Great bag for freelancers and commuters -
This is a grown-up version of messenger bag (which I also own)- its padded back is perfect for safe transport of laptop- whether on a plane, bike of on foot- but can still be worn as cool messenger bag.

Cool bag -
Looks great, has a place for everything, books, pens, papers, cd's, iPod, cables, laptop. I have an HP pavilion 17" and it is a tight fit in the padded laptop compartment, but it does fit. Lots of room for other stuff even with the laptop inside. Works great for the commute to college. Waterproof liner makes a walk in the rain no problem.

Exactly What I Was Looking For -
This bag is near perfect. It has plenty of room for my laptop, my camera, an assortment of cables and a few files. Rugged design. Comfortable shoulder strap. Excellent design.

Possibly the best PC Messenger bag made -
After much research, I went with the Commute XL and am really pleased with this bag. The XL is only 2 inches wider than the standard Commute bag, but with all the power cords I carry (laptop, phone, iPod, etc.), I felt the extra space would come in handy. This bag has more zippered compartments and pockets than I can tell you. And as someone that flies often, this bag is made for travel. My iPod has a perfect pocket up front, my airline tickets fit in a zippered, padded back area for easy access, my water bottle on the side and wallet and keys in one of the other pockets. Build quality of this bag is fantastic and I only wish Timbuk2 could make this model in the U.S. as they do with their traditional messenger bags. Otherwise for the money spent and the guarantee that Timbuk2 provides with the bag - it is tough to beat.

College sophomore use of Timbuk2 -
My daughter requested the Timbuk2 to provide protection for her laptop and capacity to carry along extra books as well. She knew exactly what she wanted and the extra large Timbuk2 provides it.

I hate going shoe shopping with my kids! It's a nightmare, but how else can you buy shoes for your kids, you need their feet. However, this is how I will shop for shoes from now on. How can you go wrong, free shipping both ways? These shoes are great, my kids love them and so do I. This is the happiest that I have ever been shoe shopping. And the customer service is AMAZING!
