports/comfort sandals, and looks okay with casual denim skirts. I'm forever on the lookout for the "perfect" summer shoe, and this isn't quite it.

My third pair of Allrounder Mephisto Clipper -
Without doubt the most comfortable sandal I've ever worn. I can walk long-distances in cool comfort.
The look is not the most streamlined in the world but the ability to adjust the straps 3-ways more than makes up for it.

Very nice -
This sandal is very nice except that the footbed tends to get a little hot in very hot weather. Makes for some sweaty feet. The straps are extremely comfortable and totally adjustable. Not too much arch support. I expected more from Mephisto.

Will accommodate wide feet!
Very comfortable shoe--feels like I'm practically barefoot and is very light. Good quality workmanship and nice stying. I have wide feet and this sandal was able to fit without problems. Unfortunately, my feet are also flat and need good arch support, which this shoe does not have. If you have normal or decent arches, this is your shoe. If you have flat feet or plantar fasciitis and need good support, keep shopping.

At Last- the Best!
This shoe cannot be found everywhere. It is the most perfect trekking sandal- out of the box perfect comfort. Best combination of style, quality, fit, and comfort. All Mephisto runs short- so order up a half to a whole size.

Mephisto Allrounder Clipper -
These are terrific sandals. All the adjustable straps easily fine-tune the fit, and the soft, yet firm, foot bed create a well fitting and comfortable shoe. My feet are very troublesome due to MS, so these work very well for me and are very comfortable through long periods of wear. Only one minor complaint--the foot bed, which is not leather, tends to get a little sweaty after wearing for long periods. Nonetheless, it is pleasant feeling for the most part. As always, Zappos is the best. It remains my favorite web store of all. A review of my order history can easily demonstrate my loyalty to Zappos. I tell everyone about Zappos.

Comfortable good looking sandal -
Since I already had the Mephisto All-Rounder Niro model which my feet loved (I have to wear sport orthotics for fallen arches in all my shoes), I decided to take a chance on Mephisto sandals and they didn't disappoint me...maybe a little less arch support than the Niro but that's because they're an open sandal instead of a closed sneaker/shoe. Much much better than Ecco sandals I bought last year before a Disney trip that made my feet hurt. I wore these sandals for two days to Disney and Universal Studios and my feet didn't complain once!

A very comfortable walking sandal. I have a narrow foot, but with the adjustable straps, I was able to tighten them enough to fit. I needed to order one size larger than usual. I wish that they came in half sizes.

Very comfortable shoe. Love the 3 velcro straps, able to adjust to your foot. I hope they keep this style and add more colors.

Ah, comfort!
I've been a size 7 since 1974. The fit is true for me. I'm a mature nurse with sore feet. I only wear Mephistos.
I just received mine, and I'm buying another pair.

Comfy, but tight -
Nice casual sandal for jeans and shorts only. I have a narrow foot but found that I had to let the straps out a bit or they were too tight. I wear a 7 in shoes and bought a 7 in the sandal. Sometimes I buy 6.5 in sandals or they are too big, but not this one. I think it runs a bit on the small side overall. Am sure glad I didn't go for the 6.5 in this one, in fact I wonder if the 7.5 would have been a better fit????

The larger size fits!!
Great, comfortable shoe! The 38 was too small, but the 39 was perfect. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered a 39.

Great shoe, if it only came in half sizes -
On my left foot - the shoe fits great. On my right foot outside strap hit the side of my foot and it is not as comfortable. Arch is good. Sizing is strange. I usually take an 8 1/2. In this shoe the 38 is a bit too small and the 39 a bit too large.

The Allrounder-Mephisto Clipper is like walking on a cloud. I wore them for the first time yesterday, and they fit beautifully,
Comfortably and came off and on very easy. I plan on getting the black as soon as I can. I walk in the mall when the weather is cold and the support for my arch was just right.
