I LOVE THESE SHOES!
I have problem feet and need wide, comfortable walking shoes. After reading all the reviews on this shoe, I thought I would give them a try. They are absolutely wonderful. My feet don't hurt when I’m done with my walk and no blisters. Hurrah!!!

My son has been buying shoes from Zappos for a while, and he just kept bragging how he had finally found shoes that fit! I wear an orthotic and was not really happy with what I found in the stores. He suggested I try a wider size than I'm use to getting in stores and see if that didn't feel better. I went for a 2E width and for the first time, my feet didn't ache after being on them all day!!! I will order more shoes from Zappos, knowing that I can find choices quickly and sizes that are not readily available. The return process is painless too.

Good arch support and motion control. Right amount of cushioning, without feeling too soft. Wide toe box allows space in the forefoot, without feeling too loose. Accommodates my prescription orthotics. I like the look of the shoe also. In the past, other models of Brooks Addiction road running shoes have been excellent for my overpronation and the Addiction 7 delivers once again. A good solid shoe I can always count on.

Best yet!
This is my third pair of Brooks Walk Addiction. I teach elementary PE in 4 different buildings, so I put on a lot of miles in a day. This is the best looking pair they have made and the fit is great, even though I have a wide fit. The D width fits great. I have less fatigue on my legs with this shoe due to the support.

If you are an overpronator this is an excellent shoe. There is great arch support. I always buy a half size bigger than my normal day shoe due to swelling of feet while running. I definitely recommend this shoe to anyone that runs long distance or marathons.

My favorite shoe -
The Brooks Addiction is the only shoe I can wear during marathon training periods. I have a problematic IT band and this shoe is the only thing that allows me to keep running the high mileage that I do in training for marathons. I don't know what I would do without it!

Fantastic shoe -
This shoe is well designed! It has a stiff sole in the middle to ease any tendon problems that a runner may have. It is also a great shoe for just knocking around in.

WONDERFUL shoes -
This is my 3rd pair, my first two being Addiction 6, and I love them. I have wide feet and a high instep and these are the most comfortable I've found. Beware, though, I usually take an 8W in a shoe and after trying all the size combinations, the 9.5B is the one that fits the best, so they do run small.

My Dr. recommended Brooks Addiction as part of my treatment plan for Plantar Fasciitis. I looked them up, ordered, and was wearing them, in my hard to find wide width, within 24 hrs. The price was fair, free shipping, and excellent quality.

Love my shoes!
I searched for the shoe that was the predecessor of this shoe. I had worn it at a friend’s and loved it. Since it was no where to be found, I researched the Brooks Addiction and went for it. They are wonderful. My knees don't hurt when I wear them. Thank you so much Zappos! I will buy my next shoes at Zappos, no doubt! Patti P

Addicted To Brooks Addiction -
I have been wearing the Addiction "series" for years. I have big, wide feet and they are one of the few sneakers that fit and fit well. Extremely comfortable, excellent support, and they hold up well. One slight problem I had with the Addiction 6 was a breakthrough at the toe - first time it's happened. We'll see if the same problem occurs with the 7. Great walking shoe.

Great shoe!
This is a great shoe! It's very comfortable and allows my orthotic. Shoe was recommended by my chiropractor. I wish they would keep the colors to a minimum and have plain white.

This shoe offers great support and comfort for my feet. I stand all day and have high arches, so a running shoe is good for the first couple of hours, but after 10 hours, they feel too soft. Brooks has a good, solid, comfortable sole.

My first Brooks shoe is a hit with me. I have very flat, painful feet. These shoes seem to give me the support I need to keep my feet going all day with only minimum pain. My grandmother used to say, "When your feet hurt everything hurts," she was so right. I am very happy with these shoes and rate them five stars. The only thing that would make them better is if they were not so wide looking, but perhaps that isn't possible as they might need to maintain this shape to give the support they provide. They are not the worst looking. Give them a try if your feet require TLC...that may just be what your looking for.

Not comfy enough to overcome the looks - These shoes fit my flat, wide feet. The arch support felt good too, but compared to the Brooks Ariel I ordered at the same time, the Addiction is hideous. The soles are very wide, to the point that I thought I might trip on them while walking. I'm used to a wide outsole - I live in Birkenstocks all summer - but these seemed excessively so. I'm not very vain when it comes to shoes – I have plantar fasciitis, so I'm used to wearing what's comfortable. These were beyond even my limit of ugly and clunky. I kept the Ariels. They won't win any beauty contests either, but they are a heck of a lot better looking than the Addiction.

Great shoe - It adds a little bit of height to me with its platform-like sole. It is light weight, breathable, not cramped in the toes, and it can take an orthotic insert. The color is neutral enough. What more can you ask for from a shoe! I hope this style is not discontinued for a long time. I am on my second pair of them.

Great Trip to Grand Canyon!
This is the 5th or 6th pair of shoes I have ordered and worn out completely from Zappos. This is my first pair of Brooks Addiction 7. Received them on Tuesday and was hiking around Grand Canyon on Sunday. Never had to "break in", just put on and wore. This will not, not, not be my last pair of Brooks. I have been very pleased with all purchases and will continue to purchase all my shoes only through Zappos.

Polio review.
I have had problems with my feet since polio as a child. The walking bed in this shoe is outstanding for someone with my problems but since my feet swell it lacks in upper space, as a result the lace is so wide it looks like I have a shoe that does not fit at all leaving me with very little lace to tie this shoe. But the shoe is very easy on the feet and legs to where.

No addiction here -
After reading pages of glowing reviews, I thought this shoe would be "the one" that would make walking and standing comfortable again. Even though I bought a narrow width, the toe box is so high that my forefoot moves around in the shoe. Tightening the laces makes the tops of my feet hurt. The arches are inadequate for my flat, slim feet. The shoes make my feet unbearably hot, probably because so much synthetic material is used for lining and insole. The shoe soles are so enormous that they are real trippers. For years, I wore nothing but all natural Mephisto Run-Off, Rush and Holiday, but my feet changed and the toes of those wonderful walking shoes were no longer comfortable. The Brooks shoe does not become more comfortable with wear--in fact, quite the opposite. I made the mistake of keeping and wearing the shoes. I'm sorry I didn't return them.

This shoe runs a half size small. I found this out from a previous purchase a few years ago. This year I called Road Runners Sports to find out what other owners of this shoe were reporting about its fit before I purchased it from Zappos. Zappos staff stated that is was running true to size. Glad I checked another source. Zappos staff was polite and professional and I liked the free shipping and free return shipping offer which sealed the deal for me.

Brook's Addiction 7 -
I was amazed at how comfortable this shoe was as soon as I put it on! It is very good for people with flat feet, which tend to pronate. The motion control, arch support, and metal tarsal cushioning is excellent. I bought several pairs because they are so comfortable.

Great Shoe!
This is the best athletic shoe I have ever owned. Great support and stability. They were recommended to me by a foot specialist. I have plantar fasciitis and tendonitis and I am able to get my daily exercise wearing these. They help manage my pain. They also accommodate an orthotic. I also have the Brooks Ariel which also provides outstanding support and stability. I would say the Ariel is one step up from the Addiction. Both great shoes.
