Cute!
I ordered these shoes for my trip to Ireland and only wore them once in 10 days. My running shoes ended up being more comfortable for long days on my feet. These are super cute and are exactly what I wanted although they are not as comfortable as I had hoped-they feel great at first, but the toe box is stiff. These feel just a little too small after a few hours on your feet. Arch support could be better, but it's fine. If you have trouble with your feet, I'd try something else.

One fabulous casual shoe -
I called the company, after reading, "ECCO and Zappos recommend fitting this style a half size smaller than your usual shoe size". Did they mean lengthwise or width-wise? Although that question went unanswered, I bought them anyway, in my normal size. I take a 10 1/2 W or D. These shoes fit perfectly. The velcro bands across the instep and the heel are adjustable, and the construction cradles the foot in comfort and support throughout the day. I can use an orthotic or the removable lining, depending on my need. The shoes are attractive and lack the chunky, oversize look that many of us put up with to have good support in a walking shoe. I bought the blue, but wanted the pink and white which was OOS. The colors and the construction make the feet look normal or even smaller, which is a miracle in my case! I have had many compliments on "the cute shoes". I would highly recommend this shoe to anyone who wants a comfortable, cute, casual shoe for walking or being on your feet for hours at a time.

I love this shoe!
I walk a lot and am always looking for something really comfortable, but stylish. My perfect shoe is a running shoe that looks good enough to go out to dinner in (with pants of course). These shoes are the closest I have found. As comfortable to walk in as my running shoes and pretty cute to boot, especially with black socks. I went down a size per the recommendation (10-10 1/2 versus my usual 11) and they fit perfect. I highly recommend these shoes.

Not quite as comfy as they look.
Love the look of these shoes but was a little disappointed in the lack of cushiness...but does work well with inserts.

As good as it gets -
I was surprised how comfy these shoes are. I use them to walk about 3 miles each day. Haven't had a blister anywhere. Also gentle on the heels...no prob with callousness!

FANTASTIC!
I am a heels-with-matching-purse kind of girl who avoids walking beyond four NYC blocks. Since I got these shoes, I have been walking and walking and walking! These are comfy from the first second out of the box (note: get one size smaller for perfect fit). They are stylish and go well with anything; I even use them to walk home from work in a suit (15 NYC blocks!). This purchase got my husband to check out Zappos as well. Whatever got his wife to walk must be fantastic indeed.

Best buy ever - very comfortable!
I bought a pair almost two years ago when I visited OR. I wear them nearly everyday and they still look good. The insole can be taken out and washed. This is also good if you need to replace with orthotic insoles. I didn't find I needed half a size smaller. In fact I just bought a second pair in Euro size 40, my first pair is a 39. I'll probably buy a 3rd pair as Ecco have discontinued this style.

Very Comfortable -
I have high arches and most shoes make my feet hurt after a few hours. Not these shoes - I wore them all day and my feet feel great! They run a little wide, but are easily adjusted with the velcro straps. I love the light and airy feel (compared to a regular sneaker) and great arch support. I will buy these in other colors. Lengthwise, they felt true to size. I wear a size 7 and I ordered size 38.

Love these shoes!
I was looking for a shoe that I would be able to wear in the summer without socks. Also, I have plantar fasciitis and have an ortho insert. These shoes do run wide, so it worked just perfect. I love the look and the comfort and the support is great. I ordered the gray/pink color and am planning on going back and ordering another color, maybe black.

At first I loved these shoes but after a week I now regret dropping the $ on them. I wish I could return them but I've worn them so I'm stuck. Oh well. Biggest complaint... I feel like I have to re-learn how to walk in these shoes. I feel like my foot-step is falling so awkwardly in these shoes and as such I'm developing shin splints. Ugh. Also, although they're vented, that doesn't prevent them from becoming stinky. You need socks but then you look dorky.

Not A Good Looking Shoe...
I was very disappointed with the look of this shoe; they seemed like a fun, young, walking shoe, but they are definitely not fun or young. Because of this I gave them to my mother-in-law who absolutely loves them. They were however extremely comfortable.

Wonderful Walking Shoe by Ecco -
These are comfortable right out of the box! If you are in need of comfortable shoes in a jiffy (perhaps due to an upcoming vacation or the like), give these a try. They certainly run larger than marked by at least a half size, so please take care to order accordingly - I am a true size 6 with a slightly wider foot and the size 36 fits like a 6.5. I put in my inserts and they fit almost perfectly. They are very roomy in the toe box and are adjustable to a degree with the 2 velcro straps (can't believe I now own a pair of shoes with Velcro, but I will admit they are much easier to put on and take off than typical lace-up sneakers). I abhor wearing sneakers, but I needed to find something cute and comfortable due to an injury to my left leg. These are quite cute for a sneaker/walking shoe and I like how they look peeking out from under my jeans. I have the off white/orange combo and they are very neutral and manage to be feminine, which is very important to me. I only have 2 issues with this shoe: Firstly, I was surprised with the lack of arch support. To make these shoes truly comfortable, you will probably need to put in inserts. Secondly, the insoles are not made of a breathable material and can cause sweatiness. Last, but not least... Zappos provides the best online shopping experience! I have been ordering from Zappos for the past 3 years and have never been disappointed with their service. No one else comes close and all other online businesses should look to Zappos as an example.

Great fun shoe!
I really love the shoe. Fit is good. I have a bunion; however, and find I need to wear a bunion protector in the shoe to make it as comfortable as I like.

These shoes are adorable and have proven to be super supportive, just as good as regular sneakers. With a pair of black socks, they even seem pretty fashionable with jeans. Love them!

I absolutely love the shoes! I wear a big 11 or an 11 1/2 in women's shoes. I bought a 42 with the knowledge that the shoe runs big. For me, it's perfect. I can wear them with pants, jeans, capris, or shorts. They are a nice, supportive shoe that doesn't look "orthopedic”, but is very comfortable.

These were comfortable the minute I put them on. The velcro straps make it easy to get just the right fit. The only problem I had was a little rubbing where the strap attached to the shoe (it seemed stiffer there). Otherwise, these have been great for walking.

Great with my orthotics -
I have this in the black/grey color combo, as well as the brown/green. It easily fits an orthotic, gives great support, and looks far less clunky than wearing regular athletic shoes or other orthopedist-approved shoes.

I bought these shoes for a trip out west that would include walking on rugged terrain and city streets. The shoe performed equally well for both. They run true to size and have plenty of room in the toe box which I like. I also like the fact that you can adjust heel and arch straps. A little more arch support would make these shoes perfect. I received many compliments on their look. No breaking in was required.

This shoe has been a big relief for my Morton's Neuroma. The stability in the arch area is key. Very comfortable and cute too - even though I wear a large size (11). Thank you to Ecco for making a shoe that finally makes my feet feel good!!!!!!!

I love my Ecco Performance sandals SOOO much; I couldn't wait to try another Ecco Performance shoe. Wow, was I disappointed!! My foot was literally sliding around all over the place. They are SOOO wide, it's ridiculous. Even a smaller size would not have helped. I guess these shoes might be great if you have big, wide feet. If you have normal feet like mine, though, forget it!

Too wide and my toes went to sleep -
Again, I loved the look of these shoes in place of a regular tennis shoe. I wore them around the house most of a day but my toes started to feel numb. I decided it was from the toe box tipping up to much on the front of the shoe. I have a narrow foot and they would work with socks but I wouldn't want to wear a sock all the time, with the strap I could keep them on but it looked kind of funny with my skinny feet.

I am choosy about my shoes; having plantar fasciitis and back problems, there are not many shoes that feel great while looking great. This shoe certainly steps up to the plate and hits a home run in both categories! So comfy, easy to put on and take off and is very stylish for a thirty something mom on the go. Contrary to other reviews, this shoe was true to size for me...going down a size was not necessary. Zappos is amazing, too. I received my order within 36 hours from the time I ordered online. I was upgraded to next day shipping automatically! Love this online store!

Cute, but need insole -
My daughter and I both got these in the pink and blue. They are super cute. My feet need more support. I am 58 and work 12 hr shifts at a hospital, so I find simple added insoles help a great deal. The shoes are cute and comfy enough for off the job with inserts. I would need better athletic shoes for major walking, but these will do for every day stuff. Also, my other daughter wants a pair. She liked hers in another color, but aromatic feet may need to be addressed with foot powder if worn with bare feet.

X-Treme Jane Rocks!!
I needed a comfortable shoe to wear to work after foot surgery, and ended up getting the X-Treme Jane in the Delphin/Shadow white which is light blue and white. I liked it so much and it IS extremely comfortable that I got another pair in the Atmosphere/Petrol which is tan and medium sort of teal blue. The colors looked true to the pictures. It is also wider in the toe area which worked out great for me. Highly recommend!!
