For Beeswax only: I have many Wallabees and just got the beeswax in the mail today, they are much smaller than a normal Wallabee and much stiffer. I had to return them and they don't look at all what the picture shows; they look like the plain brown leather covered in, well wax. I'm going to stick to the nubuck Wallabees because they're incredibly comfortable.

This shoe is big, clunky, and over sized. I really wish I would have gone to a shoe store to try these on before I ordered them because I bought my size and they are too big. They actually fit fine when I first got them, but after I broke them in, they were too loose. My foot slides when I walk on an uneven surface. They probably run at least a 1/2 size too big. You would think after 40+ years of making these things Clarks would be able to size them correctly. The soles are made of a very soft natural eraser-type rubber that turn a disgusting color of black on the bottom after you wear them in public.

Great shoes -
These were for our 21 year old son to wear all over a college campus. He loves them. The reviews were extremely helpful (we knew to order down). He usually wears an 11, so we ordered 10 and 10.5, kept the 10.5. He's very happy with the quality and comfort. The shoes are great looking with most everything he wears. Versatile shoe.

This is a great shoe. I like the fact that it's very comfortable and doesn't look like a sneaker. I ordered a half-size smaller than I might with some shoes.

Clarks are my new favorite brand -
This is my second pair of Clarks, first pair of Wallabees. Great shoes. A bit heavy, but extraordinarily pliable and soft. My only beef with them is the sole is quite narrow; coupled with the height, it's actually easy to roll an ankle. My right ankle is loose due to a series of severe sprains, so maybe you won't have a problem. As they break in, they provide a bit more support and mold to your soles. Not sure I'd use these for long walking, but then again, I'm pretty demanding when it comes to walking/all day work shoes. For cruising around town, band practice on my feet for several hours, or going out, they are very comfortable and channel that classic Jeff Spicoli look.

Comfortable with one flaw -
Everything is the same as the pair I had several years ago EXCEPT for the dye used on the leather surface - it mars very easily leaving areas which are void of the dye. The comfort is excellent as always.

Just as expected!
These Wallabees are the perfect shoe for my teenage son, and he is certainly getting good use from them. He wears a size 12 in some shoes, but I knew from past experience to order an 11 in this particular shoe. Comfort and fit are fabulous, and as usual, Zappos outdid themselves! I ordered the shoes at 10:30 on a Wednesday night, and they were at my house before noon on Friday! How do they DO that?!

My third pair! Can't get enough of them!
Comfortable, stylish -- that's why I have them in three colors (and there may be some more up ahead). I used to spend an arm and a leg on Mephistos -- no reason to do that any more. And thanks to Zappos for having them in size 14. (Oh, yeah, if you have big feet, the shape of this shoe de-emphasizes it.)

Just haven't broke them in yet -
Wow Zappos is amazing! Ordered these shoes at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Saturday and they were on my feet Monday morning at 9!! Great shipping. Man these shoes are Clarks so you know what you're getting. Low cut I think looks better but I will be buying a high top pair very soon! Def get them a half size smaller than you would normally get.

Solid Like A Rock.
It feels like there is a little rock on the left shoe toward the front. It hurts when you walk and at the end of the day my foot is sore and cannot have any pressure put on it. I have been soaking it hoping that it will recover.

All Purpose -
This is a great all-purpose shoe. It looks great with jeans or khakis. One thing is I ordered my size and they felt a little big. I returned them and got a half size smaller and they were perfect. Zappos had the second pair at my door in less than 24 hours... They are highly comfortable, and they even give you a little height... the only neg thing I have is that they are kinda heavy and clunky...but I guess that’s the style.

Several occasion stepper -
These Clarks are very comfy and of course looking great!
I’m very happy to have bought them.
Their stylish as well as classic look makes these shoes a "several occasion stepper." I would recommend them to every man.

My favorite shoe.
I've had to go through three pairs to finally get to a comfortable size. In addition, lighter colored socks will stain when you're breaking these bad boys in. Great looking and comfortable. My favorite shoe.

Great Shoe -
These shoes are excellent. I have had the same pair for almost 2 years now, and they still fit the same as the first day I got them. I wear them everyday, and I am a teacher, so I'm on my feet most of the time. The only problem I've ever had was for the first couple of weeks I had them, the brown coloring wore off on my socks. But that soon stopped, and these shoes are awesome.

Wallabees-
There is no other shoe like the Wallabee, not even close. Was afraid since for quite a few years, they are built in China rather than Ireland that the quality would not be the same, but fortunately, it is. My son really liked these shoes. Unfortunately, in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina, our upstairs burned with all my sons' belongings. I will probably order another pair as soon as I am able.

This shoe is not true to the size of the wallabees I have worn for years from England. They slip from my feet.

If you like clunky, ugly, funky shoes, these are for you. They have almost a Birkenstock aura to them, in the sense that they look best with corduroy or old denim and remind me of photos of Woodstock. And cushy, like the ride on grandpa's Oldsmobile. But they do have stiff uppers and require some breaking in.
