Very comfortable and long lasting -
I bought my first pair of these shoes 3-4 years ago; I am really rough on shoes and totally wore out my last pair. I have lots of other pairs of shoes, but these are my favorite day shoes - very comfortable and easy to slip on/off. I was very pleased I could find them on Zappos and they fit just like the last pair. They are well made, not too expensive, and very comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe - straight out of the box you can wear it all day. Keeps its good looks for months without extra care. Liked it so much, I got a second pair.

Like Butter!
I just bought these shoes for my husband and he absolutely loves them. His exact quote was, "They're like butter on my feet!" He swears by Ecco, and is obviously very happy with these. They're not my absolute favorite style-wise but they're still pretty darn nice-looking.

ECCO Delight -
I've bought 7 pairs of Eccos over the last 10 years. My first was at a trade show in 1998 where I was doing 12hrs on my feet. My wife bought me the casual shoe and brought them to me. I had never had anything on my feet so comfortable and light. I've not worn any other since except for my sneaks (Reebok) since and have just purchased 2 more pair one black and 1 brown. Wearing the black ones now. Virtually no break in period and very stylish. Mucho Kudos

The sizing is a bit screwy. The same size I had in an earlier version of the shoe was too big this time. Zappos of course made it easy to exchange, and the new size fits perfectly. There is a slight, unpleasant tightness across the arch, but I expect this will fade as I wear the shoe in. The look is superb, and worth the slight initial discomfort.

First Ecco shoe to disappoint -
This is the first Ecco shoe to disappoint my husband, who has been a delighted Ecco wearer for many years. While the shoe is smart looking and provides typical Ecco comfort, the sides of the shoe gap noticeably and unattractively when he walks.

Not as comfortable as I'd hoped -
I've owned several pair of Ecco Cross shoes before and have a couple pair now. The Cross model are extremely comfortable, have good support (I stand on a hard surface all day when I'm working), and require zero break-in. I wanted something that looked a little better with slacks and would be equally as comfortable. After reading the reviews, it looked like the Business Comfort Slip On would fill the bill. It may be my feet, but I find some irritation where the crease in the right toe has developed. We'll see how it goes. Also, they need a little more break-in around the ankle as they are more rigid than the Cross. Regarding Ecco generally: I usually wear a size 9. Ordered a 43 Cross originally, which proved too large. 42 is perfect. So just be aware of that. Same with the Slip On - 42 is equal to a size 9.

ECCO's Business Comfort Slip On -
Overall a nice shoe, however the shoe at medium width was too narrow for my feet. Never had I experienced that before. The shoe is nothing special to look at and comfort level is ok. It is however a very lightweight shoe. This pair does require break in time.
I will not however buy Ecco’s again.

After 4 hours, painful!
I tried very hard to like these shoes. I've had them for over a year now. At first, they felt very comfortable and looked good. I was happy, but consistently (as in: every single time I've worn them) they begin to hurt the tops of my feet BADLY after about 4-6 hours. I've never experienced this with a shoe and I don't have oddly shaped feet. I think the elastic on the sides may not have enough give and over time the pressure against the top of my feet starts to really hurt. I've worn these shoes for a total of about 30-40 days over the past year hoping they'd finally break in (also tried shoe trees for a couple of months). No improvement. If I knew I'd never have to have them on for longer than about 2 hours on a given day, I'd probably like them a lot (5 stars for comfort, 4 for looks). They've been a constant disappointment (especially for the price).

very comfortable, especially for a dress shoe; takes a bit of breaking in but not much. ECCO's are pricey, but worth it. For comfort, support. This shoe also fits my full orthotic.

I bought this shoe for my husband who is on his feet many hours a day. He says this shoe is very comfortable. From other reviews I saw that this shoe runs large so I bought him a size smaller than he usually wears and it fit him perfectly. Zappos is wonderful. You receive your shoes quickly and they make the return process easy. Thank you!!

Overall this is an amazingly comfortable shoe. I would have given 5 out of 5 overall except that the right shoe feels slightly loose. My other shoes aren't like this so I assume it isn't that my feet are different sizes!

Honestly, I was shocked that Zappos contacted me a year later with a follow up on the original pair of Ecco's I purchased. When I inquired about the brown color in the same shoe, I was told they weren't available. Just a few days later I was notified that they were indeed in stock. I quickly ordered them and as expected I received my order the next day. I am delighted with Zappos, and delighted with the Ecco shoes as there is virtually no break in period as they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Thanks to all!

Like all Ecco’s this is a light well made shoe. Toe is less square-front than picture here indicates, resulting in a look that's a little more frumpy.

My wife helped me pick these out. She felt they were just dressy enough and stylish without being too formal. She was right. The upper could have been a tad less rounded over the toe, for my taste, but still a great shoe. Comfy, as most Ecco’s are.

FANTASTIC SHOE -- EVEN FOR ECCO. Having bought several similar shoes in the past few years, I can state categorically that these were the easiest to break in to. I bought these shoes to wear for work both casual and dress. They are extremely comfortable and a great looking shoe. ECCO is the best. They are a little more money, but well worth it. And, of course, you won’t find a better online site than ZAPPOS for buying shoes. The service and the selection are fantastic..... I highly recommend both ECCO and ZAPPOS!!!

This is the second time I have ordered these shoes. I really wanted them in brown this time, but they did not have my son's size. The ones I ordered him last year are still looking great, but he liked them so much I needed to get them while they have his size. He loves them.
