Beautiful!
This boot is so comfortable and fun to wear. The equestrian style is a wonderful contrast to other boots on the market today. The silver rings add a nice touch. They do make noise when you walk, but I have not found it to be particularly annoying. They are attractively and comfortably lined and are nice and warm on a cold day. The full side zipper makes them easy to get on and off. They are quality boots and should last for many years.

Attractive and tall-
The boot is lighter in color than chocolate; and very tall. I am 5'2", and when I opened the box was worried that they'd be too tall. They come all the way up to my knee, but they are very attractive. The inner lining is thin glen plaid flannel- these are boots you'll keep for 10 years or so if waterproofed. Classic look.

Gorgeous European Equestrian Style Boot -
I absolutely love these boots. The look is classic. I'm an equestrian and have riding boots that cost many, many times more -- so I know boots. These boots capture all of the essential style, feel, and look of European Polo and riding boots for an economical price. I like the easy on and off of the inside zipper. The quality is very good and Etienne Aigner's logo is just a plus. Fit is true to size. On me they are tight in the calves, but I have large calves. I'm going to go back and buy every color offered as it is so hard to find boots with this much style for this price.

Great casual but still dressed up boot-
I bought this book in the 'tobacco' color. It's a great color for the boot. You can go dressy or casual with these. I like to wear them with knee length skirts.

Riding boots -
I have been looking for a flat riding boot style for a long time. I got another pair of Etienne Aigner Eldidge boots that were ankle height that I loved so I knew I could not go wrong with these. They look great except that the calf is about an inch too big. Guess I have smaller calves than I thought. Also my nail dragged on the leather which caused a mark on it but other than those two things the boots are GREAT! True to size and comfortable. Would buy from Zappos again.

Great Stylish Boot-
Very stylish, very comfortable boot. Many compliments on this boot! This is not a boot to be worn for extreme cold. I live in Maine and can wear it most days.

Ideal Boots!
These boots fit my feet and legs perfectly. They are incredibly comfortable and very well made. The lining inside is also beautiful, a plaid cloth very appropriate to the style. They are classic and most definitely a favorite of mine already.

THE PERFECT BOOT-
Wow, this is one sexy boot! With the low heel, it is so comfortable, but it doesn't diminish the sexy look. There are rings and Aigner logo zippers on it and they do rattle. I HIGHLY recommend this boot. It fits perfectly, is high enough on my long legs to be very attractive. Looks, comfort, overall, probably the best I have EVER had!!

Walking boot with more elegance than Doc Martins-
Could use slightly more width across toe for max comfort; but found these boots to be an excellent compromise between style and comfort for walking. Not bad with skirts either. Prefer Doc Martins for comfort; but these are more refined.

I like these boots!
The first day I wore them for about 10 hours and my feet and calves felt fine. They are snug but not too tight. I like that the zipper goes completely down to the sole. Takes some getting used to the hooks "banging" around on the outside. Comfortable heel, not too high, and easy to walk in. I received many compliments as well.

Perfect boot for me!! Wanted a casual, stylish boot with a low heel. Very comfortable; fits true to size (not too narrow- a plus for keeping feet warm in the cold.) Also, shaft circumference is true to what is advertised.

Nice boot -
Boot fits true to size. Calf is just right, but I have small calves and often boots are way too big there. Not as much cushioning in sole, I have added insoles.

Just a little too tight-
I am a size 9 and will need to exchange these for a 9 1/2. I don't THINK I'll need a 10, but... But otherwise, they're just what I thought they'd be. I like them! And the liner is really classy and makes me feel like they're actual riding boots.

The best riding boot -
What a beautiful boot; every detail is of the highest quality. From the soft, plaid flannel lining right down to the last stitch. I think it is the best looking boot I've ever owned. If you've been searching for a riding boot, this one is worth every last penny and more -- I promise you will love them.

Thanks to the reviews of others, I finally have a boot for a narrow calf that looks great and isn't too expensive. It's a beautiful boot for the money.

Perfectly Chic and Comfortable -
The boots look and feel fantastic. I believe they are true to size and have a very chic, lasting look about them. Nice smooth but firm leather shaft (so no "sagging" in the leather) with well-done ring detail. Very military/equestrian style. As usual, Zappos had the boots to my door in the quickest time possible (one business day). Amazing. I always look on Zappos first.

Great Buy -
It's my first time living above the Mason-Dixon line, and have never purchased anything more than ankle and cowboy boots. I've received many compliments on these shoes - and it's sometimes hard to get a compliment in NYC. I walk several blocks everyday, and these boots withstood the test from DAY ONE. They're also warm. They look way more expensive than the actual cost... and I'm now on the search for my next pair of boots that will defnitely be purchased from Zappos.

Highly recommend this riding boot -
I got these boots in brown leather. The sizing is accurate. The color is beautiful and accurate in photo. The leather is soft, though its been scratched a few times since I’ve worn them, and the scratch marks don’t heal as well as in a better quality leather. These are great boots. VERY comfortable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a (fashion) riding boot.

These boots did not have to be "broken in." Very comfortable. Look good with skirts as well as trousers. Good value.

The perfect pair of riding boots?
I was looking for a pair of riding boots, and bought- and returned- two more expensive pairs before finding these. They are great. The leather is beautifully smooth and shiny. They are long enough for long legs like mine (I'm 5' 10"), and big enough in the calf to tuck in my pants. They also are very comfortable. To the extent there is anything I would change about them, they are a bit heavy, but not uncomfortably so, and the round toe is a bit clunky than a narrow/pointy toe. But one of the two pairs of boots that I returned had a narrower toe, and part of why I returned it was because it felt too constricting, so I guess that's a trade-off you have to make. All in all, though, these boots are everything I was looking for, and the fact that they were a fraction of the cost of many of the other riding boots out there just makes me all the happier to have found them.

Gorgeous, but no 15" shaft-
I was heart-broken to have to send these gorgeous shoes back, but the shaft didn't come near to zipping, even though my calf size is 14 1/2" and they said the shaft circumference is 15". If you have a slimmer calf, they are soft and beautiful.

Great looking, but not side wide in the calf -
I have always had problems with tall boots due to my large calves..I thought these might do it, but as usual, they were still a bit too small and I need to get them stretched. However I love the overall style and comfort.
