I have a pair in coral and love them so much that I bought a pair in brown. I have wide feet and wear orthotics, which the Hawkeyes accommodate well (the shoes have very little arch support of their own, so for me the orthondics are a must with them). I love how they look with jeans. They feel well-constructed. Great service, as always, from Zappos.

I wanted to like this shoe...
And I do like it, for the most part. I like the look, and it's fairly comfortable. Sitting. It's just not comfortable walking. The sole is thin, with nearly no padding...and the shoe isn't really deep enough to add an orthotic.

Not Quite -
There's room in the toe box and the lacing goes far enough down to get a good fit for my wide foot BUT the uppers are so much stiffer than the sole that they feel peculiar. They're clunky even though you can feel every pebble underfoot. I can't imagine what these shoes would be good for, and I wish I could return them. I kept walking and hoping.

Cute, but not as comfy as I hoped!
I received many compliments on this shoe (mostly from random strangers). It is cute with jeans and great for running errands. Unfortunately, it was not supportive enough for all day walking. By the end of my vacation, the ball of my foot felt like I was walking on concrete!

AMAZINGLY COMFY!
First of all, I ordered these shoes after 9pm on Tuesday 3/20. They were on my doorstep on Wednesday at 4pm! How amazing is that? Talk about quick delivery! I LOVE ZAPPOS! OK, now for the shoes -- so very comfortable. I bought them for an upcoming trip to Disney. Lots of all day walking. These shoes definitely fit the bill and I am looking forward to wearing them there. I tried them on when I got home this evening and wore them for about 2 hours and I forgot I had them on! The fit is perfect, nice and roomy and comfortable. BUY THEM! I got the pearl and they are very nice looking.

I bought this shoe in Pearl and it is fantastic. I work in a vet office and we have cement floors and this shoe really helps my legs from aching. I used to come home and put slippers on and now I don't have to.

I just received my Born "Hawkeye" shoes. These things are wonderful!! They sure are unique looking, but SO comfy! They feel like slippers. I ordered these in the Pearl color. They look so cool with jeans. I will definitely order again! Not only will I order more "Born" shoes, I will also be ordering from Zappos! You guys are awesome! I had never ordered from Zappos before. I saw these shoes in another magazine and found them on Zappos for a much cheaper price, plus I got them the next day at no additional cost! The shoes are so comfortable. I will definitely order BORN'S again.

These shoes are very comfortable. The style isn’t bad either for Born. (I think Born makes some ugly shoes!) I wear them to work for 10 hours a day and my feet feel great when I’m done. They arrived to my doorstep in 1 day!!!!

I love this shoe; it's cute, well made and extremely comfortable. However, what deserves even bigger kudos is Zappos. Zappos shipped my order the same day and upgraded the shipping to overnight. The upgrade was on their on volition. I highly recommend Zappos.

Great work-on-your-feet shoe -
This is my third pair of Hawkeyes. I work on my feet 12 hours a day and find these very comfortable and they look great with pants. I think these are a tad bit wider than normal but not so they are uncomfortable or too loose.

A Different kind of comfort -
Dryz insole feels different but wonderful, a relief for sweaty feet. Beautifully constructed shoe has nice wide toe bed and stitching that doesn't irritate a bunion. Very little arch support, but they can accommodate small inserts. Cute, too!

Every expectation met -
I have only owned one other pair of Born shoes in my life, and that was many years ago. I had forgotten how soft the footbed is! I feel like I'm walking on soft carpet with every step. I've only had them for two days now, and the only complaint I have is that the right side of my right shoe bumps my ankle bone slightly and on the back of my right foot, but not enough to be too painful. They may take a couple of days to break in completely, but it's really worth it. They look a lot like the old bowling shoes that everyone tries to copy (but MUCH more comfortable). If your feet are very narrow I don't think these would work for you. I am also extremely pleased with Zappos. Excellent price and service!

Feels like a comfy pair of slippers!
When I received these shoes I wasn't sure about the look, but they are so comfortable, I had to keep them. The look has grown on me, and I've gotten a few compliments. They're great for walking around or being on your feet for a long time. Another plus of this shoe is it’s great ventilation. My feet feel comfortable in these shoes even if I've been wearing them all day.

I like this shoe, but I wouldn't purchase another pair. They are fine to wear to the movies, out to dinner or somewhere that you aren't going to be doing a lot of walking. They have very little arch support. My left shoe was comfortable, but the right shoe took a little breaking in to make it feel comfortable. It's a nice jeans shoe, but Born probably has other styles that would be more comfortable.
