Best boots ever!
These are the best boots I ever bought! They are extremely comfortable, but also very stylish and fun. Plus waterproof, and made by a Canadian company with reportedly good working conditions. I have had mine almost 2 years now. Finally they have started getting a little worn, and I put in an insert because the inside was worn down. But I still feel I've got more than my money's worth, and will probably buy another pair when these finally wear out. They have been a lifesaver!

Although they might be a bit pricey, they are absolutely one of the best pairs I have ever owned. Comfortable, stylish, I have large calves and seldom find a tall boot with zipper that fits properly, these do!!! They are also easy to keep clean and have held up great throughout the winter. Highly recommend it. I would probably buy this brand from now on.

Great All Weather Boots -
I've worn these to work in inclement weather and significant snow storms. They are stylish for all weather boots and can pass as professional attire (work appropriate) on a snowy day. The suede finish still looks nice. The height is really mid-calf, so they may not be as high as it appears from picture.

My favorite!!
This is the most comfortable yet attractive and versatile pair of boots ever! Being a dancer with super-wide feet and 14.5 inch calves, it is extremely difficult for me to find cute shoes that fit me. I can walk around the streets of NYC all day and even my flat feet never get tired. I'm so happy I came across these boots; I just bought my second pair!

At Last!
I love boots but buying boots is an ordeal. I have wide, high arched feet and wide calves. I took the boots out of the box and loved the look immediately. I was afraid to get my hopes up because usually boots don't fit in some way and I have to return them. What a joy to have them slip on, zip up and I was away. No break in time at all. These were pricey boots but I have no choice if I want an attractive boot that fits me. The only problem is lack of arch support. I put in a store bought insert with arch support and they are now perfect. I have worn them with pants and with skirts and couldn't be happier. Thank you La Canadienne and thank you Zappos.

VERY comfy-- hooray for WW boots!
I am really happy with my purchase of these boots. I ordered the WW (EE) width and they are so cozy; I normally do a wide width when available and can sometimes handle a regular width but these give me a far superior fit. I also tend to have trouble fitting into the calves of boots, but these are short enough, wide enough, and stretchy enough to work for me. These are not the most fashion-y boots out there but they have been really practical for me and I think they are attractive and cute. I wear them almost exclusively with skirts. The one downside is that they are quite warm, which here in TX isn't always that great a feature.

Love it!
These boots are really comfy and looks great. I usually only wear shoes that are super comfortable and consequently, have had lots of skirts in my closet that have been collecting dust. These boots are perfect and now I can wear a lot of my winter skirts. Arch support could be better but still they are awesome.

All Around Awesome Shoe -
The Juliana suede boot is everything I was looking for in a shoe for this winter. It's a great looking shoe that can be worn to work under a pant or skirt suit, and it can also look hot with skirt for going out on the town on the weekends. It is EXTREMELY comfortable and the heel is just high enough to look sexy, but low enough to be gentle on the knees and back. The shoe feels soft and keeps my feet warm. The quality of this boot overall makes it worth every single penny I invested in it. I had another pair of expensive La Canadienne boots that I wore all winter long for 2 consecutive seasons and felt those were also worth the investment, which is why I didn't just buy one pair of Juliana boots, I bought 2 pairs - black and brown

Very Nice Winter Boot -
I'm very pleased with this boot. Warm, dry and extremely comfortable. Also quite attractive although not "high" fashion. Plan on having these for a long time.

Great boot with toe room -
Great boot. Love the look as it's great for skirts or pants. Love that there is toe room. Wish it could accommodate thick socks and had a bit more arch support. I'm an 11 with high arches. After trying on several pairs, this was the most comfortable.

First-time La Canadienne Buyer -
I wasn't planning to buy another knee-high brown boot, but based on other Zappos customer reviews, I did. And am I glad! I have trouble finding comfortable shoes/boots, but these didn't even require breaking in. They are true to size and width. Since I have high arches, I wear an arch support in them, and they are fine. And last but not least, they are stylish and look great!

Great Boots -
I love these boots. Bought them three years ago and they are soo comfortable and very good looking w/jeans or with dressy long skirts. The nubuck finish is very nice and haven't had any problems cleaning these. I will buy another pair soon.

Love these boots, but a bit warm for my office -
These boots are really nice looking, but for wearing in my office - a bit too warm.
I might prefer a heel just a bit lower. I had knee surgery last July (hurt my knee right after I bought these) but generally they are very comfortable and classy. I wear them with slacks and jeans. I wear a 7N and they fit beautifully.

Good Boot Some Caveats -
The footbed comfort, the heel height, and the warmth of this boot is excellent. Since it's a fairly high-end boot, you should know the drawbacks. If you are on the slender side, even if you are athletic and have bulbous "Germanic" calves, you will swim in the calf part of the boot, wondering what the extra expansion ribs are for. The calf section is built for the large woman, or someone who would stuff jeans into a boot. Despite or because of the super-roominess of the calf, the zippers are very chafing, and the boot requires that you wear socks or tights long enough to provide a barrier between your skin and the boots. The boots are taller than they look in the photos--over the calf, nearly to the knees.

LOVE these boots!!
I have found these boots to be great! They fit well, are soft inside, with no break-in time required. I wore them to and from work, and was on my feet ALL day, without any discomfort. The suede looks great with a solid brown longer skirt, and my wardrobe has expanded easily. The boots have a rubber sole, so grip the ground well, and feel quite secure. The heel is wood or faux wood, which makes them look more dressy. A versatile boot that transitions well from outside to inside. They are also good going into spring, as the suede is soft and they are not overly heavy. Five stars! And of course Zappos is the bomb!

This is a great boot for everyday wear. If the weather gets nasty - no problem, they’re waterproof! They also look great with skirts which I hadn't expected. They look excellent with jeans and I end up putting them on almost everyday. Great boot!

Stylish AND weatherproof!
I LOVE these boots. I wore them in raining-cats-and-dogs weather for 2 days in Milan where the streets are brick and cobblestone, and my tootsies were warm and dry. And they are stylish too. It's hard to find boots that fit over my large calves, but these are high enough to wear with a skirt, and low enough to not have to zip up over my calves. They also fit under my jeans. A definite winner, and even though they are on the expensive side, they are stylish enough and weatherproof enough to be worn often enough to make it worth it.

Best all-around boot I've found -
I have a really hard time finding boots that fit between my wide spatula-shaped feet my largish athletic calves. Coupling that with a desire for style and function and I gave up on ever wearing boots----until I discovered these. They look good with skirts, slacks or jeans, they're waterproof and have surprisingly good grip on the soles AND they are really, truly comfortable right out of the box. They are also warm without being overly warm so they will work for fall and early spring as well as winter. I was reluctant to spend so much money on a pair of boots but these are definitely worth the price, for all the above reasons plus the clear quality of the materials and workmanship means they will last many years.

IT'S EVEN WIDE ENOUGH FOR ME!!!
This boot is gorgeous AND it comes in an EE which actually fits my foot! My toes are all about the same length, so finding shoes let alone a boot that has a roomy enough toe box without being too long is often a challenge. I may have to get them in black too!

Keeping Them!
Subtly cute, go-go style boot--may not get many unsolicited compliments. Great padding for comfort. Little tight at first but once broken in they fit perfect. Will look good with skirt past knee or to ankles. Mostly casual, slightly dressy, depends on what you wear with them. I wore with cotton sock and slacks. Could feel slight cold with Chicago wind chill but not unbearable. Have yet to try in wet, slushy, wintry weather. Reviews factored greatly in my decision as they are usually on point. I am overall glad I purchased. This site and its customers are awesome! Thank you Zappos and fellow Zappoheads!

I have been searching for the "perfect" boot for several years, and this is it! Based on other reviewers, I tried this boot and I am thrilled. The boot height is great, deciding a bit of a heel is better than a flat. I tried the style that is similar and shorter but the top of the boot hit the front of the ankle. The fit of the boot is true to size allowing for both thin and thick socks. I purchased both the brown and black. Zappos service is beyond compare, the best web experience there is. Thank you Zappos and thank you for the review process - it certainly helped me find a boot I would not have tried without the reviews.
