Time for a change -
I bought my Chelsea's over a year ago, and I love them, but it's time for me to update to something else. They're cute, and mostly comfortable, but over time here are the down-sides for me. 1- The rubber gores across the back go just below my ankle bone, and sometimes they rub a blister, even after walking only a 1/2 mile. 2- I never wear socks with these shoes, and the removable insole gets truly smelly after 1 day's wear, so I have to wash it every day (I'm pretty sure they used to market the insole as antimicrobial (i.e. won't make your feet stink), but I don't see that anymore). 3- Don't count on this to be a prime walking shoe for a long period of time (i.e. months on end) - the soles on my pair are starting to wear through right under the ball of my foot, and I'll have a hole worn through soon, thus my quest for a new pair of Keens, which will not be these. 4- I got the black pair, and they have faded out into more of a drab, shabby gray, worsened by getting soaked a few times. Despite all of this, I would still recommend this shoe if you plan on not wearing them constantly, day after day, month after month, like I did. I think I just need something a little more rugged. It really is cute, cute, CUTE!

Great Comfy Shoe -
After buying a super ugly pair of walking shoes and returning 4 hours later at a local dept store, I ordered these from Zappos in 9.5 (I normally wear 9) after reading reviews...they fit great. I have a wide-ish foot and they gave me the room I needed. Wore them every day on a 10 day trip to Europe - my feet were never sore or tired. They are cute too! Looking forward to being able to wear sock free for summer walking.

My daughter wears and ankle-foot orthotic that is really HARD to find shoes to fit. This style is perfect -- and it looks good enough to wear with just about anything!
It also holds up well. In the past, she has quickly "popped through" stitching on athletic shoes -- didn't matter how good the quality, they were a mess within a month or so. The Keen Chelsea hasn't popped a stitch yet!

Elastic Problem -
Cute shoe, but couldn't even get it on my mom's foot due to the elastic under the hook and loop strap on the top of the foot. It's only about an inch and a 1/2 and is TIGHT. Bought the shoe thinking I could just step my mom's foot into it and strap it over. NOT! Shoe might have fit, but never got to that point. The powder color is awesome. Have to have a narrow foot I think for this to work at all. Thanks for the happy returns though!

Fabulous -
I wore these shoes for 2 weeks while touring in China. My feet never hurt; while everyone else’s in the group feet did hurt. I was telling everyone about these shoes and they were all writing down the brand. I can't say enough about these shoes, they are fabulous!!

I returned them - not a good fit for me -
These just didn't fit me at all. Not long enough but too big around. Width-wise, I would have had to wear thick socks, which is not what I wanted for these shoes.

I thought these sporty Maryjane’s looked great online. But when I got them I didn’t like how they looked on my feet. They were a little wider than expected. I ended up returning them and getting another style of Keen.

I am such a Keen fan. I bought this shoe as it was half the price of the Mephisto Allrounder, yet it is a similiar look. It definately runs small, so order at least a half size larger than your regular size.
Extremely comfortable everywhere, except the heel flap rubs against my heel. I remedied this by twisting the back rubber strap and pushing it down! but I think I will end up cutting it off as it pushes that back flap against the heel. Other than that, it's extremly comfortable and very cute.

Awesome shoe!
One of THE most comfortable pair of Keens I have, right out of the box! I wear either an 8-1/2 or a 9 and I always get my Keens in a 9 and they fit perfect. VERY comfortable. And Zappos is beyond fabulous as always. I won't get my shoes anywhere else!

I have a big problem buying shoes, because I need the width, and the shoes in stores do not carry the width I need, then I ran across your product and here is what I found, and I just love these shoes. Toe trouble...
Super cute and flexible...but my left toe got crushed! I thought of ordering a bigger size but they would probably look too big, the rest of the foot was OK, and my right foot was just fine. Oh, that darn left toe...

Great All Around shoe -
I love Keen shoes and the Chelsea and Seattle are my favorite due to the Mary Jane style for easy on-off.
The Seattle is more rugged and better for walking and hikes, but the Chelsea is better for city use, as it has more cushioning and a less hard rubber outsole. Also the instep is higher, so it doesn't cut on your feet. Can't complain about anything Keen makes.

I loved these shoes, comfortable, cute, but I wore them without socks and they definitely got stinky. And I swear I don't have particularly stinky feet! Wear those little low socks with them.

Buy up .5 size and they're perfect. Insole comes out and I can put in orthotics for a custom fit. Love the color. Can't say enough good things about Keens.

Always buy up 1/2 size. Insole comes out and you can put in your own. Yes ladies it has come to that for my feet, need my own inserts now. Love the shoe.

Quirky but comfy -
This shoe has an elastic piece under the adjustable strap that made the shoe unwearable for me. However, I spent $12 to have this lengthened and now the shoe fits well. The space in the toe box is fabulous especially since I have painful feet. The sole could stand a little bit more cushioning, but I've added my orthotics and this has helped. Most shoes that fit my wide foot are too wide in the heel (re: the Ecco Extreme Mary Janes), but these work well. I don't think these would work well for a narrow foot but for me they're great!! Love the lavender!

Comfortable, but if your feet swell up the strap on top of the foot isn't removable or adjustable, so the shoe wasn't for me, my daughter wears the same size, and she loves it, oh well...

I took this shoe and the Privo by Clarks to Europe. They covered everything to wear and were excellent for swelling feet. Excellent support and every comfortable.

Love these shoes; they are very comfortable, great walking shoes, fun looking. Go great with shorts and jeans and athletic pants, capris, etc. Buy them, you won't be disappointed. As usual Zappos service is THE BEST bar none. I usually wear an 8, bought this one in a 9.

I ordered these in garnet and lavender. Both are very comfortable with decent arch support. My only quibble is that the garnet is more of a rusty brick than a true red. Thank you Zappos!

LOVE ME SOME KEEN'S!
Love these cute little runners - the heel rubbed a bit when I first got them, but it was fine after a few hours. Most of my Keen's I get 1/2 size larger - this one I got my regular size and it fits fine w/o socks. Beware - they make your feet a little stinky - I air them out overnight (outside) and it seems to help.

These shoes would be a favorite of mine, except that the heel has rubbed the skin raw and (like all Keen's) the make my feet smell. Comfortable though.

Great comfort, a fun shoe to wear. The heel tab rubs and is a little uncomfortable at first but softens up quickly.

 |  | Happy small feet!!! I have been frustrated looking for size 5 shoes. The main retail areas have decided that small feet no longer exist. They want us to wear kid's shoes, which are not made for adults. I was very excited to find Zappos even though I would prefer to try shoes on before buying. The free shipping both ways made it easy for me to try this way. The shoes are fine so I didn't have to return them. My freight was upgraded for me and I got them within two days. I was very pleased. I will be shopping here for my shoes in the future. I have wasted so much time going from store to store in the malls only to find their sizing starts at a 6. No more.
