These sandals are great. I was a bit leary when I read the other reviews that talked about a larger size and that I had ordered my regular size of "D" in 10 1/2, but when I got the sandals, they fit great. There was no need for a larger size at all. They are extremely comfortable and don\'t slip on my feet like other sandals. \r\n\r\nI highly recommend for walking or wandering around stores. That blunt toe that is part of most Keene\'s takes a little getting used to, but fit and comfort are more of what matters.

First timer buying a Keen product. Very happy with my choice! I am going to SE Asia and the right shoe is very important. I have done business with Zappos once before; service was and is superior. Their price is not the lowest, but for my money, there is no better deal out there. Pay the small premium and then shop with complete confidence. By the way, take the advice of other reviewers and buy this product a half size up. They are absolutely right.

I bought these shoes for my husband to wear on a trip to Italy. He has a wide foot and is sometimes hard to fit. He absolutely loved these shoes. They did not need any break-in in time at all and we walked alot. They are easy to get on and off and would highly recommend these shoes.

This is my third pair of Keen shoes and my second in the Venice style. I like these even better than my first pair of Venice shoes, particularly the softer material on the surface under my foot. I wear these all summer, without socks, and find them to be very comfortable and practical, as well as stylish. I have never worn any other kind of shoe in the summer since I discovered Keen shoes.

I really like these shoes. They are comfortable right out of the box. Do yourself a favor and order them 1/2 size bigger. I didn't and had to return them. The good news is that I got my replacement shoes the next day! Zappos customer service is the best!

This is my fourth pair of Keens. By far the Venice is my favorite as far as comfort. I love these shoes. They run a tad bit small, so I would order a 1/2 or whole size up. It just depends on the foot. The only drawback about these shoes is that rocks and debris are constantly getting inside so I am always having to take them off and shake out the stuff. Otherwise, great shoe. I would love to have one in every color. So far I have dark brown, black, and blue.

This is my second pair of Keens in the Venice style. They are more comfortable on my wide feet than their other styles. I have walked all over Europe’s cobblestone streets in my other pair and found them extremely comfortable and easy on my feet. This pair is equally comfortable and works well on Anchorage’s hiking trails, but only in the summer. I usually wear an 8.5 triple E, but a 9 D in these works just fine.

The first time I tried these sandals on they felt perfect! The support and comfort is unmatched with any other footwear I own. These are the only pair of footwear that doesn't need added orthotic support - period! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants true comfort.

Great Sandal and Thanks Zappos!
Ordered these fantastic Keen Venice sandal hybrids the morning of the 4th and by 6:30 on the 5th I had received them! My 10 year old Clarks sandals had seen better days and Clarks had discontinued that particular model, so I thought I'd give these a try. Felt fairly comfortable when I first put them on, and in the course of 6 hrs I couldn't tell they were on my feet. Very comfortable. I own nothing but size 10EE shoes and the Keen 10.5 fits me perfectly. Adjustment is easy and generous enough to wear socks if you so desire. Definitely order up half a size. Excellent arch support, as well. Only had these for a few hours. We'll see how they fare down the road. Will update...

What you order is what you get. My husband and I live on a Lake and during the summer these sandals are indispensable. Good support, protection for the toes. A great water shoe.

Pretty cool shoes!
I've had them for about a month now. Mostly, I'm very pleased. They fit comfortably, rainwater doesn't get in unless you step in a huge puddle, and I no longer worry about getting rejected at amusement park rides. My feet might be getting a little sorer than they did with my old Tevas, but I might be imagining it, or it might very well go away once my foot is used to the shape. Or it might be because I've been keeping my feet tense in wet conditions because I'm afraid of slipping, (I live in a hilly city), but really, they seem to have good traction on everything except wet metal gratings. (But nothing has good traction on those.)
They don't seem to rub or chafe at all, even if you walk for miles.
I wear them with socks. In summer, I can see how they might get a bit too warm, but it probably won't be a problem with the right socks.
I don't know much at all about arch support, it all seems the same to me.

Good sandal for a guy with bad feet -
Got these for my husband who really has a hard time finding a comfortable shoe. Not the best for walking as he needs an extreme orthotic, but great and cool for running around, car trips, errands etc. Actually received a compliment from another guy.

I tried the Venice and the Venice H2, each in black. I expected to like the all black (except for the sole) Venice better than the Venice H2 with its entire grey footbed. All black fits better with my usual style, but when worn, I preferred the H2. The original Venice (at least in all black) looks a bit, uh, "Euro" or like you're a guy wearing Mary Janes, whereas the grey footbed of the H2 conveys more of a "male sport sandal" impression. Note that the photography on the web site makes it look like the toe bumper on the H2 is lighter in color than the original Venice, but in actuality it's the same – it's black, not dark grey. I found that the H2 was a bit snugger than the original Venice. For me this meant that the heel strap was less likely to travel when walking, but it could also mean more rubbing of the rest of the shoe's material against the foot. The fairly convenient lacing system of these shoes means that it's pretty easy to get them appropriately tight, even if you buy a half size too large. You could say, then, that the original Venice (which I might characterize as "a quarter size larger than marked") gives a bit more flexibility in its fit. It's nice with the H2 to be able to just slip it on and then not have to pay much attention to tightening the laces though. The only other issue that can mar the comfort is that there are little spots of hard glue along the bottom of the straps in some places. These can probably be broken down though.

Great Sandals -
These shoes/sandals are great. They fit me perfectly and were super comfortable right out of the box. The neoprene padding on the inside of the leather makes them have 0 break-in time. I didn't get any blisters from these sandals as I usually do with other brands. The workmanship is great. You can tell that quality is really important to Keen. These sandals are going to last awhile. Also, Zappos was great. They next day-ed my shoes to me for free. That was cool.

This is a great shoe. I have another pair of Keens that I got for Christmas and I live in them. I won't buy anything else now.
Zappos is the best. I had to return my first pair because they were a half size too small. I was bummed. BUT, to my surprise I had the replacement two days after calling. They would have been there the next day, but I didn't call until after 1pm. Simply AMAZING! I had the replacement before they had received my return back. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE!!

First of all, I ordered these shoes at 10:00 one night and had them the afternoon of the next day. Unbelievable good service. I have lower back and knee issues, arthritis, scoliosis, and these shoes are so comfortable for the very first time you put them on. My chiropractor said they are good for my knees. They are a real break in the hot Texas summers where I have had to wear tennis shoes for a couple years. They are a little funky looking, but cute. I would buy one in several colors if I could.

Just like many reviewers have noted, these feel ½ a size smaller than usual. However, we still ordered a 9.5 for my husband and then had to send them back for a size 10. We ordered the first pair on New Year's Day, and they were here the next day! This overnight shipping thing is absolutely wonderful. When the 9.5 was a little too snug, we had a size 10 here the next day again. The shoes were very comfortable (we took them on a Mexican vacation) and waterproof.

Zappos and Keen rock -
I shopped locally for the Venice, but color and size were not so easy to find. I finally decided to go for it and ordered online around 4pm on Thursday expecting to receive my order on Monday. To my surprise I checked my email the following morning to see that the order was to arrive that day! Wow! The Keens look (for funky sandals) and feel great. The size does run a bit small (tried on a pair in a store before ordering), so get a half size larger. Can't wait to run around outdoors with them, but so far they seem very comfortable. So kudos to Zappos for the super quick service and Keen for a great feeling product.

MY HUSBAND'S new FAVORITES...
You can tell when a man wears his shoes every day over his old favorites that he favors the new pair. When I first purchased the Keen in olive, I was a bit skeptical since my husband is very particular about his shoes and sandals.
He tried these on and asked if there are other colors. Needless to say, I ordered him the black ones also. Now, these are all he wears. His favorites used to be Clarks, but since walking on the Keens, the Clarks are his secondary choice.
He says these are so comfortable, and good enough to wear everywhere, even if the weather turns cold.
I'll be looking out for other colors for him.
He varies between a 10 and 10.5 and he's a Narrow. He finds that the 10.5 fits perfectly and has room for that all day comfortableness.
Great buy and great quality.

 |  | I must say, I'm always impressed with the service I receive from your company. Regarding my recent order...it's a funny story. I was contemplating driving to the mall to look for shoes similar to what I ordered. Luckily, I didn't. We had flash floods, and roads were closed (specifically the one leading to the mall). I opted to shop online. Now, I always choose Zappos as my first search engine for shoes because I always have success, and most often get them within 24-48 hours. It's impressive, really. However, today, I found the shoes at a different place for cheaper. Not knowing the time line of when I would receive the shoes, I chose Zappos instead because you are a trustworthy, reliable company. I guess you could say I'm a loyal customer. So, in a world where customer service has really fallen (in my opinion), thank you for being not only speedy with your shipping, but hassle free with returns, and just awesome.
