I love this sneaker! It takes a little time to break it in but after that it is soft and supple. Plenty of toe room. I am a nurse and I wear these to work- 12hr shifts- on my feet the whole time. I don\'t wear any other shoe for the past 10 years. I highly recommend this shoe and hope it is never discontinued.

This a good shoe for walking. Not big and bulky like some. Not quite as comfortable on the bottom of my feet as I would like, but comfortable. The last pair I had I wore for 2 years and they didn't even look worn. I have always liked Hush Puppies for their comfort and wide sizes.

Not as comfortable as I thought -
I bought a pair of these in the past and found them to be more cushioned and comfortable than this pair. The sole seems thinner and less shock absorbent. They do not provide the comfort I had hoped for.

These shoes are comfortable and great for casual wear. I can seldom find a shoe that I can wear without pain. So far no pain. There is moderate support and ample toe room. I generally wear a 9.5 but a 9 fits perfectly. The outer sides are high and tapered so no gaps. The inner toe leather is supple and causes no pressure on bunion areas. Most importantly support is properly placed under the shaft of the foot with a long heel that prevents the arch from sagging. Great shoe!

This shoe is not stylish, but it is oh so comfortable. If you walk a lot in your job, this is the shoe for you.

Uncomfortable shoes -
The Hush Puppies are not comfortable due to the fact that the toe box is too hard. It is particularly bad when I am walking downhill! This is the second time I have bought Hush Puppies in several years and both times found this to be true. I would not recommend the shoe to anyone with sensitive feet.

General comments -
I have been wearing these shoes for many years, but can no longer find them locally. I put them on this morning and have worn them several hours without any discomfort. I do notice they are constructed somewhat differently than the old pair. The sole seems is of a "plasticky" substance rather than rubber. I am wondering whether they will slip on wet or waxed surfaces. I like the appearance and color (stone). White gets shabby looking too soon and black is so severe. These don't look "that bad" with any type of pants. Also, they don't have that clumsy wide toe look that most of these types of shoes do.

I have been wearing this particular shoe (upbeat) for 10 years. I find it very comfortable; soft leather, with a sole that has bounce. I exercise 4 times a week wearing this shoe and it last me about 7-8 months before I need a new pair. It is true to size. I would rate this shoe a 7-8. I do wish Hush Puppies Corp. would start making it in a nubuck again.

Your feet don't hurt after 8 hrs. on them!
I use this shoe to work in. I have used it for a number of years now. When I am wearing this shoe my feet do not hurt after standing all day for 8 to 10 hours straight. They last me about 6 months then I start to feel that they are not as comfortable. So I know it is time to order a new pair.

I love Hush Puppies Upbeat shoes. They are so very comfortable, and I like it that they come in different colors. I cannot wear a flat shoe, which most walking shoes are, so these fit the bill very nicely.

I love my Hush Puppies -
I have been buying these shoes for years, they are the only shoes that I can put on new and go out shopping and they never hurt my feet. Also wear them to work where I stand on cement floors for ten hours a day and my feet never hurt.

The shoe is very comfortable, with plenty of toe room. My only problem with it, is that the sole tends to slip on most smooth surfaces. I am not excited about wearing it outdoors on wet surfaces.

Fantastic Shoe-
I have a pair of these shoes I have had for about 4 years that are still in great shape. I tried several other brands but came back to the Bounce shoe and bought 2 more pairs. They run about a size smaller than what I normally take but now I have my number and am more than pleased.

Felt like I was moving downhill!!
These shoes felt amazingly comfortable. Unbelievably so, but when I walked in them I felt like I was moving downhill. Well, yes, the heel is higher than the front of the shoe. I've never experienced this before. Is this common? Maybe I am behind the times, but I thought shoes were supposed to be even! I returned these because of this, not sure that slope would be good for one's back, knees, etc..

The Hush Puppies shoes that I purchased fit and feel great on my feet. I had foot surgery about a year ago and could not find the right shoe. I still have to put in extra arch supports which I purchased at Wal-Mart. But I had to do that with any shoe, only the Hush Puppies made my feet feel heavenly.

Only shoes that work -
I bought these shoes for my mom. She has arthritis and her feet are in very poor condition. These are the only shoes that she can find that giver her support all day. She has tried other types, but nothing else works. She said these shoes are the best.

I have major foot and leg problems and this shoe gives me support and comfort. I can put this shoe on and wear it comfortably right away. It doesn't need a break-in period.

The perfect walker in a slim size!!
It is very difficult to find an athletic shoe in a slim size, especially one that is as comfortable and attractive as this one. I did have to purchase a half size longer than my normal size. Am considering buying a second pair to wear on alternate days for I walk up to 3-4 miles every day.

I love these shoes! I have owned four pair, and they are very difficult to wear out. The support is there even after the outer leather is scuffed and worn. I prefer the light gray color, but it was not available for my recent purchase. The shoes have been excellent for my needs.

Simply the Best!
I have worn Hush Puppies Professionals for years. I am a nurse and have to stand/walk for hours a day. They became very hard to find in the stores where I love. Thanks to Zappos I never have to worry about driving around hoping to find a store that carries them!!!! These shoes are the most comfortable around, they are lightweight and look good. The best thing for me is that Zappos carries the really hard to find size of 10.5 and if you don't like them, returns are free...it is a win/win situation. Keep up the good work Zappos!!!!!
