I love this shoe.
I have the Cachet in bone. They are incredibly comfortable and very pretty. I really wear a 6 1/2 wide, but the 7M fits just fine. They are absolutely worth the sale price. I'm glad I finally splurged on a pair of Taryn Rose heels because the quality and comfort are definitely worth it, at least in this style. (I've had to return other shoes.)

Heel feels too high.
I ordered these shoes because they looked so cute. I love the 1940's style of shoes, and these just looked adorable. When I tried them on, however, I realized that the heel was just too high to be comfortable. I have a "problem foot," in that I have wide toes, a high instep, and narrow heels, and this shoe just didn't work at all. I didn't feel much arch support, and the high heel put too much pressure on the ball of my foot, which was already feeling squished due to the too-narrow toe box. If you don't have problem feet, you may find this shoe to work better for you than it did for me. (They are really cute shoes!) I have owned a few pairs of Taryn Rose shoes, and I've found that her styles don't work all that well for wide feet.

My comments on this shoe are as follows:
1) It seemed the style and cut of the shoe looked like it was for older women-- it didn't have the slope that I like which enhances your ankle.
2) While the shoe was well padded, it didn't have any " shoe mechanics" meaning it wasn't built right for the heel-- very little arch support and stability, at least for my foot.
This is the second pair of Taryn Rose shoes that I am returning. I think that I might like the style of Fortune but that's what it costs to buy it. I'll wait for tryna in chocolate to come in my size on sale and if I don't like that one, then maybe Taryn rose wasn't made for my feet.

My feet always hurt to some extent so I never expect a pain free shoe. However, I was wearing these shoes and actually forgot that they were on my feet. This shoe feels good, is very stable and is beautifully made. I ordered a half size up from my usual and the fit is perfect.

I normally wear an 8 1/2. In this style, I had to order the 9 to feel comfortable - but oh are they the most comfortable high heels I have ever worn! And they make the legs look magnificent.
Other brands recommended by reviewer: Any other Taryn Rose shoe - I now have 4 pairs!

Investment shoe -
I first saw this shoe last spring in my local department store, but I thought it was too high and too expensive. But in September I found myself still thinking of it, so I caved in and bought them from Zappos (great service, as always). I justified the purchase to myself by thinking this is an absolutely classic shoe, oh soo beautifully made, and I will wear it for years. It will never go out of style, and will look good with everything. This is my special occasion shoe. It instantly makes me feel well dressed and sexy. As for comfort - whether Taryn Rose is or is not a foot surgeon, this high heel is not good for you, plain and simple. But the heel is very well balanced, the toe box is roomy, and I was surprised how little pain it inflicted. My podiatrist approved them for occasional wear (with stress on "occasional"). Not sure if you can develop brand loyalty after just one purchase, but I check the Taryn Rose collection regularly, and think I would like another pair of her great shoes. I wish she made more shoes with a slightly lower heel and that they go on sale more often...

This is a gorgeous shoe. Even though it is high, it is very comfortable and you can stand and dance in it easily. I have it in bone and black. Got the black first and then had to have the bone. They are classics and will never go out of style. Make the legs look fabulous!!!

 |  | I am a F.T. bar tender and am on my feet all night standing, walking and sometimes running! I work hard! I have had the same work shoes that I LOVE for about 10 years! I found your site through my daughter and found a pair of what I thought would be good work shoes. I saved my tips and months later made the order. I was ambivalent about spending so much money on SHOES but decided to just do it! They arrived yesterday morning! I wore them last night for the first time forgetting to bring a back up pair in case they hurt (new shoes and all). Well, I'm just sooooo happy to say that I LOVE them! My feet were just fine – ALL NIGHT! They were like wearing slippers w/ arch support. This morning I put my poor old tired out work shoes in the trash with no regrets! Your staff was SO kind and helpful over the phone and the promptness of delivery was amazing! Thank you so much!
