Very Comfy -
I wasn't sure if I would keep these shoes because I had heard they are for people with wider feet, but I ended up loving them even though my heel slips out a little when I walk. I don't care. I haven't taken them off since I got them, they are so comfortable. I love the look too even though it could be described as a bit clunky. I agree w/ the other people who said to order a half-size up.

These shoes are remarkable. I can wear them for a 12 hour day on my feet and neither my back nor legs hurt at the end of the day. On top of that, they look great with jeans. They are fully worth the price.

Sidewalks to trails -
Great shoes. I was looking for something to wear for a week in Scotland - cute enough for cities, but rugged and comfortable enough for lots of walking and even some hikes. These are the ones. They're just a bit funny-looking because they're so wide, but I like the old school sneaker styling and they're very comfortable. I wore them in cities and hiked up trails in them and they were great. No discomfort at all.

Really comfortable shoe -
This is truly a great shoe. I am on my feet at least 10 hours a day and this is the most comfortable shoe I have ever found for work. It is not the most attractive shoe I have worn, but the comfort makes up for it. My feet don't hurt at the end of the day anymore. I would recommend this shoe to everyone.

I have high arches and require extra cushioning and support, which unfortunately Keen does not seem to have. While this style was a little more cushioned than some of their others, it still was not enough for me and I have since gone with Teva shoes which have the extra cushioning and support I need.

MY LOVE...The Briggs - I don't think I have ever found a shoe as comfortable as the Briggs...and sturdy! I even wear them when riding my motorcycle. I love the protective toe and they make my feet look really small! I just wish they came in some different colors. Black is my fav but I have it in grey as well.

Cured My Plantar Fasciitis -
I had inserts made by my podiatrist and even they didn't help. Then I tried these shoes and within one week I was pain free! I have difficult feet to fit, wide, chunky big toe and square shaped line with a narrow heel. The 6 eyelets allowed custom fit. I hope Keen never stops making this shoe because I don't know what other shoe I could wear on a daily basis. I have all different colors to wear with different outfits. I wish Keen would make this same shoe as a boot, using the same sole.

Keens are the only shoe I never have to break in. Put them on and go. I have about 10 pairs now, and I love them all. I have a wider foot and these shoes fit me perfectly. Thank you Zappos!!

Pretty good shoe...
I wanted these, in black, for work because I am on my feet much of the day. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box, but after a bit of wearing them around the house, the back did rub my ankle slightly. But before I sent them back I wanted to see if it'd get better and it did. I know experts say shoes should fit right out of the box but these needed a few hours of wear. On my feet these shoes feel nice. I feel somewhat clunky walking across non-carpeted floors (a little loud)--but my feet feel fine at the end of the day. And, to be fair, I usually wear sneakers so this may be of no concern to others. One thing that I didn't see often in other reviews that surprised me is that these shoes make my feet sweat. A lot. Surely I can't be the only one? And it really does take some getting used to how wide they are. I thought others were exaggerating...no. It's wide! But it feels nice so you kind of forget about it. I wear a 10.5 (awesome that they make that size!) and have a slightly wide foot and these fit perfectly in that way. So in short: looks strange, feels good.

These are the best!
I purchased my first pair of Keens for a trip to NY. I walked for 3 days and my feet never bothered me. I am an RN and wear these at work where I am on my feet for 12 hours. They are great, good arch support, plenty of room for your toes!

Awesome shoe!!
This is not only a very comfortable shoe but it looks cool too. I like the all black leather of the Briggs because it looks somewhat dressier than the Keen Presidio. They also add solid black shoes laces which is nice. I must admit I don't like any of the other Keen styles - just too crunchy for me. Order one size up, these tend to run small. Thanks Zappos!! Perfect customer service as always!

This is my second pair. I like the support that it gives me and I've gotten quite a few compliments too. It's great in all sorts of weather. I've had my first pair for over a year and I continue to wear them.

I had bought a Bronx and Astoria before and quite frankly the arch felt more comfortable than they are now. I work in retail and I am on my feet all day, so it really makes a lot of difference walking with a comfortable, higher arch shoe.

Stellar Shoes!
My mother was the first one to recommend Keen shoes and I have not been disappointed. I went with Zappos because they had colors that I couldn't find locally and the shoes feel great! The only thing that is taking a little getting used to is they make your feet look wide across the toe. I know that's part of the style, but I'm still adjusting to it. And the comfort of the shoe has made the width look totally worth it!

I LOVE these shoes! They are so comfortable and fit very good! Water repels right off of them which is great when you work in the medical field giving showers to residents! I wear my orthotic insoles in them and they still fit great! Love, love, love them and love Zappos! Thanks!

I was a little worried about buying Keens because they are not really my style, but I was totally wrong. I bought these shoes over a year and a half ago and they still look great. These shoes are made to last, they are also the most comfy shoes I have ever owned and they are always up for my every adventure. (And the best part they never smell.) They were worth ever penny.

Good travel shoes -
These shoes are great for every day or for lots of walking during travel too. They are casually rugged and have a nice tread on them. I would recommend ordering a half size up from your normal shoe size for these. It seems to be especially good for people with a wide toe area yet with a narrower heel. You can't go wrong with these shoes.

I was pleased that these Keens (Briggs) fit my narrow foot better than I expected- I had tried another Keen style (Portola or Presidio, I forget) and they were styled too short and wide for any size to fit my foot. These are much better, probably because they lace so far down the toe. Unfortunately these Briggs are going to be returned too, because although the arch is good compared to many shoes, it is not enough for me without an orthotic. I was sad to find that my orthotics placed my foot too high in the shoe, so the heel is no longer comfortable. Bummer. Nice shoes though, a bit goofy looking but well designed and well made.

So far this shoe has fit similar to the Birkenstock's I own. Is a great shoe to wear with jeans. Happy that the shoe fit without having to be a wide width.

Overall I am pleased with these shoes. On the down side; the toe box is a little crowded. A big issue I have had is my jeans (Gap) have rubbed blue dye on to them discoloring them! Note the jeans are new but not brand new and have been washed more then once. This was disappointing. So you may want to get a darker shoe if you have dyed pants/jeans. The outer sole is hard and your foot falls are audible.

I love these shoes!
I bought these shoes because I wanted some comfortable shoes for walking that didn't look like a typical sneaker, and I wanted something that would keep my feet dry since it's so rainy here. I've worn them every day since I got them, and I absolutely love them! And no wet feet!
I wear these shoes with a pair of off the rack orthotics to help with my plantar fasciitis. My heel condition has improved tremendously, and I've also noticed that with these shoes I don't have the overpronation problem (foot rolling to the side) that I've had for years.
I know that my foot is a C width and these shoes fit perfectly, so I'd say the width is a little off but the overall size is right on target.
This was my first order with Zappos, and I'll definitely be ordering again. I love that there's no shipping charge and returns are free, too. I was very happy to see that my shoes arrived overnight.

Comfy and cute!
At first, this shoe was a little tight feeling on my bunions. After a wearing a few times the leather stretched and they are now one of the most comfortable shoes I have. I look forward to many walks this summer in these shoes! They even make my feet look smaller which is an added bonus!
