These Saucony Originals are terrific. In fact, they\'re my second pair. (I purchased my first pair about four years ago, and they\'re still going strong - a bit dirty from heavy use, but still going strong.) And they\'re as comfortable as a soft feather bed on a cool winter evening. Obviously, I like \'em a lot.

Sneakers are my 17 year old\'s fashion statement. Buying them has been a years long nightmare of mall stores with loud music and terrible service and failed excursions. So before school this fall he found this pair on Zappos that he liked. I was skeptical. But there was free shipping and the price was reasonable. I took a chance. They arrived in days and he loves them. We will shop here again. It was fast, easy, and stress free!

Size runs a little small with the "Courageous", so I had to return the 8 and get 8-1/2. These breathe better than the Saucony "Jazz", and are almost as comfortable as the "Jazz". I like having both.

Dancing Shoes -
I dance, therefore I am. I needed a pair of kicks that gave me some support as well as flare on the dance floor so I picked these puppies up. They add some welcome cushion to the heel area, but the squared off edges concern me just a bit. I think with a little breaking in, they would be perfect. I would encourage kids who roll their feet a bit when they dance to take caution on the ankles until they wear in a bit. They could honestly use just a tad more in the ball of the foot area but that's just how I dance, on my toes.

Another (slightly smaller than Jazz) winner from Saucony -
My first pair of Saucony shoes were running shoes in my twenties; they gave great cushioning and were inoffensive enough that I kept them for three years of regular wear. Second pair were the Jazz originals; worn daily when I returned to college in my late twenties/thirties. Good looking enough for every day and soft enough for the gym/bike/train/walking routine. Enter new pair, only because the soles finally wore off of the others. These are definitely shorter in the toes box than my other pair, which I was okay with, since the others stretched out a bit. I don't mind the word courageous really, it’s a good word. Furthermore, you can't really see it if your pants are long enough and the person looking at them isn't a garden gnome.

I love these shoes I have gone through 4 pairs of them already and am about to by another pair they last a long time, fit really well, and look good. The best shoe I have ever bought. I recommend these shoes to everyone.

Saucony Original's Courageous -
I got these in the silver/gray, and I CANNOT be happier! What a great alternative to the overdone, dragged out NB 574s. Since I wear an 11.5 in women's, I got the men's 10, and they fit perfectly. I swear they make my feet look smaller! The tiniest downfall is they are kind of stacked, which is kind of annoying if you aren't into that look. However, overall they are INCREDIBLE.

These are the 3rd pair of Saucony shoes. They are very comfortable for him, but this new style he wore a half a size bigger.

AWESOME!
These shoes are great! Much like the gentleman from another review I've read, I was originally searching for the grey New Balance 547 or whatever the number is. I've always loved Saucony, although I can't figure out exactly how to pronounce it. Anyway, I came across these shoes, and they looked better than the NB, and I believe they were less expensive! On top of that, they arrived the very next day because of Zappos' excellent customer service!

Good looking tennis shoe for wearing out casual. Not sure about comfort level, such as running or walking exercise, but just a nice looking shoe wear out with casual wear.

I was tired of buying the same old NB 574 and I saw these as a potential replacement. After wearing them for a while I broke them in and could not be happier. They are just as comfortable, if not more, than the NB 574 and look just as nice. Definitely recommended and Zappos is a great place to buy from!

3rd time a charm?
This was my first pair of Sauconys, had for years and years. Loved 'em, and got a new pair. I wore them underway on a submarine and enjoyed the comfort day in and day out for months on end. Had to throw them away just because they got dirty. They stayed completely intact though. I’m sure I’ll get a 3rd pair sometime soon.

These shoes are even better in person. I'm female and I bought a men's pair (usually wear women's 9, bought men's 7, both euro 40). Brown and orange color are awesome, go with everything!

I just want to say that I love this shoe. It is light, comfy, and it was affordable.
Additionally, Zappos exceeded all my expectations, proving they're willing to do anything they can to leave the customer happy. I had a delivery problem so they send another pair 2nd day air for free. If only retailers were so good to their customers...

These things are like wearing socks, they're so comfortable. However, I don't recommend them for running or long walking tours, the support isn't there for me. (The New Balance 991 is great for running if you love the grey suede look.) As mentioned in another review, not many people have this shoe, which makes it so much cooler than the New Balance 574 (ultimate trend shoe/retro rip-off). Keep it a secret!

the only sneaker for me -
Got them in the heather. I have big feet and these flatter. I also have flat feet and these have a pretty decent little arch thrown in. Not the brown though. They look the same but are a slightly different model. Those are still comfy though. They are a very forgiving and well made sneaker.

These shoes are fantastic, look great, not too many people have them, and are very comfortable. I recommend, but keep it D.L. so not too many people start getting them. I would hate to see them turn into the new New Balance 574.

Good shoes.
My first pair of Saucony's was the Jazz. I still like that model the best for its fit, feel and look. The Courageous, however, is still a great shoe with a slightly different look and fit. I wear a 12M in the Jazz, but the 12 in Courageous seems to fit a bit more loosely.

Stylish but,
Saucony shoes aren't always that comfortable on my feet, but these feel *really* good. Well padded and supportive. I bought the brown and orange style and they are a bit flashy yet are still flexible with different outfits. The problem is they have the word "COURAGEOUS" stitched in embarrassingly large letters down the side. I mean, I'm as brave as the next guy, but don't really want this fact plastered across my shoes.

Courageous do their thing -
A quality shoe with a fairly hip look for a reasonable price. What more can you ask for? I have purchased Saucony in the past and I have found them to be some of the most comfortable shoes on the market (and inexpensive). I would buy these shoes again today and I suggest that any that is looking for a comfortable shoe to just kick around in look at these puppies!
I have a narrow foot, so these shoes were right on, but if I was a man with a wide foot I might try to find a different shoe.
In addition, I would like to say that if you are hesitant about buying your shoes from Zappos.com DON'T BE! Zappos is one of, if not the best, online store that I have ever done business with. I highly recommend it!
