Can't wear them out!
I bought this model about 18 months ago, and have worn them nearly every day, sometimes 18 hours at a stretch. Although I have a custom orthotic footbed inside, these boots are so stable, comfortable and just downright good, I cannot praise them enough. Please, Columbia, don't stop making them. My new pair is only a few weeks away!

I bought these shoes specifically for winter hiking and have been pleased. Fit and look are just what I wanted. Feet stay warm while walking and even perspire during strenuous walks. I have noticed that my feet feel the cold slightly when I am not as active, however, I have worn them in very cold conditions (less than 20 degrees F) with excellent results. Good fit right out of the box and I have been very pleased. My best friend now owns a pair due to my experience.

Great looking, classic boot.
Bought these for my boyfriend, but I got wide by accident. Therefore I personally cannot comment on comfort. I really love the look of this boot, great color combo, the bottom of the shoe isn't as chunky as some other hikers. Was concerned about warmth, as Zappo's description didn't really mention anything about it. Had to return them because the wide I ordered would have been too big. But AS USUAL: Zappos is the most reputable and amazing service company online today. Impeccable customer service. This girl is a Zappos customer FOR LIFE!

 |  | I received your email this morning about my shoes being shipped priority! I am just ending my 12 week maternity leave and will be going back to work on Tuesday. I have not lost all of the baby weight yet so I have been busy shopping for new clothes and also needed some new shoes for work to spice up my wardrobe. I have a difficulty time finding dress shows b/c I have a narrow heel and dress shoes do not stay on my heel very well. Therefore, I am always keeping an eye open for dress shoes with an ankle strap. My friend recommend Zappos.com and it has been a fantastic experience searching for shoes that fit by criteria! What a great website and great shopping experience! No more trips to the mall searching for shoes. I am hooked on Zappos! Your message that I will be receiving the shoes even earlier, which means I will have them for my first day back to work is the icing on the cake and made my day!
