Comfort epitomized -
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. They run a little big; maybe a 1/2 a size or less. It's also really convenient that the back folds down to be worn as a mule as it also makes them easier to put on.

Shoes unexpectedly took chronic pain down, noticeably!
My family has a rare conn. tissue disorder, which is very painful. My mom got a pair of these second hand, and just wore them, then when she wore her old shoes, couldn't believe how much her pain had been gone while wearing EARTH SHOES! That's AMAZING, considering our disorder!

Comfortable, scuffed immediately!
I wanted to be able to give these shoes a raving review, but unfortunately, I cannot. I actually bought these shoes for a friend initially, but when they came in, I just had to try them on. Well...I kept them. My friend wanted a different style and color Earth so I just kept these and ordered her the others. After putting them on, I absolutely had to keep them. They were, and still are, very comfortable. They look cute, too!
But...the negatives:
Within 2 weeks of wearing these shoes (and not even every day) they are totally scuffed. I don't wear them in "rough" environments (to the store, in my car, to my office, etc.) and they look like I've had them a year. I'm really sad, because my new, expensive shoes look like old worn out shoes already.
The other negative is that they seemed to stretch out a lot already. They felt perfect when I got them and they already feel a little floppy. I understand some stretch with leather, but I almost feel like they don't fit now (unless I wear thick socks) and since I have worn them for 2 weeks, I cannot return them.
I'm sad to have to write this review and although I gave them 4 stars, I don't know that I will buy Earth again.

Look great and were a perfect fit!
I gave these shoes to my daughter as a gift and they were great. She loved how they looked, fit, and felt while wearing them.

New Earth fan -
This shoe initially hurt my feet (I have flat feet) and I had hip pain, but my muscles are getting used to it and now I love earth! The negative heel thing really does make you have better posture and feel better, after you adjust to it

A wonderful shoe to wear-
This is the most comfortable show I've ever worn. It's not very attractive but looks fine with jeans which are what I wear most of the time. Can be worn as a clog if you want.

High insteps-
This shoe is everything I wanted- except that it hurts to wear it because of my high instep. Since I'd ordered one in two different sizes I thought that would improve or detract; in reality, the size was unimportant- both hurt the top of the foot where the bone is. I think it is just a mismatch between my foot and the shoe- I'll be looking for a different shoe in the same brand.

I've never been happier with a purchase, and I never thought I'd order shoes online, but nobody had this style in stock around here. They fit beautifully, with or without socks, and because I sprayed them before I wore them, they still look like new. I lived in Earth shoes in the early '70s, and now, in addition to the Harvest, I wear the athletic shoes, Magnitude sandals, and the Solar. Zappos made it a great first experience; I had them in a couple of days - excellent service. Thanks!

Excellent shoes!!!
It is very rare that I ever type an exclamation mark. These shoes deserve three. And the five stars. I bought some Earth sandals (Oasis) earlier, elsewhere, which I wore all summer. They were wonderful. And pretty chic for comfortable "sensible" shoes. I am now officially hooked on Earth shoes. I have had knee problems all my short life, and also acquired a cyst on the back of one knee a couple of years ago, which has now gone. The negative heel seems to make a miraculous difference to general knee condition, and improves overall posture. The shoes also happen to be well-made. They took little breaking in. The soles are durable, and (so far) have good traction on slippery surfaces. I walk a lot - it is my main means of transport - and am on my feet for several hours a day teaching. I would recommend Earth Shoes to anyone. I would also strongly recommend Zappos for their fine service.

Not a clunky shoe--
But super comfortable. My foot is somewhat narrow, but the neoprene back of this clog allows me to wear a closed-back shoe securely. Earth shoes are amazing in that they instantly bring your posture into alignment the second you put them on. They do feel a bit "strange" a first, but I assure you there is no need for a "break in" period. I love Harvest because they look equally good with a variety of pant styles. As I said before, they are not clunky like some of the other Earth styles, but every bit as comfortable. Personally, I size up a half size in Earth shoes, as I find they fit "small." I have a pair of Earth sneakers as well and they have added a new dimension to my fitness walking.

This is a delightful shoe - simple and substantial. I have a fairly wide foot and the shoe accomodates it perfectly. I'd agree with another reviewer who notes that the brown leather is richer than the photo suggests, a nice surprise.

Great shoe, but different -
I've never owned Earth shoes before, so I must say they take some getting used to. They seem a bit tight to me--I have to wear them with fine-gauge type socks. But this is a great shoe, and is quite comfortable. They are well-made and great looking.

Saved my arches -
With 3 small kids, I'm on my feet all day. These shoes have saved me - a supportive arch, a square front that doesn't cramp toes, and best of all, the negative heel has helped my lower back and posture. If at first the width seems snug (I have a wide foot), don't worry - with regular wear, the leather stretches to fit like a comfortable glove.

I bought the pair of harvest that was on sale, possible the color, but they fit too small/
I also got a pair of sandals a 1/2 size smaller than normal and they fit perfect, but the harvest style in my size was actually painful as it crammed my toes up into the top plus that were right at the edge.
I was so bummed, I really wanted the color.

Try these out!
This is a great pair of shoes. I was puzzled about how the negative heel thing would feel- but I must say, from a tall girl, these are awesome. They have the look of a substantial and fashionable shoe without adding several inches to your height. Not what everyone is looking for, but the overall comfort is great too and by the looks of them, they will endure for years. Very high quality.

The everywhere shoe -
I call my Earth Harvest my everywhere shoes because I wear them just about everywhere! To work, running errands, at home, all day long. The flexible heel cup back makes this shoe extra comfortable. I actually wear a 10 1/2 so I bought a size 11 and added extra comfort insoles inside the shoes to take up the extra room.

I love my Earth shoes in the 70's but this time I was disappointed with the fit. I felt they were too wide for my foot and I had to order a larger size than normal because the elastic back pushed my foot forward to the toe. Maybe a different style would have been better.

A really great shoe -
Extremely comfortable from day one. I'm on my feet 14-16 hrs a day and these keep me going with no pain. They don't look clownish like some others. My husband actually said how cute they look! I would wear this shoe forever.

Comfy Harvest Sandstone Eclipse -
These shoes are the closest thing to slippers I've ever worn. They don't have quite the same intense support bed as some of the previous Earth shoes I've owned and loved. These do feel as if they are a bit wide, but despite this, the comfortable bridge at the ankle (which is made of supple spandex or something!) keeps them on my feet.
