Found this slipper to be extremely comfortable and well made. I did find the fit to be a little snug and went up 1/2 size from my normal shoe size.

My husband's favorite slipper...
Just not recommended for outdoor wear! Buy the slipper at the man's normal shoe size. It will be tight-fitting initially but becomes butter-soft and a true fit.

Beautiful Slipper Very Uncomfortable -
While beautiful to look at this shoe is painful to wear. Requires socks on to eliminate the sharp edges along the unfinished inside.
I would not recommend this slipper.
My first disappointment from Zappos, although they remain my shoe source.

I bought these slippers for my husband. He said they felt very comfortable immediately. There was no tightness anywhere, even though the ball of his foot is wide and his heel very narrow. He is extremely pleased with them.

This is my favorite slipper. In a house with concrete, radiant heat floors, these are just the ticket - soft padding in the heel, soft leather in the sole. They are instantly as warm as the floor - and delightfully comfier! I love their look even. Thank you.

This is a little gem of a slipper, reasonably priced and good for those who like some support in the heel, i.e., not the flat moccasin feel. Also, its all-leather construction makes wearing it far more comfortable than those lined with fleece.

Great purchase!
Bought these for my Dad for Father's Day and he loves them. He is very particular and we've tried several slippers that haven't worked for him. He loved these, and turned out to coincidentally be the same brand as his 10 year old slippers he didn't want to part with.
He says they're super comfy and they look great!
Highly recommend!

Good comfortable slippers -
In the past I have always worn fleece lined slippers, which retained odor and never really fit well. These slippers fit great. The only problem I have encountered is that the inner sole liner comes out when I take off the slippers. I can push it back into place, but it is somewhat annoying to have to do this. Notwithstanding this, I really like the slippers.

I'm very pleased with this shoe. I had tried several other brands and none of them were wide enough, although the information given said that they were wide. The leather is very soft, and the whole shoe is comfortable.

I wear them in my office -
I like to kick my shoes off as soon as I come into my office or home, but of course I can't walk around in my socks in the office! These look like regular shoes and fit like slippers, perfect. To get them a little loose and comfortable like I wanted I needed to get them 1/2 larger than my regular size.

Bought them for my husband 10 years ago...
And after almost daily wear, they finally started to wear down on the bottom of the heel (where they are sewn, not glued, together). I was surprised to find the same shoe on Zappos, so I got him a new pair, and he's very happy! He says they're very comfortable.

I bought these slippers for my father for Christmas. They are very sophisticated looking but buttery soft and, according to my father, extremely comfortable. Definitely a 5-star slipper. If I could, I'd add a 6th star for Zappos' incredible service!

Good indoor slippers -
I bought these slippers because I like the look and they come in a narrow size. I've been wearing them for over 4 years now so they are very durable. The leather at the heel part of the sole will be the first to give in. It's torn already. I also bring them with me whenever I travel. They could use a little more cushioning or padding though notably in the heel part. I see that the heel is made of hard plastic. I suggest that L.B. Evans should use soft rubber instead or those gel-like material from Dr. Scholls. It's good if you have carpet flooring but they are not as comfortable if you use them on hardwood flooring plus the sole will not last as long because they are made of smooth leather. I made a mistake of wearing them on concrete to get the mail so the soles got scuffed. They need to be something more durable (perhaps suede) to wear even for just a bit outside to get your mail or newspaper. Leather stretches over time so if it feels a bit tight just give it time. If it fits right, it will loosen a bit in time. So it depends on how you wear your slippers. Some like a snug fit some like a little more wiggle room. They're also not good to wear during hot humid days because of the leather insole which lets moisture from sweat stay longer.

Manufacturing Defect -
I have been buying this product for at least ten years. They last about a year. This year only the inside sole is moving to the middle, creating discomfort. I bought both size 11 and 11-1/2, and it seems size does not make any difference. This must be a manufacturing defect. I had one pair replaced, but the same thing happened. I am wearing my third pair. The discomfort is somewhat less with a larger size.

Mixed feelings -
Really liked the look and overall quality and comfort of the shoe. It seems to be a little short for the size and (although I have just had them a short time) I'm concerned about the durability of the sole since it appears to be of the same soft leather as the top. That's probably no problem on carpet, but I'm concerned about longevity on my hardwood floors. I'll agree with another reviewer that the insole seems excessively hard. A little more give in the insole would be appreciated.
