YES! It's good to see them back in stock! I bought my last pair in 2003 and they're still holding strong. I usually wear an 8.5 women's but as with all my Puma shoes I had to go a full size up. They're super comfortable and great for walking around. Now I can finally have a backup pair!

Not the same - These shoes seem flimsier than the Tretorn Nylites I have had for the past 10-12 years. My old ones were padded somewhat with terry cloth, which made them very comfortable. These have no padding and the cushioning around the ankle is not as thick. Also, I think the decoration on the side is plastic now but I think it used to be leather. The size seemed to run a little large.

Excellent boot, but there were a few problems. The sole is super soft, which makes it comfortable, but it wears quickly and when walking on rocks or anything like that (maybe even boulders), every surface can be felt through the sole. Sometimes it is actually a little painful, which is not okay for a boot. Also the rear sole on one of my boots started to come off, and now the inside footbed of that shoe is actually sinking in at the back of the heel. Now my heel actually goes inside the sole, which bulges out to the side with each step (because it's so soft). Anyway, the soles are terrible, unless you're walking on fairly forgiving terrain, and unless your sole comes off.

Happy I found a source for Tretorn -
I wore Tretorn tennis shoes in the 70's and 80's. They fit my foot like none other. I particularly enjoy the fact that the heel surround fits my foot and that I have all day comfort wearing them.

The tennis shoe looks cute and old fashioned like a tennis shoe from the sixties or seventies, however, there was insufficient arch and heel support, making my feet ache. Also, the shoe was too narrow across the upper part of my foot just before the toes, although fit great through the toes and heel.

Comfortable just like I have always remembered -
I bought the Tretorn Nylite Canvas shoe in pink to wear while attending an LPGA Women's Golf Clinic. Since I have never golfed, I decided to go the Tennis shoe route as I knew I would wear them again. The pink Tretorn Nylite looked great with my Lilly outfit and I did not slip or loose grip on the greens. If I do decide to explore golf more, then I will purchase golf shoes.

They are definitely not the same!
I have worn Tretorn’s for years now, seeking them out wherever I could find them. The manufacturer has changed the shoe little by little, making them lighter (which was good) and cheapening certain details. They remained comfortable, nevertheless, until they made this last change, which was to remove the padding around the back of the foot (and reduce the price). But there's absolutely no support for the ankle anymore. I'm hoping they'll come to their senses and start making a sturdier shoe!

Tretorn - not the shoe I remember -
After not being able to buy Tretorn’s at local stores in a few years, I was excited to purchase a pair through Zappos. However, when the shoes arrived, they were not at all the same quality I had been used to. The fabric is much thinner on the uppers and the laces are thin and useless. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the shoe. While they look the same at first glance, the quality has deteriorated over the years. I am returning this product.

Not like the "old" shoe -
I used to love these canvas Tretorn’s for tennis and everything else. Today's shoe is very nice but not as thick or as cushioned - especially around the ankle and in foot bed. Not one I would feel comfortable in barefoot now. But with socks it's okay.

Tretorn's Not What they Used To Be -
I had worn Tretorn Adiddis tennis shoes for many years. And suddenly they became hard to obtain. Local stores no longer carried them. I was told by one specialty sports store that the reason it no longer carried them was that they had been taken over by a new company and were now manufactured in Europe, and the fit was no longer reliable. I stopped buying them. Recently, I discovered Zappos carried them and decided to try them again.
While the fit is good, they do not seem to be of the same quality that I remember. They are lighter weight and appear to be less substantial. They do not have the same support, cushion, or comfort they originally had.
Although somewhat disappointed, I am willing to give them a try.

A blast from the past! I wore these tennis shoes when I played tennis in college 30 years ago, and they are still as stylish as they were then. Unfortunately, they don't have much support or padding, so they can't compete with today's state-of-the-art tennis shoes. I'll wear them for recreational use, not actually playing tennis.

Not what I used to have-
It is OK- but, much cheaper feeling and looking than the one I wore in the 70s. But, it is light and comfortable- and looks better than most of the shoes on the market.

Little white canvas tennis shoes -
I have worn these particular tennis shoes for about 25 years and they no longer have a moderate arch support or well padded tongue and heel BUT they look good. For the woman with a long foot this shoe does do some minimization of length and it's not "clunky" in appearance.

TRETORN SNEAKERS -

I think that I shall never see a thing as lovely as a Tretorn -
I liked the free and the fast shipping. Tretorns are hard to find and the price was competitive although not the best. I also have to wonder why Tretorn (not Zappos) is putting labels outside of their sneaker.

NOT THE SAME TRETORN -
They have changed the Tretorns. The OLD Tretorns where a thicker canvas and not as long and narrow looking a sneaker. I am disappointed. I had hoped to recapture some of my youth with a new pair of Tretorns. They are going back tomorrow.

Tretorns - not quite the same -
I was hoping for the same Tretorns of my high school years, but the ones I received were a little bit different. The comfort of the soles was the same, but the shoe's uppers were made of canvas...not the padded soft cotton I remember. They rubbed a blister across 3 toes (I always wear them without socks) where the shoes bend. I am pleased to have a pair again, but I wish the uppers were the same soft, cushy I remember.

Stylish and Comfortable -
I admit I am reliving my youth through these sneakers, but they are still the super comfortable sneaker I remember. They fit true to size and the canvas upper doesn't make my feet feel too hot. The only criticism I would have would be the inside and the foot pad are no longer cloth, but nylon; overall, I am satisfied with my purchase - just what I wanted for summer a lightweight shoe to wear without socks. Oh yeah, I ordered the shoe on Tuesday and received it the next day at no extra charge!

Tretorns are back -
I am enjoying this shoe as much now as when I used to play tennis in them years ago. Not as heavy or padded as a walking/running shoe but have a nice look when you just want to wear tennis shoes.

Not my old Tretorns -
I was a little disappointed when I received my new Tretorns. They felt different, so I dug my old pair out of the back of my closet. My old ones are lined in terry cloth for comfy no-sock days. My old ones have a more substantial sole and arch support. Even the shoelaces are sturdier. These are more like Keds. Not worth the money.

Great Casual Sneaker -
The color wasn't as white as I expected (or remembered), I always bought these shoes years ago, but they seemed to have disappeared for a while. They are comfortable for running errands and look cute with jeans or shorts, but I wouldn't consider them all day walking shoes.
