Mis-advertised -
Provides all-weather performance with waterproof leathers and seam sealed construction.
That is the claim at least. 10 minutes in the rain and my socks were wetter than they would have been in sandals. At least when wearing sandals, the water has somewhere to go. Wearing these shoes, the water was trapped inside.
The shoe looks very nice, unless it's been damaged by the rain. I'm giving it only 1 star for comfort because it gave me blisters after walking in them for a couple hours.
I had to throw these shoes away after wearing them for about 5 hours. Zappos service was great of course, but I couldn't return them after wearing them outside on the dirty city streets, and probably ruining the supposedly waterproof leather.

Repeat Performance -
This was my second pair and I am still as impressed with comfort and fit as I was with the first pair. I definitely will recommend them to anyone seeking a great shoe - comfortable, light, and with good arch support.

Terrible laces/fade fast -
The laces shred and then break very quickly - they're very thin and poorly made. The shoe is comfortable and breaks in fast. The brown leather fades very quickly and starts to look *too* informal after a few months. Surprisingly water resistant. The heel/sole looks like sort of cheap plastic.

Great shoe to spend the day in -
Very comfortable, light weight, and water resistant. It took less than a day of wearing around the office to break in and now I don’t even notice I have them on. They’re not too formal looking, but far from casual; the perfect style for a business casual office. I’ve even received a few compliments on how nice they look. Highly recommended.

Very nice shoes. They feel a little snug in the width, but I expect that they will adjust as they wear in. For those of us that are normally warm all the time, the waterproof aspect makes these shoes retain more heat, so use them during the colder weather.

These are great!
These shoes have been great. They are comfortable and work great with my inserts. My inserts for my feet cause me to get a half-size larger. In the case for these shoes, it was perfect. I wear these shoes to church and work and they feel almost like my sneakers. These have been the most comfortable and stylish shoes that I have ever owned. I bought both the black and the brown.

A Very Comfortable Shoe -
My husband commented on how comfortable these shoes are from the minute he put them on. He rarely gets excited about shoes. He likes these even better than his Allen-Edmonds shoes which cost three times as much.

Great shoe. I bought a pair in black and brown. They go great with pants or jeans. A little on the snug side but hopefully will break in a little.

Very comfortable shoes indeed -
I wear sandals most of the time because I cannot tolerate the toe-pain I get from most shoes. I wore these new to an event where I couldn't just remove them for comfort and I didn't have to. Perhaps the most comfort I've found in shoes except for sandals.

The width of the shoe was perfect. My only 'complaint' is, for me, not enough padding/cushion in the ball/fwd are of shoe.

Excellent everyday shoe -
As always, hush puppies have built a very lightweight shoe, now with a wider toebox than years past for comfort. Furthermore, it's downright cheap, based on far eastern labor. Materials are average, but durable. This is not a dressy shoe.

The laces leave a lot to be desired. On the third day, they had to be replaced. Yes, after the third day to be replaced!!!! I was extremely annoyed that I had to get replacements so soon. And to think hush puppies had such a great reputation. (once)

Comfortable Shoes for Elderly Men -
I have reached the stage in life in which finding presentable comfortable shoes is a problem. These fill the bill. The only gripe I have is that the leather in the shoes is a bit thick and stiff. Otherwise these are excellent shoes.

These shoes feel great and look great! I had to replace the insoles after a year because the gel pack opened up. No worries, though, because I am pretty tough on shoes and these ones hold up.

Great Looking Shoe!
It's hard to find stylish shoes in my husband’s larger size (14EEEE) and these are very nice-looking, contemporarily styled shoes which are also comfortable for him. The best of both worlds!

What a simple and satisfying experience -
I had never used Zappos services or purchased Hush Puppies before. My son suggested I try this site when I had trouble finding good looking, wide shoes to fit me. I took a chance just from the website appearances and description and have been thrilled with every aspect of the experience. Prompt response, update on progress, and arrival of exactly what I expected in a timely fashion and at a great price. I plan to use this resource repeatedly in the coming years.

This shoe has excellent fit and wins in the fit arena. However, the soles are very stiff and do not provide much cushion. Do not let the blue padding in the heel fool you, it's all show. If you are looking for a shoe with excellent cushion, then this is not the shoe for you. If the cushion was better, I might buy another pair later on. However, I'm going back to the cushy Brooks Turin.

Great for working on your feet...
Shoes were great to wear right out of the box! I'm on my feet most of the day at work and I typically use a gel insert for comfort. These were fine without the insert. Haven't really tested the waterproof capabilities yet, but the construction of the shoe seems consistent with that promise. As a guy in his late 20's, I also think they look pretty stylish. Overall, very pleased and I'll probably pick up another pair or two so I can rotate and extend shoe life.
