No Frankenstein-walk -
These boots have all the style longed for in a combat boot (and then some), without forcing you to do the stiff, Frankenstein-walk that usually goes along with owning a new pair of boots. They're comfortable from the start, and just get better with use.
Usually, Fluevogs feel a full size smaller on me, but these felt only a half size smaller than marked. But if you plan on putting insoles in, the capped toe tends to cut across the top of the foot, so plan the sizing accordingly.

Great for narrow feet.
I bought these boots because of the reputation for comfort and style. These are great if you have narrow feet, but not if you have wide feet. I have a minor bunion on my left foot and these shoes hurt me so much that had to stop wearing them and I couldn't walk properly for a few weeks. After only wearing mine a few times the back of the boot came unstitched. Fluevog will fix it but the catch is that I have to go to one of their stores to get it done. The store is very far away - in the next state. I will probably pay to get them fixed on my own because I will never be able to make it to their store. I'm not buying Fluevog again. If you have wide feet, buy a size up.

Tough, sexy, not hypermasculine.
I'm picky about combat boots, and these are the boot for you! Or at least, they're the boot for me: durable, comfy, lug sole, but no hint of workboot or army boot. These are true combat boot style, the cap toe upping the fashion stakes for the whole boot. I agree about ordering a half size up, but if you have even slightly wide feet I recommend a full size up. I ordered both pairs, a half and full size up, and tried them on side-by-side; the full size up won purely for width, since the length on both pairs was fine. PS: Zappos, I love you.

My New Favorite Shoes!
I love, love, love these boots! They are so comfortable and stylish. I ordered a size 7 (UK 5) where I usually wear a 6.5 and they fit perfectly. Perfect!

NewVogs for YouVogs - Order a half size up, my friends, and then you won't have to be without your new Tates for a second. Luscious pink and burgundy combo, comfy yet funky, and, if they're anything like the rest of my Vog collection, indestructible. I never want to take these off; I might just sleep in them.

John Fluevog Tate-
Fluevog’s are beautifully constructed high quality footwear. When I put on my first pair of Fluevog’s I just got this sense of "Aahhh", it's a nice feeling to wear such great shoes. The Tate is wonderful. I wear true size 9 women’s and can sometimes fit into an 8.5 depending on the brand but I did have to return my size 9 Tate for a 9.5. I wasn't sure at first but when I received the 9.5 and tried it on I knew immediately that it was a better size so I suggest ordering at least a half size larger. They are made of very high quality leather and it feels like they are giving your foot a hug when you wear them. Walking in them is like walking on air, I find these more comfortable than sneakers. Perfect toe box, good heel height and they come up about halfway between your heel and knee. Highly recommend.

Fluevog is incredible -
Absolutely precious shoes. I have them in the burgundy/pink and they are awesome. As with all Fluevogs they are a bit snug at first but break in beautifully. I have owned the Skipropes (and worn them heavily) for about 5 years. I'm sure these will hold up as well. My big boot dilemma is finding boots that actually fit my calves (most are way to big). Fluevog is the only brand that actually hugs my calves. So if you have that similar problem, these boots (or the skipropes) are for you.
