I love these boots. I can wear them all day because they are quite comfortable. The only problem I have encountered is that a few of the teeth on one of the zippers came undone and since then have not been able to wear my boots. Is there any simple solution to this? Or does the entire zipper need to be replaced?

Not quite right -
I'd had my eyes on this boot for awhile so I ordered the brown and black to see which I liked better. The upper in both colors is very cute with the toggle detail, but, like other reviewers have said, the top and toe of the boot are a bit ordinary. I was looking for something a little funkier all around, so I ended up returning both pairs.

A bit busier than I noticed in the picture but these look GREAT on. I'm 5' and they don't cut into my knees which is another plus. The front does remind me of galoshes but the toes of my boots always get scuffed first so I figure it's added protection. My other Palladiums (size 5) fit fine without socks and these (size 6) are roomy enough that I'll put an insert in and still be able to wear socks/tights.

Such a cool looking shoe, BUT...
I thought these shoes looked so distinctly cool and different, I had to order them. I decided on the black ones because I thought that they would look great with a pair of black jeans or tights and skirt. When I got them out of the box, I noticed that they looked kind of bulky and the gummy rubber sole reminded me of rain galoshes. The leather is a decent quality, but because of the rubber lip coming up over the front of the shoe, it (the leather) looks fake. The top part of the boot is awesome. I love how it is higher in the front and the two toggles on the back look really sleek as well. I even like the Palladium logo. But that said, the fit of the shoe felt totally off. I am normally an 8.5 and since these were not available in half sizes, I ordered a 9. I had about an extra inch in the shoe, which made my feet look disproportionate while also making walking uncomfortable and awkward. The footbed is also very flat (and I don't have a high arch). My legs are an average thickness, but I found while the top of the shoe fit nicely around the upper part of my calf, the part in between my calf and ankle was loose and bulky. I wanted these to work so badly and was disappointed that I had to send them back. I've tried palladiums before and have noticed that they tend to feel very flat and with not much padding.

Eh.
These just plain did not look as cool in real life as they did online. They come to about mid-calf, lower in the back. I ordered the 6, which is my usual size, and it was a bit too roomy in the foot and the leg.

One part super hero, one part biker chick, all cool -
Great boot. I was looking for a cool, flat boot for the winter that I can wear all day. Just received these and love them, though may need to purchase something more traditional as well. I have wide calves (too wide for normal boots, too thin for wide calf) and I didn't want to spend all the money customizing that I spent last year. The height on these is slightly lower than normal "knee-highs" so it's more forgiving in the calf. Front "shin protector" is a bit awkward and "wonder woman" like, but overall the boot is fabulous. Once again, great Zappos service. So glad I'm not going to have to return them, but happy to know I could if I wanted... Now just need to decide if I'm buying the brown pair!

These boots are PERFECT!! They fit true to size (with room for arch support), are super comfortable, uniquely different, and can be worn with anything. I have muscular calves (almost 15 inches) and these fit with an inch to spare. NICE!! I got the two-tone brown suede/leather. The suede is more of an olive-brown (which I prefer). These boots make a confident, casual, unique statement that will set you apart from the "norm." Gotta get 'em...through Zappos of course, 'cause THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Thanks again, Z!!

You need these boots -
I love them. Even though it's the middle of summer, when I tried them on, I didn't want to take them off. I usually wear a 6.5 in a boot to allow for socks. I ordered a 6 and a 7. The 6 fit perfectly with a semi-thick bootie sock. They are slightly looser in the heel, but they don't slip or rub. They are well-made and very cool. that little rubber emblem doesn't bother me at all. I will wear them with tucked in or rolled up jeans. If anything, I found them to be a teensy bit larger than marked, most people said the opposite. I got the brown on brown. These are keepers!!!

Good shoe, just not a great fit -
These are great quality, BEAUTIFUL suede and leather boots. They are great if you are looking for something bohemian-y but not cowboy boots or furry boots, of which I am SO over. They seem a bit wide, nothing inserts or a sock won’t fix, however I am a voluptuous woman and they don’t fit around my calves, and there is NO elastic stretch part around the calf of any kind! Sadly I have to return them... as always Zappos had my shoes on my door step the very next day!

Buck the cowboy boot trend-
I ordered these in mocha and they are beautiful, the leather is soft and supple. These are a cross between chic and the cutting edge flat boot trend. I wear a size 10 and these boots do not make your feet look gigantic. I put arch supports in my shoes for added comfort. Some Palladium shoes run on the small side but these boots are true to size. Maybe a tiny bit wide but they don't look it. Lovely!

This boot is the bomb! Very comfortable, sleek and casual. Just what I was looking for. I was a little hesitant at first, but very satisfied with my purchase. They are a little wide (which is fine for me). If you have narrow feet, they may even feel big. Good leather, but can look a little plastic depending on the outfit. Not a boot for extremely cold weather (like CT winters can be), but with that extra width, you can throw on a thick pair of socks. Overall, I highly suggest these great looking boots.

Thank you Zappos and Palladium!!! My search for a unique winter boot came to an end when I found these! I am totally over all the trendy cowboy boots and furry boot styles out this winter! These boots are so comfortable too! I work in retail and have these boots on for 7-9 hours a day and my feet feel great! Super fast delivery!!! I paid extra to get them shipped one day because I ordered around 9:00pm on Wednesday night and I needed them for the weekend... my heart skipped a beat when I heard my doorbell ring at noon the next day!!!! Perfect Zappos- I would not hesitate to order from you guys again!

Good boot-
I was steered a little wrong by getting a bigger size, there's no half sizes so go up if you have a half size, stick with your normal size if you aren't normally in a half size.
I like the look of the boot, get plenty of compliments. Looks good with skirts or to tuck your pants in. The only thing I don't like is the little rubber medallion on the front of it. It's not so noticeable...

I'm extremely impressed with the speedy shipping. Ordered on Friday; received Monday! WOW! This is a very comfortable boot! Not as warm as I thought but it will do. As far as appearance...definitely a tucking in or skirt boot. With full length jeans it looks like an ordinary plastic snow boot. Overall I have no regrets and would recommend this boot to others. Great hybrid for work/weekend-
I wanted a boot to wear with casual skirts- something slightly rugged in appearance but not overly chunky. This boot fills the bill beautifully. It does run wide, forcing me to wear chunky socks to fill them out, but I love them otherwise.

If you're even vaguely considering these boots, do yourself a wonderful favor and buy them. I looked at boots at Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, etc, etc. and wasn't finding the look I wanted at the price point I had penciled in. I took a chance on the Evasion and have found them to be smart, sexy and edgy. Great with skirts, rolled up jeans or full length jeans. True to Palladium shoes, they run about 1/2 size small, otherwise a great fit. These will be very fun, comfortable and useful for our cold, wet Bay Area winters. Kudos to Zappos -fast, free shipping.
