I was worried that the boots were too expensive, but they are well worth it. I often wear them without socks because I hate how my socks always fall down in boots when I work. My son tried them on and loved them. We bought him a pair for Christmas.

The puppy destroyed his last Uggs, so for my husband's birthday I decided to get him these Beacons which seemed sturdier. He loves them! They are super-warm and comfortable and seem to be plenty big. He has wide feet and high arches, but there is no problem getting them on (size 13). Also these allow him to go outside and muck around on our property and not get the suede upper messy. They're kind of a happy marriage between a regular Ugg and a slip-on work boot. His feet are toasty now again!

These Uggs are great (no surprise!). My son has been an Ugg wearer since he was a baby; he's now almost 4. These are great boots for the winter and he loves to wear them. They are, of course, super comfortable!

Okay boys, so the Ugg Beacon is pricey, rarely are they significantly discounted and Uggs are commonly seen on women. Just buy 'em. Buy them from Zappos to get fast, free shipping and cost free fit exchange if necessary. I wear 8 streets and bought 8s, fine. They are easy, comfy, warm and great looking; get lots of compliments. They are a welcome step up from wearing Sorels constantly. Wear them with anything and go anywhere. Putting these things on after wearing ski boots all day is nothing short of a religious experience. Great travel boots for western ski trips. I've worn the blacks for two winters and just bought the brown for variety. Here in Vermont we take our shoes off when we go into homes and these babies slip right on and off, no effort. I expect these boots to be with me forever as blackies show next to no wear. The materials, workmanship and overall quality is absolutely top shelf. Unlike most of the garbage out there, with these bad boys you get what you pay for. I enthusiastically recommend them without any reservations whatsoever. They will be the best boots you have ever had, period. Did I forget to say that I liked them?

I wear a size 10 1/2 and purchased a 10 and they fit perfect. These boots are so comfortable and warm. I feel as if I\'m walking barefoot. They are also very stylish and look nice with jeans. I get lots of compliments when I wear these. \r\n\r\n

Husband loved the look of these boots. Took a whole size smaller (he's usually an 8, took a 7, could have probably gone with a 7.5, had they come in 1/2 sizes), the 8 was way too big. Beautiful looking and should keep him warm this winter. Hasn't gotten to wear them yet, but wanted to get the word out about the sizing, which is important.

Dad loves it!
I bought these shoes for my dad; he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease about 2 years ago. It is at the stage where walking is not easy to do and the most elite brand and/or style of shoe would make his feet hurt so bad that he didn't even want to walk at all...these shoes are amazing and the perfect most comfortable shoe! He wears them everywhere! Even around the house he feels more stable and his feet are secure! Thanks UGG for making the greatest boots ever! My mother and I wear UGGS on a daily basis!!! I'm still working on my husband =D keep it up!!

Definitely worth a look -
These boots have helped me make the best of a worst-than-normal Boston winter. They are very, very warm. The sizing runs a little big, perhaps with the expectation that you'll be warming thick, warm socks, which I never do. Also, for what it is worth, the boots are a bit wider and bulkier than I expected. This probably explains why they are so comfortable out in the cold, but I still have to keep a pair of dress shoes in the office.

The best easy-going winter boot ever -
If you're looking for a super comfortable shoe for running around in the worst winter has to offer, this is the boot for you. Not exactly made for hiking through deep snow, it is perfect for slipping on (without socks) to run out and start the car, grab the paper, or shovel the walk. They are also perfect for a long commute in bad weather. They look great, feel incredible, and certainly do the job of keeping your feet warm. Also, I can't think of anything better to put on after a day of skiing. In short, they are everything I hoped they would be, and more.

Birthday Gift for my father -
When he opened these boots, my dad was thrilled. Last year we had picked out a pair of Ugg slippers for him and thought these would be a nice compliment. We followed the recommendations of other reviewers and order them "true to size". They were initially tight with a heavy sock but when my dad switched to a dress sock, they slipped on just fine. I told him that he could even wear them bare-foot. He loves them and will get a lot of great wear during the remainder of the Minnesota winter. As per usual, Zappos was marvelous in processing this order promptly and shipping the boots before most companies would even acknowledge your order. There simply is NO COMPARISON when it comes to online shopping. Zappos is the best - Hands down!!

Not worth the price, uncomfortable heel area. Great service from Zappos. Had to return the first 17, too big, 16 ok but not what I expected from Uggs. Free, fast shipping always! Keep up the great service! With a size 17 foot I'm a happy customer for 7 years.

Great for Kids!
These are great for my son. Easy on, easy off and super warm on those days you don't want to send your kids to school in big heavy snowboots! He loves these. I have a pair and love mine as well!

Big and Bulky -
I was surprised when these arrived, because the boot was shaped like a block, and that didn't really come through in the online pictures. The heels were pretty loose, and even though I went with a half-size smaller than I normally wear (a 10, instead of a 10.5), they were still too large. Having said that, they were very comfortable, and had they fit properly, I probably would have kept them. I don't think I can go all the way down to a 9, so I'm trying the Ugg Hartsville instead, even though it isn't entirely lined.

I love these boots!
I live in MN. These are the best I've ever owned in my 40 years of trudging through the tundra.
They keep my feet warm and also don't make me look like a big dork with honkin' large foot wear. I wear them to the office and keep 'em on all day.

I bought these boots because we are moving to Montana soon and I needed a boot for the winter. My husband had ordered the men's equivalent earlier and loves them so much he bought the black pair also. I don't understand why the women's boot is not waterproof also but I ordered it anyway. When I first tried them on they were a little tight widthwise across the ball of the foot but with wear this has ceased to be a problem. I normally wear a 5.5-6 size and ordered the 6. I cannot wear socks with this boot because of the tight fit and I have a fairly narrow foot. If you want to wear socks the order the next size up. I have a fairly high arch and this boot does not so I added a Triad orthotic and now this boot fits like a glove. I wear them all day long with out a problem. I did have to guy the items needed to waterproof the boot. The traction is great. I am thinking about ordering the black pair in a size 7 to be able to wear socks but I think I'll wait until we move to Montana and I go through my FIRST winter in snow to see if I there is a need.

Out on a limb I went by ordering a pair of Beacons for both my husband and son for Christmas. Neither one had expressed any interest and had, in fact, chuckled at the idea of men's Ugg boots. I was really shocked when they both opened them, tried them on and had glee in their eyes. They had never worn a shoe or boot as comfortable and they fit! (true to size) Since then, they have worn them everywhere, including in the house and (almost) to bed. I can't say enough about how comfortable they are...really makes a difference to have the entire interior foot bed surrounded by sheepskin. I tried them on and they feel even cozier than my classic Uggs. They are great for outdoor winter wear as they have soles made for gripping and can be worn in slush since the bottom portion is leather, not suede. Also, no bending or tying or lacing, just slip on and go.

Great boot, but runs big.
I bought a size 9 for my husband who wears an 8.5 and they are huge! Since they aren't available in half sizes, I've ordered an 8 and will be returning the 9. Otherwise, the boot is everything you'd expect from Ugg.

This is the 5th pair of Cole Haan’s I have bought. If you own a pair you will know why. These are the same as the rest stylish, comfortable, and good looking. You can’t go wrong with Cole Haan even though they are pricy.

GREAT Boots -
This is the most comfortable boot I've ever had. It is warm in this Michigan winter, even without socks on. I just slip it on and go to shovel snow. I bought just a bit large in case it was tight, but it works out fine and I could even wear these with some heavyweight socks in them and still would be easy to slip on and off. My previous boots were a pain to get on and off as I am a very LARGE man. These are a BREEZE. I am VERY happy.

Ugg Beacon - bought for my college-age son.
This is a wonderful boot and my son loves the style and warmth (ideal for Minnesota, where college students need to walk a great distance in the cold). His are a size 13 - and a 12-1/2 would have been ideal, but he is wearing socks and now is used to the looser and more comfortable fit. So, my only recommendation is for UGG to consider adding half sizes to their collection. ZAPPOS was wonderful. This is the first time we have ordered from you and the service and CUSTOMER service on the phone was superb. This is the best way ever to shop for shoes!!!

Thank you Zappos. As usual, the service was quick. The Ugg boots are really lightweight as I slog through the snow. The interior lining is warm and comfortable. The size was just right as I wear socks with them. I understand some people do not and find them just as comfortable.

Approximately one month ago she had emergency gall bladder surgery. On Tuesday, September 15th, she had a follow up with her surgeon before she was to leave to move into her dorm on Thursday, September 17th. At the appointment, the surgeon advised that under no circumstances was she to lift over ten pounds until the end of October. We were told to that she would have to use a rolling book bag. My friend highly recommended Zappos.com. On Tuesday, September 15th, Morgan and I picked out a book bag from Zappos. Morgan was so anxious to place her online order, she did not choose the priority shipping option. I called Zappos within 15 minutes of her placing the order. Your customer service rep was very kind and far exceeded my customer service expectations by making me a VIP and offering to waive the
overnight fee. I was very impressed and very grateful. The bag arrived overnight as promised, but it was too small. I hated to return the book bag because your rep had been so kind. Yesterday, a beautiful get well bouquet arrived at our home for Morgan. It was from Zappos! There is no way I will return that bag without picking something else out from Zappos. In addition, I want EVERYONE to know what a wonderful company you are. I am so impressed and cannot thank you enough Zappos! Also, thank you for giving me the e-mail address to send my feedback.
