Nimbus 9 & 10 - Order 1/2 size larger or stay with usual size?
I ordered the Nimbus 9 & 10 for comparison in 1/2 size larger than my normal size 13. This based on a few reviews for both stating they run 1/2 size larger than previous versions. Since this is the 1st shoe I've ever seen in 13.5, I had to try it. Well, I should have known; try my usual size 1st. Both shoes seem a little long. I tried both shoes at retailer and found that the 13 in the Nimbus 9 was my usual 13 fit. As for the Nimbus 10...well, it is the same overall length as other recent versions but the toe box is a bit more tapered, which for some people may be a concern. For me it kind of feels like my big toe is pushed in a bit towards the next toe but there is still the usual amount of space ahead of the toes and it seems to be a more secure/snug fit for my narrow feet compared with the 13.5. I would hope the big toe area would stretch very slightly to give a more comfortable feel. How do versions 9 & 10 compare? Well right off I noticed the increased cushioning and ever so slight increased arch support in the Nimbus 10. (I could use a tad more.) The downside for me is I'm really NOT fond of the chrome silver look in any of the version 9 or 10's. And what's up with the Spiderman look?? Where are the grown-up shoes? On the other hand there is ONE sharp, more mature looking color combo in the version 9; the black/onyx/zinc combination is really sharp I think. Asics needs to bring that back in the next version. Anyway, hope this review helps. Your results may vary based on your shoe size and feet. Now I have to decide on the shoe that looks better or the shoe that is more comfortable.

At last NO PAIN!!!!!
For 25 years I have been wearing Birkenstocks. It's not the Birk's fault, but the tendons/nerves on the top of my left foot have been "acting up" for hurting for years. I walked as little as possible. A friend recommended Keen Venice H2s, I tried on hers, and took the plunge to order my own. Two weeks now--I walk anywhere cheerfully, no more pain, a real spring in my step, go miles on the treadmill. At 67 years old I have finally found my soulshoe.

I was a little apprehensive to order because I have heel pain and the custom orthotics just haven't been the answer. Well, these are actually the second pair of the identical VeniceH2 (only different color) that I have gotten this summer. Please add some new colors. They are terrific!!! I highly recommend. No more heel pain when these are on my feet!!! I LOVE them and know anyone who orders them will not be disappointed. Truly a great fit and comfort. Keen Is KEEN!!!

I'm nearing retirement age, but must keep working to support my Keens habit. I have problem feet and these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. The Venice H2 is a nice hybrid between the Newport and a dressier sandal. The sole is a little stiffer and not quite as cushioned as other styles of Keens, but you can still wear them all day.

Good shoe for water sports - Despite the obvious Keen tan line you will get, these shoes stand out from the rest. I do a lot of water sports and the shoes never get sticky to my foot, or smell from the river water after. I can even walk in these all day at theme parks, and don't have a problem with them flying off on the coasters!

GREAT SHOE? GREAT SERVICE -
The Keen is great, one of my clients suggested this shoe to me. This shoe is very comfortable, it fits great and has a pull cord if you need to adjust it. The arch was perfect for me. I don't need anything really high. It looks kind of like a cross training sandal. A sandal/hiking shoe. I love it! The shipping was amazing! When I ordered it, I was thinking it would be here in 3-5 days. It was here the next day! I love Zappos.com!

I ordered these shoes to wear on a mountain/river vacation and for the most part was not disappointed. It did, however, take me two tries to get a pair that fit, and never did get the color I wanted before my trip...guess that indicates that these shoes are very popular in petrol.

I love these shoes! I went camping in Zion National Park and we were in and out of the water all day long. I knew I needed something I could wear in the water and on land that won't give me blisters, or make my feet heavy. These were perfect! I was there for a week, and while everyone else was changing in and out of shoes, socks and sandals; I never had to change!

I read reviews that said one should buy a larger size but I ordered my regular size and they fit right out of the box and they arrived the day after I ordered them! I have 3 pairs of Keen's already and still wear my first pair from 6 years ago that I wear almost daily every summer. I love the bumper rubber toe and plan to buy a new pair every year. You just can't find a better casual shoe/sandal.

I was looking for a gray and pink summer shoe to go with my team colors. This one was not only the perfect colors (not quite what the picture shows - the pink is more pink, the gray is less purple) but very comfortable. These are my 2nd pair of Keen's and won't be my last.

Venice H2 sandals -
These are the most comfortable hiking type sandals I've owned. I usually wear a wide size, but these fit perfectly. They are pretty adjustable. The cushion is the best, almost like walking on air. They are very light weight. I give them 5 stars!

I love this shoe. Comfortable and non-skid on trails, up hill and down, and through water! Cool and protects toes from rocks and spills. They are irresistible!

I just went on a 3 mile hike at the Grand Canyon in my new H2s. They were perfectly comfortable. Great on the bottom for climbing on rocks. They are also great at the lake. I just washed them off and they look new again. I love them.

Love my Keens - I ordered these 1/2 size larger than normal (based on previous reviews) and they fit just right. Great for walking the dogs, going to the lake and river, light hiking. I normally wear Danskos at work and many other shoes are not comfortable, but these were. Will look at other Keens for casual wear this fall.

Love them. This is my 2nd pair. Keen H2 sandals are perfect for summer. They are supportive and easy care. If between sizes, please order up 1/2 size. The quality is great.

I love these shoes! They are really comfortable. And their open style keeps your feet cool too. They look a bit funky, so if you can get past that, you won't be sorry.

Not built for long hikes -
Bought these for hiking the Camino in Spain. Got them two weeks early so I could break them in. Lots of blisters--and they never stopped coming. I think if I hadn't hiked 15 to 20 miles a day in them after those two weeks, I would have eventually been ok, but as I did, my feet look like hell. I'm not complaining--I think I asked more of them than I should have. I did buy a half size bigger than I usually wear, as I heard they ran small, and they fit well.

I was very impressed with the service I received from Zappos. I wasn't sure of my size or the color I wanted. I ordered one pair in the green when I received it was too green for me. I called and was able to order 2 sizes in black. They credited my return before I even sent the green ones back.
Zappos will be my first choice in ordering shoes on line.

My New Favorite Shoes!
These shoes were immediately comfortable out of the box. They fit my feet perfectly and I usually have trouble with shoes being a half size smaller. These felt like they were custom made for my feet. I am not a fan of running shoes or walking shoes and I have used these for my evening walks around the neighborhood with full support. They don't slip around when my feet perspire and they stay comfortable for the duration of my hikes. I also own a pair of the Newport Sandals and I actually prefer these for walking because they breathe better.

Highly recommended for a walking shoe -
This is my second pair of Keen Venice shoes. I have one black and one blue pair. I ordered the blue pair one week before going to Washington, DC on a walking vacation. My family and I literally walked for hours and I had no blisters or abrasions at the end of the day. They are extremely comfortable and great for walking long or short distances. I highly recommend them!

Great walking sandal -
I've had my Venice H2's for a month now and just love them. I walked three miles in them the first day without any rubbing. They are great for long city walks...extremely comfortable and much nicer looking and cooler than sneakers and socks. Washable too. They ran true to size for me.

No one believes me when I say it is the best shoe in my closet. Not too fashionable, but very, very comfortable for walking, hiking, creek playing, and chasing after grandkids. I wear mine for some part of every day.

Several of my friends have these shoes and recommended them. I ordered a pair in my normal size, but my toes felt "cramped". I returned them and ordered a half size larger and they are perfect! They are SO comfortable and the workmanship is excellent.

Great shoes!
This is my second pair of Keen shoes and I love them. Wanted ventilated shoes for walking, hiking, etc... and these are perfect. Also, feel fine running city errands in them. I live in the Texas hill country and these are perfect for uneven terrain... feel very supported. I normally wear 7 1/2 in other shoes, but both my Keens are 8s. That gives just enough space that my toes don't hit the front. Perfect.

I bought and immediately wore this pair of shoes for 2 weeks offshore working on a research cruise. They were wet pretty much constantly for 12 days. They held up wonderfully, supported my feet fantastically and didn't take any time to break it. A great pair of shoes!
